Jeannette Anne Cline

BROOKLAND -- Jeanette Anne Hogan Cline, 30, of Brookland died Friday, March 2, in St. Bernards Medical Center.

She lived most of her life in Jonesboro and was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Having a positive outlook on life, she was giving and forgiving and lived her life to the fullest. She loved her family, friends, and Coco.

She is survived by her parents, Tommy and Sarah Vickers Hogan of Jonesboro; her fiance, Ed Bryant of Brookland; a sister, Beth Grimes and her husband Joel Grimes of Brookland; a niece, Lillian Grimes; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thad and Jeanette Hogan and Timothy and Vetrice Vickers.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Gary Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Phillip Rodgers, Larry Norwood, Butch Davidson, Terry Vickers, Mike Hogan and Garry Hogan.

Honorary bearers will include Cecil Massey, Raymond Wells, Jerry Grimes, Dr. Scriber, Dr. Cranfill, Dr. Sifford, Dr. South, Dr. Edwards and St. Bernards MICU nurses.

Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital or the NEA Comprehensive Learning Center.

Mary Hazel Evans

PIGGOTT -- Mary Hazel Evans, 92, passed away on March 3, 2007, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott.

She was preceded in death by her husband John.

Hazel leaves behind Betty Sue Owen of Piggott, Jim and Gail Evans of Maypearl, Texas, and Mary Frances and Joe Harmon of Nashville; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 5, 2007, at 10 a.m. in Hoggard & Sons Chapel. Burial will be in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be today at 6 p.m.

Fay Ernestine Keedy

NEWPORT -- Mrs. Fay Ernestine (Hinson) Keedy, 89, of Newport died Saturday, March 3, 2007, at Newport.

She was born in the family-owned Galloway Hotel in Newark on June 19, 1917, to Dr. W.D. and Anise (Barnes) Hinson.

Mrs. Keedy grew up in Newport, graduating from Newport High School. She married Mr. William H. Keedy and spent her life as an active member of the community. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she sang in the Sanctuary Choir and was a charter member of the Evlyn Rush Circle. Mrs. Keedy was a member of various clubs and organizations including the McDowell Music Club, PTA and the Jackson County League of Artists.

She loved traveling, reading, painting and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed her flower gardens and decorating her home. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her family knew her as "Babaw."

Mrs. Keedy was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Keedy Sr.; and her parents.

She is survived by her children, Linda and Dale Harrison of Bryant, Bill and Jennifer Keedy and Cynthia and Don Smotherman, all of Newport; her grandchildren, Craig and Sheryl Harrison, Christopher and Michelle Harrison, Jonathan and Diane Harrison, Mary Kathryn and Doug Dupwe, Billy and Brandi Keedy and Stephen and Katrina Smotherman; and great-grandchildren, Keedy and Macy Claire Harrison, Cole Harrison, Will Keedy, Justin and Drew Vaden, Cody Dupwe and David Kuebler.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Jackson's Newport Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Sigman officiating. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 5-7 p.m.

Deana Kilbreath

MCDOUGAL -- Deana Kilbreath, 40, of McDougal passed away Saturday, March 3, 2007, in Piggott Community Hospital at Piggott.

She is survived by her parents, Warner and Mae Millikan Kilbreath of McDougal; one sister, Ginger Kilbreath of McDougal; and other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be held Monday, March 5, 2007, at 1 p.m. in Young Cemetery at McDougal with Johnny Bradshaw officiating. Burial will be in Young Cemetery at McDougal. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today.

Bradley Scott Latham

BEECH GROVE -- Bradley Scott Latham, 37, of Beech Grove died Thursday, March 1, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Survivors are his wife, Ellice Ann Latham; his son, Dylan Scott Latham; and daughter, Anna Marie Latham, all of the home. He is also survived by his father, Johnny Mac Latham, and mother, Judy Diane Latham, both of Beech Grove; his brother, Bryan Stuart Latham of Fairfax, Va.; and his maternal grandparents, Herman and Elgareda Williams of Beech Grove.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Herman and Gladys Latham.

Brad was a member of Evening Star Church of Christ. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast.

Brad was an employee of Gateway Engineering in Jonesboro. He worked through contract at Kraft Foods, Post Division. Brad had many friends and loved ones and will be greatly missed. "Loved by all, Honored by many."

