Luetta Baker

On July 9, 1944, she married the love of her life, J.C. Baker, who went home to wait for her on Nov. 3, 1992. They have two loving daughters, Joyce Baker Brown of Marked Tree and Judy Baker Fox of Marion.

She was baptized into the Lord’s church in May 1957 at Lepanto Church of Christ by James Benson. She devoted her life to her Lord and her family and died a member of the Missouri Street Church of Christ family.

As her family grew, so did her capacity to love grow. She leaves behind son-in-law Jimmy Brown of Marked Tree; grandchildren, Robert Fox and wife Deann of Tyronza, Lisa Fox Halbach and husband John of Marion, Tim Brown and fiancée Amy Saponara of Marion, and Lacey Brown of Marked Tree; and great-grandchildren, Blake and Jessica Fox of Tyronza, Brianna Walker, Christian Peppers of Marion, Emily, Chris and Rush Halbach of Jackson, Miss.

In her later years her frustration with her failing body was clear to all who knew her because of her giving nature. She lived to serve her family and loved ones and her Lord.
