Kimberlie Marie Conley

CHANDLER, Ariz. — Kimberlie Marie Conley, 43, of Chandler passed away Sunday, Nov. 2.

She was born June 8, 1965, at Chicago to Douglas McArthur and Bonnie Sue Conley. She was a nurse’s aide and of the Baptist belief. She enjoyed music and spending time with friends.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Edward Dorda of Ypsilanti, Mich.; a brother, Ashley Conley of Bluefield, W.Va.; a sister, Theresa Aggas of Apache Junction, Ariz.; a niece, Jennifer Bracknell of Mesa, Ariz.; a nephew, Jerry Stronach of Apache, Ariz.; a great-niece, Alisha Anderson of Mesa; and many aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas McArthur Conley; and a niece, Melissa Stronach.

Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m. in Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Michael Willard officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until service time in the funeral home.

Frankie Mae Grey

Sept. 29, 1934-Nov. 2, 2008

COVINGTON, Tenn. — Frankie Mae Grey, 74, of Covington died Sunday.

She was born at Luxora and was a lifetime resident of Mississippi County.

Survivors include her children, Patricia Haley, Bertha Craig, Selener, Barbara, Parnell and David Love, Wiley Hale and Calvin Davis Jr.; stepchildren, Willie Love, Mattie Marsh, Joyce Caldwell, Vanessa, Lisa, David Jr. and Jeffrey Grey; siblings Artie Jones, Earline Brodie and Curtis Pointer; 38 grandchildren; and 54 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church at Osceola with burial in Whiteside Cemetery.

Visitation will be this evening from 6-8 at Wilson’s Osceola Funeral Home.

Edna Lovean Harris

BLACK OAK — Edna Lovean Harris, 76, of Black Oak Community went to be with the Lord Monday, Nov. 3, 2008.

She was born Aug. 27, 1932, at Houston, Ark., to the late Riley Ezra and Martha McGlothlin and was of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Harris; and survived by one daughter, Joyce Crabb and husband Gordie of Rockford, Ill.; one son, Rodney Harris and wife Debbie of Tyronza; brother, William McGlothlin and wife Patricia of Marked Tree; four sisters, Juanita Chism and husband Bernard; Essie May and husband Glen and Mary Maddox, all of Houston, and Jannie Adams and husband Don of Sherwood; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be today at 9:30 a.m. in the Church of God at Marked Tree with interment at 3 p.m. in Antioch Cemetery near Perryville in Perry County under the direction of Roller Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis.

Marjorie Krennerich

NEW ORLEANS — Marjorie Augusta Schwartz Krennerich, 86, of New Orleans died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital.

She is survived locally by her son, George J. Krennerich III and his wife Janie; and grandchildren, Erika Krennerich Chudy and Kyle Krennerich.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Darwin S. Marshall

POCAHONTAS — Darwin Stanley Marshall, 62, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 24, 1946, at Salt Lake City to the late William and Marjorie Marshall.

He is survived by his wife, Robbie Marshall of the home; a son, Charles Marshall of Pocahontas; a daughter, Michelle Franklin and son-in-law Don, along with their two children, John Michael Dodd and Chayton Lynn Franklin, all of Texarkana, Ark.; one sister, Pam Healey of Washington, Utah; and two brothers, Scott Marshall of North Carolina and Shaun Marshall of Mesa, Ariz.

Mr. Marshall’s body was cremated, so there will not be any services held. McNabb Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Georgia McRay

BLYTHEVILLE — Georgia McRay, 80, of Blytheville died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Survivors include four daughters, five sons, 43 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of other family and friends.

Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Wilson’s Blytheville Funeral Home with burial in Memory Garden Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home.

Patricia M. Robinson

JONESBORO — Patricia M. Robinson, 63, of Jonesboro passed away at St. Bernards Medical Center on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Langford-Bookout Funeral Home.

Kent Jay Rubens

WEST MEMPHIS — Kent Jay Rubens, 61, of West Memphis passed away Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008.

He was born at Memphis Jan. 27, 1947. He was a prominent lawyer who followed his father into the practice of law and began his practice in 1971. Until the time of his death he was a partner of Rieves, Rubens and Mayton Law Firm.

He earned an A.B. from the University of Arkansas in 1968 and juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas Leflar Law Center in 1971. He was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity.

Mr. Rubens was a member of the American Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and had served as president of the Crittenden County Bar Association. He was a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, whose membership is composed of the best trial lawyers in the United States.

In addition, he was an advocate with the American Board of Trial Advocates. He was law clerk for the Honorable John A. Fogleman, associate justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court, from 1971-72, served as special chief justice for the Arkansas Supreme Court in 1989, was a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1975-81, and served on the Crittenden County Election Commission from 1985-94.

He is survived by his wife, Belinda Eldridge Rubens, and her two children, Wiley Jackson Williams of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and Carra Wood Garza of San Antonio; grandson, Alec Eduardo Garza; as well as his mother, Mildred Rubens of West Memphis.

He is also survived by a brother, Michael Rubens and his wife Sharon of Pleasantville, N.Y.; and a sister, Terry Rubens Luther and her husband Rick of Aurora, Ill.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the West Memphis High School Performing Arts Center, located off Broadway Street behind the West Memphis High School at the corner of Pierce and Bond streets in West Memphis, with interment in the family cemetery at Gregory.

Memorials may be made to University of Arkansas School of Law, 1045 West Maple St., Fayetteville 72701; Arkansas Bar Foundation, 2224 Cottondale Lane, Little Rock 72202; or Mid South Community College, 2000 West Broadway St., West Memphis 72301.

Ernestine Stites

NEWPORT — Ernestine Stites, 87, of Newport died Thursday, Nov. 6.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Norman Stites; parents; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include daughters, Carolyn Jones and Norma Boyster of Newport; brothers, Henry and Dale Milligan of Texas; sisters, Margaret Busby of Newport and Madeline Smith of Fairfield Bay; one grandson, Scott Jones of Mississippi; several great-grandchildren; special friend, Viola Peebles; and numerous friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Dillinger Chapel with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 this evening.

Arrangements are by Dillinger Funeral Home.

Mary Frances Waln

JONESBORO — Mary Francis Waln, 83, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Visitation will be held tonight from 6-8 in Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Complete arrangements will be announced by Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Kenyon Trent Wooten

PARAGOULD — Trent Wooten, 45, of Paragould died Wednesday, Nov. 5, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Survivors include his mother, Joyce Dunnam of Paragould; daughters, Amber Scott and Kendra Wooten, both of Paragould; and sons, Kenyon Wooten and Kelsey Wooten, both of Paragould.

Funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Heath Colonial Chapel. Interment will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.

Visitation will be this evening from 6-8.

The family requests memorials be sent to Children’s Homes Inc. of Paragould.

Charles W. Jones

JONESBORO — Charles W. Jones, 75, of Jonesboro passed away Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

He was born at Leachville and lived in Jonesboro since 1956. He was a retired truck driver for Jones Truck Lines and a U.S. Army Korean veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Geraldine Jones of the home; and two sisters, Agnes Shockley of Jonesboro and Evelyn Page of Memphis.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. today in Trinity Cemetery with Keith Baker officiating and Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Active pallbearers will be Carl Moore, Jeff Moore, Bobby Davis, Dale Davis, Terry Browning and Shannon Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Fleeman, L.C. Tiner, Fred Sitz, Tommy French, Nettleton Lions Club and Jonesboro Truck Lines employees.

There will be no visitation.

Family requests that lasting memorials be made to the Trinity Cemetery care of Gaylon Tate, 4556 CR 318, Bono 72416-7627, or a charity of your choice.
