James Roscoe Harris
James Roscoe Harris, 44, of Ward, Arkansas died Monday, November 24, 2003. He is survived by his wife Linda Harris; two daughters, Misty Poe of Ward, Arkansas and Danielle Harris of Cabot, Arkansas; one sister, Linda Kay Ramsey of Kansas City, Kansas; two brothers, Ricky Harris of Monett, Missouri and Jackie Harris of Carthage, Texas; one grandson, Cameron Wayne Poe; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Monett Church of Christ in Monett, Missouri Friday, November 28, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation arrangements by Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
Benny L. Bowers
Benny L. Bowers, 67, of Mabelvale, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2003.
He was an employee of the Arkansas State Highway Department for six years. For 25 years he owned Southwest Office Machine Company. He was a member of the Arkansas Street Rod Association.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Bowers; his son, Mike Bowers of North Little Rock; four daughters, Jeanne Garrett of Bryant, Carol Bowers of Little Rock, Jerri Kay Reynolds of Mabelvale, and Tracy Williams of Cabot; two sisters, Sally Westbrook of Wichita, Kan., and Becky Stricklin of North Little Rock; and 10 grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003 at Roller-Drummond Southwest Chapel with burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Linda Sue Murphy
Linda Sue Finney Murphy, of Cabot, died Nov. 18, 2003, following a courageous fight with the ravages of cancer.
Linda is survived by her husband, Bob, of the home; one daughter, Regina of Emporia, Kan.; one son, John, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 3 grandchildren; five sisters; two brothers.
Following a 16 year career with the U. S. Postal Service, Linda became a customer service representative for Bancroft Cap Company.
Funeral service was held at Cabot United Methodist Church with Rev. Lowell Eaton officiating, assisted by Rev. Rick Meadows.
A gift to the American Cancer Society in honor of Linda Murphy will be appreciated.
Eleanor E. Angus
Eleanor E. Angus, 88, of Cabot died Nov. 17, 2003.
Survivors are her daughter, Jan Jewell of Cabot; and a granddaughter.
Graveside services were Nov. 20, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery
with arrangements by Cabot Funeral Home.

Nathaniel Jackson Sr., 63, of Carlisle, died Nov. 17, 2003.
Survived by wife, Patsy Jackson; sons, Randy Fuller of Beebe, Donnie, Billy, Joe Jackson, all of Carlisle, Gary Jackson of North Little Rock, Michael Jackson of Pine Bluff, Craig Jackson of West Monroe, La.; daughters, Doris Henson of North Little Rock, Donna Crudup of Jackson; brother, Herman Jackson of Carlisle; sisters, Emma Bell of Chicago, Ill., Retha McGhee of Des Arc, Dorothy Gray, Reloa Jones, Carrie Burnett, all of Carlisle.
Funeral services were Nov. 22, at Mt. Zion in Carlisle. Services entrusted to Hubble Funeral Home.
Winnie S.Folsom
Winnie Sarah Folsom, 99, of Lonoke, formerly of North Little Rock, died, Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003.
She was a member of Levy United Methodist Church and life member of Order of the Eastern Star in Plymouth, Mich.
She is survived by son, William Folsom of Lonoke: sister, Opal Pollard of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were Nov. 22, at Edgewood Memorial Park. Roller-Owens Funeral Home was in charge.
Harry Wayne Sowell
Harry Wayne Sowell, 84, formerly of Austin, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003 in Six Lake, Michigan. He retired after 30 years as a Boiler Room Attendant at Fort Routs VA Hospital in North Little Rock.
He is survived by his wife, Laurine; daughters Ginger Wimburly and husband, Gary of Little Rock and Gail Ferguson and husband, Forest of Tenn.; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Clyde Peters
Clyde Peters, 82, of Cabot, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003. He was a retired truck driver, a Baptist, a Mason, a Rainbow Dad and an Army Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline; sons Jerry Horn and wife, Jaunita, of Cabot and Gene Horn and wife, Gloria, of Russellville; daughters Dee Tanner of Olympia, Wash., Kitty Weathers of Cabot, and Linda Lorenz of Higden; brother Jim Peters of San Jose, Calif.; sisters Cordia Serett of McRae and Eunice Sanford of Sunnyvale, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Monday, Dec. 1, at Westbrook Chapel, with burial in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.

Espa Juanita Walmsley, 86, of Cabot and formerly of White County, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003.
Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 1st at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Interment was in the Shady Grove Cemetery
at Bald Knob. Ahe was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by a son, Dallas Walmsley, Jr. of Cabot; three daughters, Lois Walmsley Huck of Springfield, Mo., Jimmie Sue Walmsley of Cabot and Tanji Liles of Conway; a sister, Betty Daniels of Little Rock; a brother, Walter Daniels of Sacramento, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Fred R. Michaelis, 83, of Cabot died Nov. 29, 2003. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Michaelis. He is survived by 1 son, Gordon Neal Michaelis and wife Kathy of Cabot; 1 daughter, Sheila Michaelis of Cabot; 1 sister, Meta Rauscher of MN; 2 grandchildren, Gordon N. Michaelis, Jr. and Audrianna Christine Michaelis.

Julia A. Badgett Martin Moore, 77, of Cabot, died Nov. 25, 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, William Ray Martin. She is survived by her husband, Wilburn Moore; son, Gene Martin; sister, Maggie Raby; 2 brothers, Jim and Joe Badgett; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Lloyd E. Brown, Sr.
Lloyd E. Brown, Sr., age 80 of Lonoke, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003. He was an Army Veteran of WWII. He was a POW, and received numerous awards including the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lorene Ward Brown; six sons, Lewis Brown, Buddy Brown, Marty Brown, Clyde Brown, all of Lonoke, Jack Brown of Carlisle, Dale Brown of Cabot; five daughters, Martha Piety of Hazen, Sharon Bullock of Carlisle, Shirley Evants of DeValls Bluff, Anita Jameson Channing of Texas, Barbara Loftis of Sheridan; a sister, Opal Williams of Harrison; a brother, Gene Brown of Oregon; three half brothers, Charles Lee Brown of Louisiana, Bobby Brown of Michigan and Lewis Brown of Arizona; and one half sister, Lucy Ann Bright, of Little Rock;18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service was Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Westbrook Chapel, with burial in Hicks Cemetery.
Danny Davidson
Danny Davidson, 59 died Nov. 30, 2003. He was a Veteran and member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Regina James Davidson; two stepdaughters, Hope Hollis of North Little Rock and Faith Lloyd of Carlisle; three grandchildren.

Christine Jones, 39, of North Little Rock, died Nov. 30, 2003. She is survived by her husband, David Jones; parents, E. Hadley and Dorothy Brown; 2 sisters, Luci Brown and Barbara Key; 1 brother, Gene Brown.

Thomas G. Smith
Thomas Gerald Smith, age 67, of Conway died Monday.
He graduated from the Arkansas School of the Deaf where he was All-American in track and served as SWAAD basketball coach. He was a member of the Southwest Deaf Bowling Association and treasurer of the Arkansas Association of the Deaf. He was a retired clerk with the U. S. Postal Service.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Smith of Conway; three sons, Stephen Smith of Ward, Gary Smith of Little Rock and Kevin Youngblood of Conway; one daughter, Melissa Yates of El Paso; six grandchildren; one brother, Bobby Smith of Springfield, Ill.; and two sisters, Jo Ruth Evans of Little Rock and Betty Austin of Springfield, Ill.
Services were Wednesday in the Mount Tabor Community Church with interment in Mount Tabor Cemetery
under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
