Mrs. Rogaisis

Mrs. Emma Rogaisis, 95, of Osceola, died Tuesday at Baptist Hospital in Osceola. She was born in Pennsylvania, was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Osceola and was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rogaisis.

Surviving are one son, Richard Rogaisis of Osceola; two granddaughters; and two great-granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 in the chapel of Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola, with Rev. Ed Gillham officiating. Burial will be in the Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.

There will be no visitation.

Hatcher

Graveside services for George Allen Hatcher, 60, of Paragould, who died Sunday at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky., will be at 2 Thursday afternoon at Pine Log Cemetery near Brookland.

Born in Jackson, Miss., Hatcher was a mason and was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include two sons, Terry Hatcher of Little Rock and Jimmy Hatcher of Memphis; one daughter, Rhonda Jean Lands of St. Simmons Island, Ga.; one stepdaughter, Donna Sanchez of Memphis; two brothers, Paul Hatcher of Paragould and Ray Hatcher of Pensacola, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 9 this evening at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould.

Casey

Michael Ray Casey, 57, of Cherokee Village died Monday at his residence.

He was retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad Company and was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include his mother, Iris Hammonds of Ash Flat; two sisters, Rebecca Albright of Camp and Patricia Wattenbarger of Cherokee Village; one brother, Larry Casey of Albuquerque, N.M.; five sons, Kenneth Casey of Kansas City, Mo., Kevin Casey of Missouri City, Mo., Charles Casey of Mammoth Spring, Craig Casey of Independence, Mo., and Ty Casey of Hardy; one daughter, Regina Wagner of Kansas City; 10 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be at 2 Saturday afternoon at the Heath Chapel on the Hill Funeral Home of Hardy, with Bill Hattenbouer and Floyd Rikard officiating. Burial will be in Lawrence Memorial Park, under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie.

Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Casey, Kevin Casey, Charles Casey, Craig Casey, Ty Casey and Michael Gary Casey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Casey, Marlin Glen Tate, Anthony Hawk, James Hyde, Michael Dewayne Casey and Robin Wagner.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 Friday evening at the Heath Chapel on the Hill Funeral Home of Hardy.

Mrs. Isabell

Mrs. Farah Isabell, 30, of Manila, died Saturday at her home.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant General Baptist Church. She lived in the Leachville and Manila areas most of her life.

Survivors include two sons, William Alexander Chambers and Nickolaus Dale Chambers, both of Leachville; her parent, Wendell and Paulette Gadberry of Monette; three sisters, Sandy Smith of Jonesboro, Christy Fletcher and Jill Gadberry, both of Monette; and her grandfather, Paul Everett of Paragould.

Funeral services will be at 1 Thursday afternoon in the Gregg Funeral Home chapel at Monette, with Rev. Clarence Cornish officiating. Burial will be in Macey Cemetery, with Gregg Funeral Home of Monette in charge.

Dennis Cobb, DeWayne Couch, Lloyd Carmichael, Antonio Garcia, Shannon Everett and Johnathan Hampton will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will from 6 until 9 tonight and Thursday morning from 9 until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rowland

Mrs. Irene Rowland, 95, of Paragould, died Tuesday at Paragould Nursing Center.

Born at Randolph County, she was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal belief.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlist Mike Rowland, two sons and a daughter.

Survivors include one son, Bill Rowland of Paragould; four daughters, Estelenne Gerl of East Alton, Ill., Dortha Jean Gillman of High Ridge, Mo., Arlene Russom of Beech Grove and Geraldine Shewmaker of Paragould; one brother, Olan Campbell of Paragould; one sister, Juanita Cooper of Beech Grove; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 Thursday morning in the Health Colonial Chapel at Paragould, with Rev. Earl McKelvey officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery at Paragould. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6 until 9 tonight at Heath Funeral Home.

Mitchell

J.O. Mitchell, 62, of Tuckerman, died Monday in Harris Hospital at Newport.

He was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by three sons.

Survivors include seven sons, Johnny Mitchell of Victoria, Jasper Mitchell of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Charles Mitchell of Elm Springs, Jimmy Mitchell of Saffell, Steven Mitchell of Booneville, Patrick Mitchell and Billy Mitchell, both of Bradford; three daughters, Elizabeth Mitchell of Bradford, Brenda Mitchell of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Patricia Collins of Oran, Mo.; three brothers, Bobby Mitchell of Elgin, Larry Mitchell of Tuckerman and Earnest Mitchell of Elgin; one sister, Shirley Stone of Colomo, Mo.; and 12 grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 this afternoon in Cheshier Cemetery at Eglin, with Marty Russell officiating.

Jackson's Newport Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be 10 this morning until noon at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stults

Mrs. Mary Lee Weaver Stults, 71, of Ash Flat, died Tuesday at her home.

Survivors include her husband, Richard L. Stults of Ash Flat; and five brothers, J.F. Weaver, Leo Weaver, Cleo Weaver, Arthur Weaver and George Weaver.

The body was cremated, and no formal service is scheduled. Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel in Highland.

Wells

Funeral services for Harold Murl Wells, 67, of Jonesboro, have been scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at 3 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home chapel in Jonesboro. Michael Wells Sr. will officiate, and burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Bono.

Born in Leachville, Wells died Sunday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center. He lived in the Jonesboro area his entire life and was retired from the Singer Company in Trumann. He taught furniture repair classes and was co-owner of Wells Furniture in Jonesboro, and he was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Georgia Wells of the home; two sons, Michael Wells Sr. of Holliday, Texas, and Charles Winn of Lebanon, Tenn.; three daughters, Dee Wilson of Snyder, Texas, Kim Bobbitt of Cash and Tabitha Jones of Jonesboro; two brothers, Bill Carter of Bono and Carl Carter of St. Louis, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will include Kevin Bailey, Kenny Freeman, David Bewley, Terry Jones, Larry Jones and Lomer Gene Turney Jr.

Smith

Paul W. Smith, 86, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center. Born in North Carolina, he lived most of his life in the Jonesboro area. He worked as a meter reader for City Water and Light and was retired from American Electric. He was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy Smith of Bedford, N.H.; one brother, Hodge Smith of Jonesboro; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Smith; one son, Roland Smith; and one infant daughter.

Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 1 in the chapel of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Raymond Atwood officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be this afternoon from 5 until 8 this evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cox

Funeral services for Mrs. Vaudine "Deana" Cox, 78, formerly of Hardy, will be Saturday afternoon at 2 in the Pioneer Freewill Baptist Church, with Rev. Stan Gray officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Highland. Arrangements are under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service of Hardy.

Mrs. Cox died Saturday at the Ash Flat Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Monette, she was retired from an electronic factory in Walnut Ridge. She was a member of the Pioneer Freewill Baptist Church in Ash Flat.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Robert Heath and James Leroy Heath, both of California; two daughters, Louise Stivers and Linda Sue Gilardi, both of California; one half-sister; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two half-sisters.

Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 5 until 8 that evening at the funeral home.
