COOTER, Mo. — Bonnie Chrisco Meadows, 67, of Cooter died Wednesday, Feb. 25.
She was a Baptist and retired from Baptist Memorial Hospital at Blytheville. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Wayne Meadows; and five children.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. today in Carney Funeral Home Chapel, (870) 838-0011, at Blythe-ville with Dr. Tommy J. Carney officiating.
Jessie Geneva Moring
LITTLE ROCK — Jessie Geneva DeMoss Moring, 89, of Little Rock passed away on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009.
Born on April 22, 1919, at Clarksville to Harry and Mary DeMoss, she grew up and graduated from school in Grapevine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. Moring; her parents; sister, Delma Brewer; brothers, John DeMoss, Harry DeMoss Jr., Paul DeMoss and Edward DeMoss; stepsons, Jerrell Moring and Jimmy Moring; grandson, Jeffery Moring; and great-granddaughter, Hannah Moring.
She is survived by sons, Gene and wife Glenda Moring of Little Rock, and Glen and wife Nancy Moring of Jonesboro; stepson, Billy and wife Glenda Moring of Ball, La.; sisters, Jean Bragdon and Nancy Donaldson, both of Pine Bluff; grandsons, Greg and wife Deitra Moring, and Dale Moring, all of Little Rock, Brad and wife Angie Moring, and Brian Moring, all of Jonesboro; great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Tyler, Curtis, Haylea, Cheyanne and Jess; plus a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Geneva enjoyed her career as a dental assistant in Dumas and Little Rock for more than 30 years. She was devoted to and happiest when spending time with family and friends. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed, but will always be with us in our hearts and memories.
Visitation will be from 5-7 this evening, and funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Buie Funeral Home at Sheridan with Julius Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery
at Prattsville.

Billy Gene Noles
WALCOTT — Billy Gene Noles, 72, of Walcott died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, at his home.
He was born Aug. 30, 1936. Mr. Noles was retired from the Greene County Road Department, was a Mason and a member and trustee of Walcott Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Black Noles of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Gina and Keith L. Smith, and Deanna and Edward Allred; mother, Marlue Shipman Noles; sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Richard Newberry, all of Walcott; grandchildren, Josh Smith, Meredith Smith Kingston, Seth Smith, Katlyn Allred and Madison Allred; and great-grandchild, Rylee Lynn Smith.
Preceding him in death were his father, Eugene Noles; brother, Bob Noles; paternal grandparents, Lucian and Mary Frances Pillow Noles; and maternal grandparents, Jacob Monroe and Dicy Elizabeth Norman Shipman.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 this evening in Heath Funeral Home.
His life will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Sunday in Walcott Baptist Church with the Revs. Rudy Ring and Glen Hoselton officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Nick Newberry, Quincy Roberts, Dennis Davenport, Sam Isom, Del Massey, Terry Smith, Matt Ring and Adam Ring.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the men’s Sunday school class of Walcott Baptist Church.

Christian Carroll Still
PARAGOULD — Christian Carroll Still, 24, of Paragould died Thursday, Feb. 26, at his home.
Born at Jonesboro, he had lived most of his life in Paragould. He was a 2003 graduate of Greene County Tech High School and was scheduled to graduate from Arkansas State University in May with a major in English and a minor in religious studies. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church at Paragould.
He is survived by his parents, Randy and Debbie Still of Paragould; brother, Matthew Loren Still of Paragould; and grandparents, Elton and Minnie Still of Manila and Mrs. Delores Sharp of Leachville.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Redeemer Lutheran Church at Paragould with the Rev. Jon Bischof officiating. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery
under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 this evening in the funeral home.
Burnell Clair Crone
CHEROKEE VILLAGE — Burnell Clair Crone, 63, of Cherokee Village died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at home after a long illness.
He was born April 18, 1945, and raised at Dover, Pa., to the family of William and Mildred Hughes Crone. Siblings included a brother, Larry; and sisters, Carole and Theda.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Donna; and children, Susanne Crone Jackson of Ocala, Fla., and Richard Crone, his wife Heidi and child Ella Jean, all of Carlisle, Pa.
The families will hold private services at Dover.
Legacy Hospice is to be commended for the care and comfort that they provided.

Irwauna W. Haun
MOUNTAIN HOME — Irwauna W. “Pud” Haun of Mountain Home died Thursday, March 5, 2009, at Mountain Home at the age of 83.
She was born Saturday, Jan. 30, 1926, at Jackesboro, Texas, the daughter of Marion C. and Bertha Garner Welch. “Pud” had lived in Arkansas since 1928, moving from Jackesboro. She married Leland Haun on March 24, 1946, at Paragould.
She graduated from Arkansas State University-Jonesboro and taught 35 years in high schools across Arkansas.
Irwauna Haun is survived by three sons, Edward (Sylvia) Haun of Mountain Home, Stanley (Debra) Haun of Gassville and Darryl (Lucy) Haun of Mountain Home; one daughter, Vanessa Haun of Mountain Home; five grandchildren; one brother, Maurice (Clarene) Welch of Paragould; four sisters, Talmadge Billingsley of Jonesboro, Marion (Thaddeus) Mangrum of Jonesboro, Lenora (Billy Joe) Smith of Paragould and June (Charles) Harvill of Paragould.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Yvette; two brothers; and one sister.
Funeral services for Irwauna Haun will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with John Shadowens officiating. Visitation will be from noon until service time. Burial will be in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery
at Mountain Home.

Betty Ann Lynn
LITTLE ROCK — Betty Ann Lynn, 106, of Little Rock died Wednesday.
Born Oct. 27, 1902, at Paragould, she was a retired cosmetologist and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Robert Atkinson of Alexandria, Va., and Ann Brewer of Austin, Texas; son-in-law, M.B. Mross of Little Rock; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. today in Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel at Paragould with James Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time in the funeral home.
Kenneth E. McCandless
POCAHONTAS — Kenneth E. McCandless, 41, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009.
He was born March 22, 1967.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Frances Bickford.
He is survived by his wife, Pattie McCandless; son, Dillion Wilkerson; daughter, Stephanie Searcy; two grandchildren, Siera and Blake Searcy; one brother, John McCandless; two sisters, Jima Junkersfeld and Angela Thielmier; father, Danny McCandless; and stepfather, Jack Bickford, all of Pocahontas; and one sister, Alina Simpson of Mammoth Spring.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Charter Oak Cemetery
with Ron Elston officiating under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
James O’Dell
DYESS — James Royal O’Dell, 78, of Dyess died Thursday, March 5, at his home.
He was born at Tyronza and lived in Dyess for three years, moving there from Clarkedale. He was a retired farmer and a 32nd degree Mason.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise; and parents, Homer and Minnie Price O’Dell.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis O’Dell of Dyess and Paul O’Dell of Harrison; three daughters, Teri Lancaster of Iuka, Miss., Geri Elrod of Marion and Kathy Greer of Dyess; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the family’s home at Dyess with Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Burial will be private.
There is no visitation planned.
Pearlina Sparks
Nov. 8, 1935-March 5, 2009
OSCEOLA — Pearlina Sparks, 73, of Osceola died Thursday at SMC Regional Medical Center.
Born at Millington, Tenn., she was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Sparks; and her parents, Albert Fisher and Janie Piggee.
Survivors include her grandson, Little Robert Jenning; sister, Lena Mae Moore; brothers, Frankie Lee Byrd and Robert Byrd; and nephews, Willie Byrd, Robert Lee Jeanings, Robert Lee Washington and Frankie Byrd.
Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in Wilson’s Osceola Funeral Home.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John full Gospel Church with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery
at Evadale.
