Katherine L. Crissman 1910 - 2003
Katherine L. Crissman was born July 21, 1910 at Moline, Ill. to Edward and Emma Landt Lauer. She married Alonzo S. Crissman on Feb. 1, 1936 at Davenport, Iowa. She was a housewife and moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas in April 2003 where she passed away on May 10, 2003. She was 92 years, 9 months, and 19 days old.
Survivors: Husband - Alonzo Crissman of Flippin, 1 son - Robert Crissman (Wendy) of Flippin, 1 Grandon - Mark Crissman of New Prague, MN. and 4 Great Granddaughters.
Preceded in Death by: Parents, 1 daughter, 1 brother, and 2 sisters.
Funeral: Memorial Services will be at a later date in Iowa.

Bobbie Crow February 15, 1912 - February 28, 2003
Mrs. Crow was born Feb. 15, 1912, at Warsaw, Mo. to James and Frances Jones Stark. She married Everett Crow on September 24, 1932 in Iowa. The couple moved to Bull Shoals in 1952 and built Crow - Barnes Resort, now Bel’Arco Resort, just as Bull Shoals Lake was beginning to fill with water. The Crows later built Mar Mar Resort in 1955 and Imperial Resort in 1964. She was co - developer of Woodstone Subdivision, Rivercliff Golf Course and Subdivision and Village Mart Shopping Center with partner Roy Danuser.
Survivors: She is survived by her daughter, Marcene Crow of Gassville, four grandchildren, James Everett Nolan of Flippin, Crystal Marcene (Brad) Theel of Chandler, Ariz, Tiffany (Larry) Norman of Bull Shoals and Misty Marcene Waugh of Flippin; and Six great - grandchildren, Journey Nolan, Torin Nolan, Amber Fraser, Storm Nolan, Brody Theel and Zane E. Waugh.
Preceded in Death by: husband, parents, four brothers, three sisters and one great grandson, Dalton James Trout.
Visitation: Visitation will be March 5, 2003 at Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home in Bull Shoals.
Funeral: Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. in the First United Methodist Church in Bull Shoals with Rev. Gary Goldman officiating.
Burial: Newton Flat Cemetery

Eddie Arthur Cunningham 1961 - 2003
Ed was born January 10, 1961 at Kansas City, Mo. to Alfred and Georgia Ritter Cunningham. He was employed at Baxter Regional Hospital for 12 years and lived in Mountain Home, Norfork and Lakeview for 25 years, moving from Kansas City, Mo. Ed was a 1979 graduate of Norfork and loved to hike and fish.
Survivors: Ed is survived by his son, Eddie Coy Cunningham and mother, Georgia Parker of Calico Rock, paternal grandmother, Audrey Cunningham of Orrick, Mo., 4 brothers, Jerry Cunningham of Diamond City, Wayne (Angie) Cunningham of Mountain Home, Robert (Judy) Parker and Charlie Parker of Calico Rock, 1 sister, Katy (Mark) Page of Gassville, 12 nieces and nephews – Mandy, Tasha, Jenniffer, Jared, Mitchell, Justin, Lance and Logan Cunningham; Heather and Levi Parker, Monica and Braiden Page and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Ed was preceded in death by his father, step - father, Bert Parker, grandfathers, Roy Cunningham and Coy Ritter.
Funeral: Funeral services for Eddie A. Cunningham of Lakeview will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at Galatia Church with Rev. Donnie Speaks officiating. Ed died Friday, May 16, 2003. He was 42 years of age.
Burial: Burial will be in the Galatia Cemetery

Gladys Elizabeth Davidson February 14, 1905 - July 7, 2003
Gladys Elizabeth Davidson was born February 14, 1905 at Gresham, Nebraska to Carl Hoth and Nellie Regina Oberg Davidson. She was a secretary at Westinghouse for 45 years. She was a Mountain Home resident since moving from Chicago, Illinois in 1969. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Miss Davidson entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 7, 2003 at Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 98 years, 4 months, and 23 days.
Survivors: She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Davidson of Mountain Home; niece Patricia Rossiter of Pyatt, Arkansas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation: Visitation is from 1:00 P.M. until service time.
Funeral: Funeral service for Gladys Elizabeth Davidson, 98, of Mountain Home will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 10, 2003 at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Ken Lampe officiating.
Burial: Interment will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery
in Cotter, Arkansas.