Visitation will be at Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould from 6-9 p.m. today.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 5, graveside at Morrow Cemetery with Bud Whitmire officiating. The procession will leave Mitchell Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Monday. All bikers are welcome. Following the service, food will be served at the Commissary Church of Christ.

Shane Jetton, Shane Henson, Tony Carey, Shannon Henson, Terry Don Norwood, Heath Brown, Tim Smith and Randy Mauch will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Gordon, Chan Boggs, Brad Greathouse and Jerry Naylor.

Dr. David C. Loe

JONESBORO -- Dr. David C. Loe, 67, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007 at his home.

He was born in Jonesboro, La., and moved to Jonesboro, Ark., in 1973, moving here from Orange, Calif. He was of the Baptist belief and was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Henderson Loe.

David received his doctorate in psychology from the University of Southern California and taught full-time at Arkansas State University for three years before starting his private practice in 1976. In addition to his private practice and consultation with local law enforcement agencies, he continued to teach part-time for Arkansas State University.

Survivors include his wife, Carol J. Loe; daughter, Angela D. Hamilton of Wardell, Mo.; son, David H. Loe of Hurst, Texas; two grandchildren, Gavin H. Loe and Katherine S. Loe; mother, Eleanor King of Hot Springs; stepmom Rosemary Loe of Gulfport, Miss.; four stepsisters, Sandra Johnson of Alabaster, Ala., Sherry Schorr of Bossier City, La., Shelia Crumpley of Flower Mound, Texas, and Sonja Oxley of Longview, Texas. All services will be private.

Larry Dewayne Luna

HARRISBURG -- Mr. Larry Dewayne Luna, 41, of Harrisburg died Friday, March 2, at his residence. Born in Trumann, he lived most of his lifetime in Trumann and Northeast Arkansas.

Mr. Luna was a factory worker, member of Union Grove Baptist Church, a talented musician who loved to entertain people performing with several different bands, and had a deep love and devotion for animals.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Marjorie and Kenneth Bell of Harrisburg; father and stepmother, David and Jevonna Luna of Brookland; two sisters, Christi Fortier of Jonesboro and Connie Criswell of Paragould; five brothers, Steve Bell of Osceola, Scott Bell, Jonathan Luna and Kyle Luna, all of Brookland, and Donnie Luna of Austin, Texas; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Beatrice Luna of Trumann; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Trumann with the Rev. Bobby Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.

Visitation will be today from 4-6 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.

Active pallbearers will be Jackie Newberry, Tony Newberry, Dale Walker, Lee Fortier, Garland Burgess and Jonathan Luna.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Beebe, Jerry Joe Luna, A.J. Fortier and Geoffrey Fortier.

Mary Estelle Morris

PARAGOULD -- Mary Estelle Morris, 92, of Paragould died Saturday, March 3, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

She was born Aug. 19, 1914, in Pollard, the daughter of the late James Alfred and Mary Ray Stairs. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Perry Marlar; her second husband, Alfred Raymond Morris; and her daughter, Margaret Joann Tatum.

She worked at Ely Walker Shirt Factory for 28 years and has worked at the family business, Ballard's Flowers, since 1966. She was a member of Third Avenue Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Opal Marlar of Paragould; stepson, Brit Lyles of Paragould; grandchildren, Greg Marlar of Paragould, Tarry Marlar of Fort Smith and Tauny Emery of Collierville, Tenn.; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Her life will be celebrated Monday, March 5, at Third Avenue Baptist Church in Paragould at 2 p.m. Visitation will precede the service from 1-2 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery.

Heath Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Paulette Rose

PARAGOULD -- Paulette Rose, 62, of Paragould died Friday, March 2, 2007, at her residence.

She was born on Nov. 15, 1945, in Paragould. Mrs. Rose was an LPN and a member of the 2nd and Walnut Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Rose of the home; her mother, Pauline Willey of Paragould; three sons, William Clayton McBryde Jr. and John Kurtis McBryde, both of Russellville, and James Clinton McBryde of Ash Flat; two stepsons, Brandon L. Rose of Paragould and Robert L. Rose Jr. of New Orleans, two stepdaughters, Heidi Hoppe and Paige Baker, both of New Orleans; and eight grandchildren.

Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by her father, Norman H. Willey.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with James Brown, Clint McBryde and Allen Hagen officiating. Burial will follow in the Linwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday in Mitchell Funeral Home at Paragould.
