Opal L. Hampton, 75, of Fouke, Ark., died Sunday, March 7, 2004, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Hampton was born Dec. 26, 1928, in Tupelo, Miss. She was a homemaker and a member of Fairland Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by two sons, James Hampton and Jerrell Ethridge.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Hampton of Fouke; three sons and one daughter - in - law, Jessie Bob and Bille Sue Hampton of Dewitt, Ark., and Erivin Hampton and Danny Hampton of Fouke; three daughters and one son - in - law, Peggy Adams of Indiana, Joann and George Skelsy of Oregon and Linda Rojas of Florida; three sisters; three brothers; 17 grandchildren; and 30 great - grandchildren.
Services will be 3 p.m. today at Fairland Holiness Church with the Revs. Ben Shaw and Lloyd Shuecraft officiating. Burial will be in Fouke Cemetery
under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.
HALEI McINTOSH
Halei Brooke McIntosh, infant daughter of Tommy and Jennifer McIntosh of Forrest City, Ark., died Sunday, March 7, 2004, in a Memphis, Tenn., hospital.
Halei was born Feb. 6, 2004, in Memphis.
Other survivors include her grandparents, Butch and Becky McIntosh of DeKalb, Texas, Randy and Debbie Caudle of Maud, Texas, and David and Debra Merritt of Redwater, Texas; her great - grandparents, Wilma McIntosh of DeKalb and Leroy and Mary Merritt of Redwater; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Center Ridge Cemetery, Maud, with the Rev. Jason Dudley officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of David and Debra Merritt.

ASHDOWN, Ark. - Roy King Baker, 42, of Foreman, Ark., died Tuesday, June 22, 2004, in a Little Rock hospital.
Mr. Baker was born March 12, 1962, in Foreman. He was a former employee of Alcoa and a janitorial business owner.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Ruth Baker of Foreman; three sons, Billy Roberts of Idabel, Okla., Gerald Fields of Tom, Okla., and Joe Baker Jr. of Foreman; three daughters, Jessica Fields of Dallas, Monica Baker of Foreman and Destiny Cherry of Idabel; his mother, Rubie Lee Baker of Foreman; eight sisters, Willie Carter of Loma Linda, Calif., Vernell Dedmon of Foreman, Geneva Johnson of Idabel, Suzanne Baker, Anita Baker, Juliette Baker and Willie Ann Baker of Rialto, Calif., and Ruby Jean Baker of South Carolina; four brothers, Jerry Baker Jr. of Foreman, Secody Baker of Ashdown, Bobby Baker of Broken Bow, Okla., and James Baker of Idabel; and a number of other relatives.
Closed casket services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John Baptist Church, Foreman, with the Revs. Eddie Estell and Robert Easter officiating. Burial will be in Alford French Cemetery
under direction of Hamburg Funeral Home.

DE QUEEN, Ark. - Vernon DeFoor, 63, of Gillham, Ark., died Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at his home.
Mr. DeFoor was born Dec. 4, 1940, in Breckenridge, Texas. He was a retired welder and a Marine veteran.
Survivors include one son, Kirk DeFoor of Gillham; two daughters, Leslie Strength of Coleman, Texas, and Toni DeFoor of Brownwood, Texas; two sisters, Irene Stockton of Broken Bow, Okla., and Darlene Parramore of Lubbock, Texas; six grandchildren; five great - grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today in Mineral Cemetery, Gillham. Burial will be under direction of Chandler Funeral Home.

HOPE, Ark. - John Douglas May, 72, of Murfreesboro, Ark., died Sunday, June 20, 2004, in Murfreesboro.
Mr. May was born May 7, 1932, in McCaskill, Ark. He was self - employed and a member of Murfreesboro Church of Christ.
Survivors include one sister, Ora Lee Boozer; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Mauney St. Church of Christ, Murfreesboro. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery, Ozan, Ark., under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.

STAMPS, Ark. - Ashley Magee, 21, of Garland City, Ark., died Saturday, June 19, 2004, in Garland City.
Ms. Magee was born Jan. 19, 1983, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a member of Lanesport Baptist Church.
Survivors include her parents, Perry and Johnnie Magee of Garland; one sister, Rhonda Magee of Chicago; and two brothers, Perry Magee of Texarkana and Michael Magee of Magnolia, Ark.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lanesport Baptist Church, Garland City, with the Rev. Billy Mayfield officiating. Burial will be in Wynn Cemetery.
The body may be viewed from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

PRESCOTT, Ark. - Ora Olene Rooks Dildy, 85, of Prescott died Monday, June 28, 2004, in a Hope, Ark., hospital.
Mrs. Dildy was born Jan. 20, 1919, in Nathan, Ark. She was a teacher and curriculum coordinator and a member of Prescott Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis Ann Dildy of Houston; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Shackelford Funeral Home with Howard Horton officiating. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Cemetery, Nashville, Ark.
The body may be viewed from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Clark was born Jan. 17, 1956, in Little Rock. She was a homemaker and a member of the Coast Guard Marine Safety Unit.
Survivors include her husband, CPO James "Butch" Clark of Texarkana; two sons, Steven Sanders and James Sanders of Texarkana; one stepson, William Clark of Texarkana; three stepdaughters, Reggie Brosky and Katie Woodle of Texarkana and Jill O'Dell of Magnolia, Ark.; two sisters and one brother - in - law, Jan and Mike Teer and Sue Oliver of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives.
