Susan M. Huseby 1943 - 2002

Susan M. Huseby was born January 21, 1943 at Gary, IN. to Edward and Margaret Carlson Mellon. She married Kenneth Huseby on May 16, 1971 at Chicago, IL, and was a homemaker. She was a resident of Mountain Home, AR since moving from Buffalo Grove, IL in August 1993. She is a graduate of St.Mary of the Woods College with a B.S. Degree in Home Economics, and was a member of the Hill - N - Hollow Quilt Guild. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She passed away on May 30, 2002 at Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 59 years, 4 months, and 9 days.

Survived by: Husband: Kenneth and 1 Son Kevin Huseby of Mountain Home, 1 Daughter - Amy Huseby of Moutain Home, 2 Sisters - Linda (Larry)Rust of Zionsville, IN and Judith (James) Stanton of Hobart, IN. and 8 nieces and nephews.

Preceded in Death by: parents

Visitation: Was Monday, June 3 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil service at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral: Requiem Mass was held at St. Peter the Fisherman's Catholic Church on June 4, 2002 with Rev. Dennis M. Wood, Celebrant.

Burial arrangements: Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery

Memorials: American Cancer Society.

Luella Huston 1925 - 2002

Luella B. Huston was born April 23, 1925 at Coshocton, Ohio the daughter of George Rothenstine and Erma Belle Tice. She married James Mervin Huston at Greenup, Kentucky on November 29, 1947 and had resided in the Lakeview area since moving from Villa Park, Illinois in 1997. She was an inspector for G.T.E. in Illinois for 28 years and loved sewing, crafts, snow mobiling and fishing. She died on March 3, 2002 at Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 76.

Survived by: 1 son, James (Big Jim) Huston of Lakeview, AR; 1 daughter, Sharon (Wayne) Huffmire of Midway, AR; 2 grandchildren Amy (Michael) Maltese of WoodDale, IL and Wayne Huffmire of Plainfield, IL; 3 Great grandchildren; 1 brother, Paul Rothenstine of Old Town, Kentucky; Sister - n - law, Ladene Rothenstein of Navarre, OH and numberous nieces and nephews

Preceded in Death by: Parents, Husband, 2 Grandchildren, 3 Brothers and 2 Sisters

Funeral: March 12, 2002 at 10:00 AM at Bull Shoals Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Mattson officiating.

Yvonne M. Itzig May 23, 1915 - March 6, 2002

Yvonne M. Itzig was born May 23, 1915 at Lake Village, AR the daughter of Sol and Rose Fox Meyer. She was married to Charles Itzig and was a homemaker. She was a resident of Flippin, AR since moving from Greenville, MS in 1996. She was a former member of the Hebrew Union Congregation of Greenville, MS.

Survived by: 2 Sons: Charles Itzig Jr., Jerry Itzig, 3 Grand Daughters: Wendy C. Itzig, Susan Kaspar, Amy Itzig White, 2 Great Grandchildren: Lindsey M. Kaspar Justin C. Kaspar, Sister: Dorthy Zindler, Nephew: Benard Zindler

Funeral: Kirby - Boaz Chapel in Bull Shoals, Friday, March 8,2003 at 10:00 AM

Homer Merrell Ivy 1930 - 2003

Homer Merrell Ivy, 73, of Mountain Home passed away Sunday, February 23, 2003 at his residence. He was born January 23, 1930 at Naylor, MO to Rollie and Margaret Ivy. He married Alma Juanita Kuykendall on July 22, 1950 at St. Ann, MO. Homer loved fishing, hunting, farming, carpentry and playing the guitar. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He moved to Mountain Home in 1972 where he owned Ivy Construction Company. He was Scout Master, Mountain Home Troop number one. In 1984 he received the Boy Scout of America District Award of Merit.

Survived by: He is survived by his wife, two children - Donna Gail Baylor and Douglas Alan Ivy, four grandchildren, Tiffany Hughes, Christina Hughes, Anthony Ivy, Jacob Baylor and Step - Grandchild, Brandon Rodenbaugh, 2 brothers, James Ivy and Leo Ivy, 2 sisters Ruth Whitaker and Verneal King.

Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother and Brother Cleo.

Visitation: Visitation will be Thursday, 9:00 am until service time.

