Clyde Aaron Nettles 1915 - 2003

Clyde Aaron Nettles was born April 9, 1915 at Sharp, Arkansas to Charles Nettles and Carrie Lynch Nettles. He married Marion Anna Nielsen on October 28, 1939 at Antioch, IL. He was a farmer and the custodian for the Antioch Elementary School in Antioch, Ill for many years. He was a Methodist. He was a resident of Mountain Home, AR since moving from Lake Villa, IL in July 1995. Clyde Aaron Nettles entered into eternal rest on February 14, 2003 at Mountain Home, AR at the age of 87 years, 10 months and 5 days. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother.

Survived by: He is survived by: Wife - Anna Nettles of Mountain Home, AR Son - James Nettles and wife Donna of Mountain Home, AR Daughter - Diana Nettles of Mountain Home, AR 2 Grandsons and 5 great grandchildren

Visitation: Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Monday, February 17, 2003.

Funeral: Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2003 at Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Brooks Officiating.

David Neurauter 1942 - 2002

David Neurauter was born July 19, 1942 at Carlshad, New Mexico the son of Roddy Neurauter and Gravelita Neurauter. He married Phyllis Clark at Mountain Home, Arkansas on July 1, 1977 and had resided in the Gassville area for 27 years after moving from New Mexico. He was a member of Twin Lakes Church of Nazarene, a coin collectoor and loved kids. He died at Baxter Regional Medical Center on March 22, 2002 at the age of 59.

Survived by: Wife, Phyllis Neurauter; 2 Daughters Amanda Gaylord of Germany and Samatha Neurauter of Gassville, AR; 1 Grandson Matthew Gaylord; Adopted Daughter Sheila (Bill) Wiles; 3 Sisters Zella Emiliano, Gloria Ramirez and Evelyn of Carlsbad, New Mexico; 1 Brother Junior Neurauter of Michigan and several nieces and nephews

Preceded in Death by: Parents, 1 Sister and 1 Brother

Funeral: March 26, 2003 at 10;00 AM at Twin Lakes Church of the Nazarene with Dr. Sam Bailey and REverend Bob Stovall officiating.

Clark Newsom 1926 - 2002

Clark McBride Newsom was born November 28, 1926 at Springfield, Illinois the son of Paul Newsom and Helen Elizabeth Buckley. He married Lilli Elizabeth Schafer at Richmond, Texas on November 3, 1951 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from REston, Virginia in 1988. He was a Personnel Relations Consultant for Newspaper Assoc. of America and served with US Navy during World War II. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Americna Legion Alley - White Post #52, VFW Ozark Post #3246 and Sigma Nu Fraternity. He died at Baxter Regional Medical Center on July 26, 2002 at the age of 75.

Survived by: 1 Daughter, Brigitte (Harvey) Stewart of Palatine, Illinois; 2 Granddaughters Andrea and Holly Stewart

Tempest Odessa Niederhauser 1924 - 2003

She was born June 21, 1924 at Waterloo, Iowa to Wallace and Rose Way Ackman. She married Glen Truman Niederhauser on October 20, 1965 at Omaha, NE. She was bookkeeper for Niederhauser Airways, and worked in the Human Resource Department for John Deere for 5 years in Waterloo, IA, and she was a florist. She was a former resident of Bull Shoals, AR since moving from Waterloo, IA in 1978. She had recently moved to Pearland, TX to be near her daughter. She was a member of Sweet Adelines and was very active in League of Women’s Voters. She was an avid bridge player, golfer and painter, and loved swimming, sailing, skiing, and boating. She was a member of the Bull Shoals United Methodist Church.

