Leona Ellen Stone 1929 - 2002

Leona Ellen Stone of Lakeview was born on September 28, 1929 at Sprigfield, Ill to James F. and Sophia Stehman Bennett III. She married Robert G. Stone on November 24, 1948 at Springfield, Ill. and was an office administrator for the State of Illinois. She moved to Lakeview, Arkansas in 1990 from Springfield. She belonged to 3rd Presbyterian Church. She passed away at her residence on August 15, 2002 at the age of 72 years, 10 months, and 17 days.

Survived by: Husband - Robert G. Stone Sr., of Lakeview, 3 Sons - Robert "Bob" Stone and Ronald J. Stone both of Springfield, Ill. and Richard "Rik" L. Sone of Pleasant Plains, Ill.

Arnold D. Stone April 9, 1934 - March 20, 2002

Arnold D. Stone 67, of Mountain Home died March 20, 2002 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born April 9, 1934 in Ottawa, IL. to Guy Joseph and Irene Edna Gillium Stone. He married Jane E. Bickley April 17, 1954 at Sandusky, Ohio. He was a M/SGT. Missile Maintenance for the U.S. Air Force. He moved to Mountain Home in 1990 from LaSalle,IL. He was a member of Ozark VFW Post 3246,90th Aero Squadron Association. He enjoyed gardening and fishing with his Grandchildren. He was Lutheran.

Survived by: He is survived by his wife Jane Stone of Mountain Home, 4 sons: David Stone of Moutain Home, Richard and Allen Stone of LaSalle,IL., Douglas of Menomonee Falls, Wis., 2 daughters KatherineErnst of Oglesby, IL., and Carolyn Pyszka of Mountain Home, 3 Brothers Orville stone of Ottiawa,IL, James Stone of Sebastian, FL.,Thomas Downing of Geneva, IL., 3 sisters Berniece Hackman of Wasco,IL., Joyce Herman of Ottawa, IL., Joan Ward of Mountain Home, 13 Grandchildren.

Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents,1 brother, 3 sisters, 1 grandson.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be 4:00 P.M. Friday March 22, 2002 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Reverend Larry Olson officiating.

Burial arrangements: Burial will be at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with military Honars by NCAVC of Ozark VFW Post 3246.

Jane Mary Stout 1932 - 2003

Jane Mary Stout was born August 11, 1932 at Chicago, IL to Tony Kuzdas and Mariann Guzik Kuzdas. She married Marion Stout on October 8, 1955 at Cicero, IL and was a homemaker. She was a resident of Mountain Home, AR since moving from Addison, IL in 1993. Jane Stout entered into eternal rest on February 19, 2003 at Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 70 years, 6 months & 8 days.

Survived by: Husband - Marion Stout of Mountain Home, AR; Sons - David Jonathan Stout and wife Karen of Monroe Center, IL; Daughter - Becky Rhea and husband Danny of Lee, IL; Grandchildren - David and Cheyenne Stout, Rachel, Cody, Emily, Abigail and Isaac Rhea; Brother - Tony Kuzdas of Sun City West, AZ; and many nieces and nephews

Visitation: Visitation will be Friday, February 21, 2003, 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home

Funeral: Funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 22, 2003 at Mountain Home Baptist Church with Dr. James Hoffpauir officiating.

Burial arrangements: Entombment will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum

David Herman Stumpf September 3, 1939 - June 29, 2003

David Herman Stumpf was born September 3, 1939 at Park Rapids, Minnesota to John H. and Alice Schower Stumpf. He married Cecelia Burns on July 3, 1976 at La Puenta, California. A resident of Mountain Home since moving from Stockton, California in 2002, he was a member of the Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1956. A U.S. Navy veteran, he worked as a painter in construction. Mr. Herman entered into eternal rest on June 29, 2003 in Mountain Home at the age of 63 years, 9 months and 26 days.

Survived by: Survivors include, his wife, Cecelia Stumpf, of Mountain Home; one son, David Herman Stumpf of Kanab, Utah; two daughters, Elania Marie Pitchford of Moab, Utah and Diana Michel (Charles) Cox of Mountain Home, Arkansas; five grandchildren; and one sister, Jackie Hornor of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Robert Eugene Suddeth 1935 - 2003

Robert Eugene Suddeth was born March 14, 1935 at Chicago, IL to Robert R. and Lola M. Bond Suddeth. He married Glenn Ann Payson in 1961 at Camden, Maine. He was a resident of Mountain Home, AR (Promise Land area) since moving from Chicago, IL in 1986. He was self employed in the heat and air conditioning business, and was protestant. He served in the US Coast Guard. He enjoyed fishing, and was very mechanical and enjoyed fixing things. Robert Eugene Suddeth entered into eternal rest on February 12, 2003 at his residence at the age of 67 years, 10 months and 28 days.

Genevieve Sutton was born to Charles Albert Brooks and Ruby Mary McNatt - Brooks in Akron, OH. She married Larry E. Sutton and was a Bookkeeper for a chemical Company. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Mary Swanson was born January 21, 1914 at Sholm, Minnesota to Matthew Gustin and Helen Rodman. She was a housewife. She was a member of the Eagle Auxilary and a member of the Methodist Church. She is survived by nieces Rosemary (Dwight) Bar, Dorothy Jenezyk, and Jackie Adame; as well as her sister Ann; and good friends Sheila Nicholson and Betty Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles A. Swanson.

Ray Morgan Sykes was born April 27, 1908 at McHue, AR to John Abraham Morgan and Martha Ann DeFries Morgan. She married Burl W. Sykes on December 24, 1942 at Des Moines, IA and was a school teacher. She was a resident of Mountain Home, AR since moving from Springfield, IL in January 1972. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Ray Morgan Sykes entered into eternal rest on May 15, 2003 at Mountain Home, AR at the age of 95 years and 18 days

Mable Lorine Taylor was born April 18, 1932 at Monette, Arkansas the daughter of Bud Davidson and Bessie Trantham. She married Reuben Forrest Taylor at Black Oak, Arkansas on October 23, 1952 and had been a resident of the Lakeview area since moving from Jonesboro, Arkansas in 1994. She was a homemaker and loved gardening, fishing, ceramics and cooking. She died at her residence on July 23, 2002 at the age of 70.

He married Vilma Teichman June 5, 1943 in Chicago, IL. He was a Tool and Die Maker for Portage Tool and Die. He moved to Mountain Home in August 1988 from Roselle, IL. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #3246 of Mountain Home, American Legion of IL., and a Catholic. he loved playing Bingo and fishing.

Survived by: He is survived by a son George Teichman, Jr., 4 daughters Joanne DiBrito of Walnut Shade,MO., Linda Rozensky of Jackson, Mich., Patricia Maas of Hoffman Estates, IL., Elizabeth Botscharow of Mountain Home, 1 brother Raymond Teichman of Las Vegas, Nev., 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
