James Moore 1916 - 2002

James Douglas Higgins Moore was born November 26, 1916 at Nova Scotia, Canda the son of William Moore and Margaret Hart Higgins Moore. He married Sally Kenyon at Detroit, Michigan on September 15, 1962 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving Detroit in 1976. He served with the US Army during World War II and was co - ordinator of Swimming, Parks & Recreation in Detroit. He drove the school bus for Mountain Home School District for 10 1/2 years and taught swimming at Mountain Home Racquet Club. He was a member of Ozark VFW Post #3246 and AARP. Mr. Moore entered into eternal rest on February 22, 2002 at Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 85 years.

Survived by: Wife, Sally Moore of Mountain HOme; 4 daughters, Anne (Mike) Lasch of Racine, Wisconsin, Bonnie (Bert) Sidaway of Holden, Maine, Heather (Brad) Crownover of Mountain Home, AR, Sandra (Dave) Naples of St. Clair Shores, Michigan; 5 grandchildren, Julia, Megan & Claudia Lasch, Eilidh Sidaway, Danielle Brousseau; 1 great grandchild Elizabeth Brousseau; several nieces & nephews

Preceded in Death by: parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters

Visitation: Monday, February 25, 2002 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Funeral: Funeral at Redeemer Lutheran Chruch on February 26, 2002 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Kenneth Lampe officiating.

Burial arrangements: Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetey

Rose Evelyn Moreno 1910 - 2002

Rose Evelyn Moreno of Mountain Home was born February 18, 1910 at Cicero, Ill to Emil and Jeanne Kustad Kemp. She was a secretary for a Real Estate Office and a Catholic. She was married to Mario Moreno. She moved to Mountain Home in January 2001 from Chicago, Ill. She passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center on August 20, 2002 at the age of 92 years, 6 months, and 2 days.

Survived by: Son - Gene Moreno (Nancy) of Mountain Home, 2 Granddaughters: Mary Ann Cammillo (Dan) of Nottingham Park, Ill. and Jeana Marie Vasquez (Joe) of Brookfield, Ill and 4 Great Grandchildren and 1 Brother: George Kemp of Gassville, Ar.

Preceded in Death by: Husband, Parents, and 2 Grandchildren.

Funeral: Graveside Services were held on August 27, 2002 at St. Boniface Cemetery in Chicago with Reverend Mark Sorvillo officiating.

Dorothy Morgan 1915 - 2002

Dorothy E. Morgan was born March 31, 1915. She had been a resident of the Bull Shoals area since moving from Chicago, Illinois in 1974. She was a former Physical Ed teacher in the Chicago district

Funeral: Memorial service on January 11, 2002 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Jim Barton, officiating.

Dorothy Jean Morris, 78 of Mountain Home died May 13, 2002 at Care Manor Nursing Home. She was born December 2, 1923 in Chicago to Leanord and Hazel McPhearson Kemph. She married Gene G. Morris on September 2, 1950 in Chicago. She was a homemaker. She moved to Mountain Home in 1991 from Chicago. She was a member of the Twin Lakes Lions Club, Presbyterian Church Choral. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Survived by: She is survived by her husband Gene G. Morris of Mountain Home, 4 Children Timothy J. Morris of Frankfor,IL., Thomas L. Morris of Tinley park, IL., Deborah L. Bujwit of Denton, TX., Michael R. Morris of New Lenox, IL., 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren, 1 sister Virginia Jostes of FL.

Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation: Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday may 15, 2002 at Kirby Boaz Funeral Home.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday May 16, 2002 at the First Presbyterian Church.

Robert E. Morrison June 17, 1916 - April 2, 2002

Robert E. Morrison 85, of Gassville died April 2, 2002 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born June 17, 1916 in Rock Island, IL. He married Ruby Norgard July 13, 1946 in Dalueth, Iowa. He was a Mill Wright for John Deere Company for 43 years. He has lived in the Gassville area for 27 years moving from Moline, IL. He was a member of the Christ By The Lake Lutheran Church.

Survived by: He is survived by his wife Ruby Morrison of Gassville, Brother - in - law David and Irene Norgard and 2 nephews.

Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister.

Funeral: A Memorial Service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday April 8, 2002 at Bull Shoals Christ By the Lake Lutheran Church with Reverend David Mattson officiating.

Burial arrangements: Entombment will be at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.

Mildred Mary Mosbeck January 16, 1928 - October 21, 2002

Mildred Mary Mosbeck was born January 16, 1928 at Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Lawrence and Mildred Chadwick McGuire. She married the late Harold Mosbeck at Chicago, Illinois on March 2, 1968 and had resided in the Bull Shoals area since moving from Woodridge, Illinois in 1982. She was a former accounting clerk for Mosbeck Industrial Equipment and a member of Rivercliff Golf Course. Mildred Mary Mosbeck entered into eternal rest on October 21, 2002 at Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 74 years, 10 months and 5 days.

Survived by: 1 Brother: James McGuire of Elk Grove Village, Illinois 1 Sister: Elizabeth England of Bull Shoals, AR Special Nephew & Niece: Dennis & April England of Midway, AR

Angela Munarin 1915 - 2002

Angela S. Munarin was born September 25, 1915 at Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Silvio Dalle Molle and Teresa Marie Bressan. She married Joseph J. Munarin at Chicago, Illinois on November 25, 1933 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Dolton, Illinois in 1972. She was a homemaker and former member of Council of Catholic Women. She died at Auburn Hills Rehabilitation Center on April 5, 2002 at the age of 86.

Dolph Harris Murphy 1915 - 2003

Dolph Harris Murphy was born December 5, 1915 at Mound City, IL to Clyde Murphy and Maude Harris Murphy. He married Mildred Kasha on August 30, 1945 at Davenport, Iowa. He was a resident of Mountain Home, AR since moving from North Platt, NE in 1970. He was a machinist, was a memeber of the Railroad Club, and was a member of the Episcopal Church. Dolph Murphy entered into eternal rest on May 17, 2003 at Mountain Home, AR at the age of 87 years.

Survived by: He is survived by his wife - Mildred Murphy of Mountain Home; Good Friends - Alfred and Betty Morris; and sister - Jean Coram

Mildred H. Murphy 90, of Mountain Home died June 2, 2003 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was born May 17,1913 to Frank and Francis Swvoboda Kasha in Washington, KS. She married Dolph Murphy August 30, 1945 in Davenport, IA. She was a Foreman of a Manufacturing Plant.

Survived by: She is survived by good friends Alfred and Betty Morris of Mountain Home.

Iris Nelson 1919 - 2002

Iris J. Nelson was born October 20, 1919 at Alvo, Nebraska the daughter of Archie Miller and Vida Swartz. She married Clarence E. Nelson and had lived in the Springfield, Missouri area since moving from Mountain Home in 1998. She was a homemaker and an avid bridge player. She died at Springfield, Missouri on June 19, 2002 at the age of 82.

Robert A. Nelson was born March 23, 1928 at Westerly, Rhode Island the son of Alfred A. Nelson and Mildred Johns. He married Catherine Pasetti at Norwalk, Conneticutt on September 9, 1951 and had resided in the Cotter area since moving from Dallas, Texas in 1994. He served with the US Army during the Korean War and was a steel fabricator for Nelson Fabricators for 25 years. He was a member of VFW #5742 in Cotter. He died August 23, 2002 at his residence at the age of 74.