Funeral: Funeral Service for Homer Ivy will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 27, 2003 at Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home with Reverend Stefan Eubanks officiating.

Burial arrangements: Burial will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery

Eleanor Iven August 22, 1925 - September 3, 2003

Mrs. Eleanor Iven died September 3, 2003 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was 78.

Mrs. Iven was born August 22, 1925 at Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Kurt and Clara Shade Beilig. She married Robert Iven April 21, 1951 at Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Iven was a bank teller with Lakeview Bank and Northern Trust Bank in Chicago before moving to Mountain Home in 1981 from Prospect Heights, Illinois. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Mrs. Iven loved bowling.

Survived by: She is survived by her husband, Robert, of the home; two sisters - in - law, Trudy Tobin of Mountain Home and June Beilig of Beverly Hills, Florida.

Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Beilig.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 3:00 - 6:00 PM, Sunday, September 7, 2003 with Vigil Service at 5:00, at Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home.

Funeral: A funeral mass for Eleanor Iven of Mountain Home will be at 10:00, Monday, September 8, 2003 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Rev. Stan Swiderski as celebrant.

Burial arrangements: Burial will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Masses.

Jacqueline Jansen March 3, 1934 - December 7, 2002

Jacqueline Jansen was born March 3, 1934 at Chicago, Ill. to Arthur and Dorothy Johnson Lindquist. She Married Glenn Jansen on October 13, 1951 at Biloxi, Missippi. She pased away December 7, 2002 at Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 68 years, 9 months, and 4 days. She was a housewife and a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Survived by: Husband: Glenn Jansen of Mountain Home, 2 sons: Richard Alan Jansen of Jackson, New Jersey, and David C. Jansen (wife Dorothy) of Springfield, Ill., 1 Daughter: Melanie Jansen of Chicago, Ill., and 5 grandchildren

Preceded in Death by: Parents, and 1 brother Larry Lindquist

Funeral: A Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. in the Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Rev. Larry Olson Officiating.

Burial arrangements: Burial will follow in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Harold W. Jenkins 1919 - 2002

Harold Walter Jenkins, Jr., of Mountain Home, was born December 17, 1919 in Watertown, New York to Harold W. and Bertha Duffy Jenkins. He married Norma Lou Schield on June 10, 1948 in Central Square in New York City. He was a telephone man for New York Telephone Co. He was a WWII Army veteran and a member of the First Christian Church. He moved to Mountain Home in 1982 from New York and passed away on June 13, 2002 at the age of 82 years, 5 months, and 26 days.

Survived by: Wife: Norma Lou Jenkins of Mountain Home, 1 Son: Bernard Jenkins, Sr. (Eleanor) of Mountain Home, 2 Daughters: Cynthia Biggs (Robert) of Fort Worth, Tx., and Crystal Wagoner of Fort Worth, Tx., 7 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren, 2 Brothers: James Jenkins of Pompano Beach, FL and Donald Jenkins of Liverpool, New York, and 1 Sister: Betty Dreyhaupt of Mineola, NY

Funeral: Memorial Services were held on June 15, 2002 at the Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Lee Nershal officiating.

Burial arrangements: Burial was in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with the Ozark VFW post # 3246 providing military honors.

Margaret Jensik 1902 - 2002

Margaret M. Jensik was born July 23, 1902 at Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Martin Kohns and Augusta Metizke. She married Frank C. Jensik at Chicago, Illinois on October 25, 1924 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Chicago in 1965. She was a former secretary and member of Cathlic Council of Women at St. Peter's The Fisherman Catholic Church and Friday Mixers Bowling League. She died at Baxter Regional Medical Center on March 26, 2002 at 99.

Survived by: 1 Nephew, Frank Kohns of Mesa, Arizona

Preceded in Death by: Parents, Husband, 1 Niece and 1 Nephew

Funeral: March 27, 2002 at St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church at 2:00 PM with Reverend Stan Swiderski as celebrant.

Bearyl E. Jepson July 16, 1921 - August 25, 2002

Bearyl Jepson was born in Washington, MN to Tony and Gladys Vressman Jepson. He married Dolores Thesenvitz on July 16, 1946 at Luverne, MN. he was an electrical engineer, and was a member of the Christian Church of Flippin. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and traveling.