Survived by: She is survived by 4 sons - John (Judy) Niederhauser of Whitwell, TN, Dale (Sandra) Niederhauser of Dallas, TX, Robert (Marge) Niederhauser of Waverly, IA, and Nicholas Haurum of Waterloo, IA; 3 Daughters - Myrna (Ken) Hartwig of State Center, IA, Susan (Carl) Larson of Round Rock, TX, and Sue Alger of Houston, TX; 17 Grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; Brother - Walters Schneider of Cape Coral, FL; Sisters - Michaline (Sheldon) Phillips of Orange Park, FL and Jeannine (David) Bergt of Houston, TX.

Preceded in Death by: Parents, husband and 1 grandson

Funeral: A Memorial Service for Tempest Odessa Niederhauser,78, will be Wednesday, 11:00 AM at Bull Shoals United Methodist Church with Reverend Gary Goldman officiating. Burial will be in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Tempest Niederhauser died March 25, 2003 in Houston, TX.

Kathleen Nolan 1945 - 2002

Kathleen Ann Nolan was born May 10, 1945 at Honolulu, Hawaii the daughter of Kenneth Eugene Nolan and Vivian DelMundo. She had lived in the Flippin area since moving from Waukegan, Illinois in 1959 and worked for Ranger Boat Manufacturing. She died at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on June 20, 2002 at the age of 57.

Survived by: Mother, Vivian Nolan of Flippin, AR; 3 Brothers, Dan (Vicki) Nolan of Bull Shoals, AR, Mike Nolan of Flippin, AR, Jim (Paula) Nolan of Bull Shoals, AR; Several Nieces and Nephews

Walter Claude Norrick 1915 - 2003

Walter Claude Norrick was born October 27, 1915 at Massey, IN to Claude and Maggie Willis Norrick. He was a resident of Mountain Home, AR since moving from Findley, IN in 1978. He married Roberta June Beasley on December 15, 1939 at Francisco, IN. He served in the US Army during WWII. He loved to fish and was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church. Walter Norrick entered into eternal rest on May 22, 2003 at Mountain Home, AR at the age of 87 years, 6 months, and 25 days.

Dolores Novak 1929 - 2002

Dolores Helen Novak was born June 30, 1929 at Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Frank Byczek and Helen Nowak. She was married to Stanley F. Novak and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Chicago, Illinois in 1975. She was a former assembly worker at Revere Camera Co. in Chicago and member of VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary. She died in Mountain Home on March 13, 2002 at the age of 72.

Survived by: Husband, Stanley Novak; 1 son, Wayne Novak of Mountain Home; mother, Helen Byczek of Rogers, Arkansas and 1 brother Frank Byczek of Rogers, Arkansas

Jean Nusch was born February 13, 1912 at Scotland the daughter of William Cormack and Isabel Cormack. She married Max O. Nusch at Chicago, Illinois on July 4, 1937. She was co - owner of Cedar Grill Restaurant. She was a member of Tau Gamma Soriety, past president of PTA, past officer of Band Boosters and a Girl Scout Leader. She died at her residence on May 2, 2002 at the age of 90.

Norma Lucile Nystrom July 3, 1907 - July 28, 2003

Norma Lucile Nystrom was born July 3, 1907 at Shawnee, Oklahoma to John Hjalmar and Betty W. Pearson Carlson. She married Melvin Bernhard Nystrom on January 23, 1937 at Waukegan, Illinois. During her life, she worked in real estate, with the State of Arkansas Revenue Department, Baxter County Health Department, and assisted her husband in the operation of Twin Lakes Golf Pro Shop. Mrs. Nystrom moved from Waukegan, Illinois in May 1948 and was a Mountain Home resident until February 2003 when she moved to North Little Rock to be with family. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Norma Lucile Nystrom entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 28, 2003 at Northridge Nursing Home in North Little Rock at the age of 96 years and 21 days.

Survived by: She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Richard) Cadieux of Little Rock; two granddaughters, Angela (Randy) Ryan and Cheryl (Jim) Morrison, both of Fayetteville; and three great - grandsons.

Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, and one daughter, Betty.

Funeral: Memorial service will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 1, 2003 at the First Presbyterian Church.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or the Mountain Home Christian Clinic.
