HOPE, Ark. - I.J. McKamie, 74, of Hope died Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at his home.
The Rev. McKamie was born May 3, 1931. He was a retired Baptist minister and truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Florine Brown McKamie of Hope; four sons, Jay McKamie of Prairieville, La., the Rev. Scooter McKamie of Plainview, Ark., Jerry McKamie of Hope and Eddie McKamie of Nash, Texas; three daughters, Tanya Sellier of Prairieville, J. Nell “Jennifer” McKamie of Hope and A.J. McKamie of Westmoreland, Tenn.; one stepson, Jerry Wayne Brown of Hohenwald, Tenn.; one brother, Buddy McKamie of Emmet, Ark.; 17 grandchildren; 18 great - grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Scooter McKamie officiating. Burial will be in Falcon Cemetery, Falcon, Ark.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
DORTHA MURDOCK
Dortha Jean Murdock, 74, formerly of Texarkana, died Monday, April 24, 2006, in a Dallas hospital.
Mrs. Murdock was born May 29, 1931, in Hickory, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Texarkana, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bonnie Earl Murdock.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Harper of Dallas; two grandchildren, Robert Hymes and Alicia Hymes of Dallas; and one sister, Betty Scott of Tulsa, Okla.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at East Memorial Gardens. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.

Doris Marie Frizzell, 75, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, April 21, 2006, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Frizzell was born Nov. 20, 1930, in Ida, La. She was retired from Texarkana National Bank and a member of First Baptist Church, Nash. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby C. Frizzell.
Survivors include one brother and sister - in - law, Lee and Lisbeth Pennington of Texarkana; one niece, Donna Waters of Tampa, Fla.; one nephew, Rick Campos of Airdrie, Alberta, Canada; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Tim Strebeck officiating. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.
Visitation is 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family will be at the Pennington residence.

PRESCOTT, Ark. - Andy Clay Lucas II, 35, of Prescott died Saturday, April 22, 2006, at his home.
Mr. Lucas was born Jan. 26, 1971, in Prescott. He attended Geyer Springs First Baptist Church and was a student at the University of Arkansas - Little Rock, where he was a member of the Student Government Association and the newspaper staff.
Survivors include his parents, Doyle and Jackie Lucas of Prescott; two brothers and one sister - in - law, John Lucas of Fort Smith, Ark., and Steve and Sonia Lucas of Little Rock; one sister and brother - in - law, Cherrie and Danny Wilson of Prescott; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Shackelford Funeral Home with the Revs. Mike Taylor and Tal Webb officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Caldwell was born Sept. 6, 1924, in Goodwater, Okla. He was a farmer and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by one stepson, Jerry Ray Waldon.

Mr. Renfrow was born Dec. 28, 1939, in Longview, Texas. He was a retired electrician with Hadaway Electrical, a farmer and a member of First Baptist Church, Lockesburg. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Arlene Young.
