Rudy L. Mullins

BONO — Rudy L. Mullins, 74, of Bono died Monday morning at his home.

He had lived in the Bono area for most of his life. He was a retired factory worker from Lincoln Manufacturing. After his retirement he enjoyed sitting and watching animals in his yard.

He is survived by his sons, Roy Lee Mullins of Bono and Jerry Glenn Mullins of Brookland; brothers and sisters, Ruby Freeman of Egypt, Charles Mullins of Jonesboro, Jim Mullins of Bono, Frank Mullins of Bono, Gerildine Womack of Florida and Maxine Mullins; grandchildren, Lanora Turner, Jeremy Mullins, Chad Mullins, Dylan Mullins and Josh Summitt; great-grandchildren, Jessie Turner, Jeremy Mullins, Emily Mullins, Hunter Mullins, Noah Mullins and Matthew Mullins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Lee and Bessie Enlow Mullins; and a brother, Max Mullins.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel with John Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Freddie Foreman, Rick Foreman, Ron Hill, Josh Summitt, Larry Foreman and Roger Foreman.

Visitation will be held tonight from 5-7 at the funeral home.

Billie Jean Baldwin Neel

GOSNELL — Mrs. Billie Jean Baldwin Neel, 78, of Gosnell died Sunday at her home.

She leaves her children, Thomas Baldwin of Ward, Eva McBride of Blytheville and Ella Brooks of Gosnell; one brother, Joe Lawrence of Portland, Ore.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Margaret Baldwin and Mary Frien.

Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Cobb Funeral Home at Blytheville with burial following in Elmwood Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.

Anna Loretta Raley

PARAGOULD — Anna Loretta Raley, 92, of Paragould died Sunday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Anna Raley, and siblings, Adrian Raley, Frances Hayden and Virginia Ephrussi.

Survivors include siblings, Pauline Raley, Sister Anne Michele Raley, Howard Raley Jr., James Raley and Ronald Raley, and many nieces and nephews.

A rosary service will be in Heath Funeral Home at 7 p.m. Thursday.

A funeral Mass will be Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Richard Cleary and Deacon Rex Bouldin officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Betty Faye Feltman Smith

GOSNELL — Betty Faye Feltman Smith, 74, of Gosnell died Sunday at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She leaves her son, Jim Smith (Connie) of Gosnell; stepson, Joe Smith (Paula) of Westland, Mich.; brothers, Junior Feltman and Gail Feltman, both of Louisiana; grandchildren, Jay Smith (Emily) of Steele, Mo., and Jeffrey Smith of Gosnell; four stepgrandchildren, Becky, Kenny, Joe Jr., and Steven Smith; great-grandchild, Ava Catharine Smith; and seven step-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Elmwood Cemetery at Blytheville with visitation from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Cobb Funeral Home.

Bill Thomas

TUCKERMAN — Bill Thomas, 55, of Tuckerman died Friday.

He was preceded in death by one son, David Thomas; father, Andrew Thomas; and stepfather, James Swibaker.

Survived by mother, Mary Swibaker; sons, Shane Thomas and T.C. Hutchison; daughters, Delia Oakes and Hazel Rowlett; brothers, Charles Thomas and Jay Berry; sisters, Timothia Brownfield and Kathy Vos.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Tuckerman Family Worship Center with burial in Gracelawn Cemetery. Arrangements by Dillinger Funeral Home.

Rachel Walker

PARAGOULD — Rachel L. Walker, 85, a lifelong resident of Paragould, died Monday, June 2, 2008, at Ridgecrest Nursing Center.

She was of the Baptist belief and preceded in death by her husband, Tom Walker, granddaughter, Donna Sarrels, and two sisters.

She is survived by sons, Roy Walker and Jerry Walker, both of Jonesboro; Willie Walker of Paragould; daughter, Ola Mosby of Paragould; three brothers; two sisters; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Emerson Funeral Home with Butch Parks officiating and burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers are Michael Davis, Chris Sarrels, Paul Parks, Tim Houston, Kenny Walker, Timmy Walker and James Reathbaum.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. until service time in the funeral home.

Virgil E. Webb

WYNNE — Virgil E. Webb, 64, of Wynne died Thursday, May 29, at his home.

Webb was a retired sergeant in the U.S. Army and a deacon at First Baptist Church in Wynne.

Survivors include sons, Christopher T. and Nathan Thomas of Naples, Texas; daughter, Nicole Webb of Jonesboro; and five grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Wynne with the Rev. Julius Hill officiating. Burial will be in Cogbill Cemetery at Wynne. Woodard Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was held Monday.

Rickey Lee Wilson

LUXORA — Rickey Lee Wilson, 52, of Luxora, died Saturday at his residence.

Survivors include wife, Cynthia Wilson of Luxora; daughters, Shawn Russell of Blytheville, Deanna Langston and Candace Carter, both of Osceola; sisters, Esther Spencer of Black Oak and Vanessa Humble of Manila; brothers, Ellis Davis of White Cloud, Mich.; Earl Davis of Michigan, Eugene Davis of Luxora and Pete Wilson of Wilson; and six grandchildren.

Visitation was held Monday.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today in Wilson Funeral Home at Osceola with burial in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.

Beula Wooten

NEWPORT — Beula Wooten, 89, of Newport died Sunday.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Larry; daughters, Madonna Hampton and Lavonna Jones; four brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include sons, Bill Wooten of Newport and Gary Wooten of Wilber, Neb.; daughters, Rhonda Dautrich of Atlantic Beach, N.C. and Melissa Baker of Morrisville, N.C.; brothers, Cecil and Weldon Clark, both of Paragould; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements by Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home.

Visitation is tonight, 6-8, in the funeral home.

Charles ‘Poss’ Cato

MONETTE — Charles “Poss” Cato, 73, of Monette died Sunday at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born at Cardwell, Mo., he was the son of the late Ritchard and Esther Hart Cato and had been a lifelong resident of the Cardwell and Monette areas.

He was a farmer and veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Cato, and two sisters, Olean Holcomb and Ella May Jarrett.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Coburn Cato of the home; five sons, David Cato, Stacy Cato and wife, Dee Dee, Kelly Cato and wife, Julie, all of Little Rock, Keith Cato and wife, Kathy, of Hot Springs, and Monty Montgomery and wife, Donna, of Jonesboro; and two daughters, Heather Lee and husband, Wesley, of Perryville and Mitzi Pierce and husband, Chris, of Jonesboro. He also leaves 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Monette Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Reed officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville.

Pallbearers will be James Estes, David Vaughn, Bob Peel, Joe Lawrence, Jerry Estopy and Gilbert Rojas.

Honorary pallbearer will be Dewey Boyd.

The family will receive visitors this evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.

Lawrence R. ‘L.C.’ Collier

JONESBORO — Lawrence Collier, 60, died Monday, June 9, 2008, at his residence.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and entrusted to Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