Ruth Davis August 14, 1915 - July 3, 2003
Ruth Davis was born August 14, 1915 in Princeton, Indiana, the daughter of John and Mary (Sisson) Conrady. Ruth married Robert M. Davis on June 12, 1937 at Dixon, Kentucky. They lived in Mt. Carmel until 1972, and for the last 31 years in Mountain Home, Arkansas. They celebrated 66 years of marriage June 12, 2003. She worked as a factory repair person and was a member of the First Church of God, Mt. Carmel, Illinois. She entered into eternal rest on July 3, 2003 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 87 years, 10 months & 19 days.
Survivors: Ruth is survived by her husband, Robert; nephews, Larry (Gayle) Conrady of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Kevin Davis of Denver, Colorado, Richard Davis of Olnay, Illinois, Burton Amos of California; and sister - in - law Jean Davis of Mt. Carmel, Illinois.
Preceded in Death by: Preceding her in death were her parents, twin brothers Elmo and Eldo Conrady, brother Adam Conrady, and half - brother and sister Chester and Helen Burton.
Visitation: Friends may call Monday, July 7, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Short Funeral Home in Mt. Carmel, Illinois
Funeral: Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. July 8, 2003 at Highland Memorial Cemetery.

Thelma Davis October 29, 1919 - March 9, 2002
Thelma Hill Archer Davis was born October 29, 1919 at Sharp County, Arkansas the daughter of Franklin Everett Hill and Emma Spurlock Hill. She was married to John Franklin Archer, who died in 1946 and Dexter H. Davis who died in 1970. She was a sales person for Vandervoort Co. in St. Louis Missouri and member of First United Methodist church. She died on March 9, 2002 at her residence.
Survivors: 1 daughter, Venita Archer Reed of Mountain Home, AR; 1 grandson Charles Franklin Reed o Phoenix, Arizona; 3 great grandchildren Gregory Reed, Christopher Reed and Joseph Reed; 2 great great grandchildren Cameron and Matthew Reed; 3 nephews Harold & Terry Howard and Carl Hill

John Arthur Davis 1938 - 2002
John Arthur Davis of Mountain Home, was born on Feb. 16, 1938 in Coal Hill, Arkansas to John and Violet Hammonds Davis. He Married Dorothy Allison on November 12, 1961 at Clarksville, Arkansas and was the Vice President of Computer Services with Regions Bank of Little Rock. He was in the US Army Reserves during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a lifetime resident of Arkansas and moved to Mountain Home in 2002 from Little Rock.
Survivors: Wife - Dorothy Davis of Mountain Home, 1 son - Michael Shane Davis (Lara) of Mountain Home, 2 Brothers - Sam L. Davis (Carlynn) of Bryant, AR, and J.R. Davis of Virginia Beach, Va, 2 Grandchildren - Jacob Shane Davis and David Stout of Mountain Home and 1 Special Nephew - Tim Schrickhise of Little Rock.

Susie Davis 1943 - 2002
Susie B. Davis was born January 15, 1943 at Grant Parish, Louisiana the daughter of E. L. Bass and Ethel Mae Engles BAss. She married B. R. Davis at Orange, Texas on June 16, 1968 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Lafayette, Louisiana in 1990. She was an employee at Baxter Healthcare. She died on July 26, 2002 at Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 59 years.

Lucille Dean 1913 - 2002
Lucille Dean was born January 20, 1913 at Van, Missouri the daughter of James Robert Rentfrow and Rosa Ellen Davison Rentfrow. She married Horace Dean at Guymon, Oklahoma on November 10, 1931 and had resided in the Lakeview area since moving from Minden, Louisana in 1996. She was a homemaker and member of Midway Baptist Church. She died on February 28, 2002 at Twin Lakes Nursing Center in Flippin.
