Mrs. Miller

Funeral services for Mrs. Debra Ann Goodman Pepion Miller, 47, of Jonesboro, who died Friday at her residence, will be at 11 Monday morning in the chapel of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, with Harold Ray officiating. Burial will be in Dry Creek Cemetery in Lynn.

Active pallbearers will include Dennis Goodman, David Goodman, Robert Goodman, Bobby Whitlow, Dewayne Eldridge and Jacky Eldridge.

Honorary pallbearers will be the men of the Dixie Baptist Church.

Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Mrs. Miller was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Rockford, Ill. A graduate of East High School in Rockford, she attended community college in La Salle, Ill.

Survivors include one son, Jesse Pepion of the home; two daughters, Sarah Pepion of Jonesboro and Amanda Pepion of the home, her parents, R.W. "Jr." and Levade Goodman of Jonesboro; and one sister, Melissa Ferguson of Walnut Ridge.

For individuals who wish to leave memorials, the family has asked that consideration be given to the Dixie Baptist Church or St. Bernard's Hospice.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fleszar

Mrs. Jane Elizabeth Fleszar, 62, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Paragould, died Thursday in Louisville.

Arrangements will be announced by Heath Funeral Home of Paragould.

Davis

Graveside services for John E. Davis, 72, of Augusta, who died Friday at the Woodruff County Nursing Home in McCrory, will be at 10 Monday morning at the Augusta Memorial Park Cemetery. Burial is under the direction of Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home of McCrory.

An Augusta resident his entire life, Davis served as Woodruff County judge for 30 consecutive years without opposition.

He was a longtime member of the Grace Baptist Church in Augusta and served for 25 years as a member of the Augusta Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife, Charlene Peebles Davis of the home; a stepson, Jim Foster of Cameron, Texas; a sister, Erleen Sawyer of McCrory; and two grandchildren.

For individuals who wish to leave memorials, the family has asked that consideration be given to the Grace Baptist Church in Augusta, McCrory United Methodist Church, Woodruff County Nursing Home, Woodruff County Library or to the donor's favorite charity.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 this afternoon at the funeral home.

Mrs. White

Mrs. Clara Mae White, 85, of Paragould, died Saturday at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould. Born in Gideon, Mo., she was a former nurse's aide and was of the Pentecostal belief.

Survivors include three sons, John White and David White, both of Paragould, and Eddie "Slick" White of Marmaduke; three daughters, Thelma Bradley of Jonesboro, Doris Burnett of Leachville and Lola Mizell of Paragould; one brother, Jesse Batchlar of Mt. Carmel, Ill.; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy White, and three sons.

Funeral services will be held at 1 Monday afternoon in the chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould, with Bill Bass officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held beginning at 6 Sunday evening at the funeral home.

Miss Hardy

Miss Ruth Hardy, 90, of Covington, Tenn., died Tuesday at Covington Manor Nursing Home. She had been a secretary and organist for a Methodist church in Jonesboro and was a member of the Covington Church of Christ.

There are no immediate survivors.

The body will be cremated, under the direction of Aaron Cremation and Burial Service of Memphis.

The family asks that the Covington Church of Christ be considered for lasting memorials.

Garrison

Lynes Garrison, 88, of Pollard, died Monday at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott.

He is survived by his wife, Ella McDonald Garrison of the home; and two sons, Arnold Garrison of Florissant, Mo., and Doyne Garrison of Elberson, Pa.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 at the New Hope Baptist Church in Pollard. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery, under the direction of Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott.

Visitation is scheduled for this evening at 6 at the funeral home.

Walker

Charlie Walker, 96, of Piggott, died Monday at Piggott Community Hospital. He was one of the founders of Hitts Chapel Church and was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Goldie Walker of Piggott; one son, Roy Walker of Memphis; three daughters, Nella Mae Malone of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Daronda Blevins of Piggott and St. Louis, and Ayleen Smith of Piggott and Arnold, Mo.; one sister, Flossie Parrot of Piggott; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2 this afternoon in the Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Piggott, with Dr. Richard Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Piggott Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steve Smith, Mark Smith, Stephen Smith, Henry Johnson, Rex Smart, Jerry Allman, Cameron Walker and Vernon Willie.

Honorary pallbearers will be Leon Lack and Jerry Causey.

Mrs. Agnew

Mrs. Lillie Agnew, 80, of Myrtle, Mo., died Tuesday at Shady Oaks Health Care in Thayer, Mo. She was a member of the Delhalf Church of Christ, a homemaker and was employed by Puritan Fashions in Thayer for 19 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Hart of Walnut Ridge; a son, Kenneth Agnew of Mammoth Spring; a sister Faye Gentry of Walnut Ridge; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 Thursday afternoon in Carter Funeral Home Chapel at Thayer, with Erman Croney officiating. Burial will follow in Jeff Cemetery near Thayer, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. of Thayer.

Visitation will be at noon Thursday at Carter Funeral Home Chapel at Thayer.

Mrs. Garver

Mrs. Inez Garver, 81, of Atlanta, Mich., died Tuesday at Hillman Nursing Center in Hillman, Mich. Formerly of Greenway, she was a homemaker and a member of the McDougal Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Windell Garver and Harold Garver, both of Atlanta, Mich.; a sister, Nettie Tinsley of Piggott; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Audie Garver and an infant daughter.

Funeral services will be at 11 Monday morning at the McDougal Church of Christ at McDougal.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 Sunday evening at Ermert Funeral Home at Corning.

Mrs. Crouch

Mrs. Elmer Crouch, 94, of Batesville, died Monday. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cave City United Methodist Church. She was formerly of Cave City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Crouch; by two sons, Jack Crouch and Teddy Crouch, and by one daughter, Shirley A. Crouch.

Survivors include two sons, Fred Crouch of Cave City and R.W. Crouch of St. Louis, Mo.; two daughters, Connie Doyle of Rock Island, Ill., and Mary Rembowski of Batesville; two sisters, Pearl Williams of Tuckerman and Aenon Anderson of Cave City; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10 at the Cave City United Methodist Church, with Grayden Milligan and Paul Strang officiating. Burial will follow in Ward Cemetery in Strawberry, under the direction of Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.

Active pallbearers will be Dennis Crouch, Jackie Crouch, Donald Crouch, Schadd Doyle, Dr. Randy Doyle, Mike Beasley, John King and Ronald Crouch.

Honorary pallbearers will include Floyd Milligan, Oneal Milligan, Tommy Milligan, Paul Vern Milligan, James A. Anderson, Tommy J. Williams, Van D. Sawyer, Billy George Carter, Johnny Wayne Carter, and Dr. Tom Cummins.

Visitation will be from 5 this afternoon until 8 this evening at the funeral home.
