Roy Dennis, 62, died Saturday, May 17, 2003.

Keithley S. Dunn
Keithley Steele “Keith” Dunn, 50, of Little Rock, died Saturday, May 17, 2003.
He was a member of the Crystal Hill Baptist Church, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, and a city worker at the Hindman Golf Course.
He is survived by his mother, Louise W. Dunn of Little Rock; brothers, Robert Dunn of Allen, Texas, and Richard Dunn of Cabot; sister, Rebecca D. Mullins of Mabelvale.
Funeral services were May 20, at the Crystal Hill Baptist Church, with interment in the Crystal Hill cemetery with Roller-Drummond Southwest Funeral Home in charge.

Travis E. Owens
Travis Eugene “Buddy” Owens of Austin, died Saturday, May 17, 2003.
Buddy was a professional painter for over 40 years, working in and around central Arkansas for the last 25 years.
Surviving are his wife, Loveta (Hughes) Owens of Austin; three daughters, Deborah Arlene Taylor of Roscoe, Ill., Lois Vernice Gregory of Ward, and Carolyn Sue Payne of Cabot; four sons, Wendel Ray Owens of Newberry, Fla., Kenneth Eugene Owens of Rome, Ga., Timmy Dean Owens of Gainesville, Fla., and Brian Keith Owens of Austin; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Wednesday, May 21, at Westbrook Chapel with burial in Apple Hill Cemetery, Ward.
Josephine Hastings
Josephine Munnerlyn Hastings, 91, of Batesville died May 7, 2003.
She was a retired clerk for the U.S. government, a member of First Christian Church and the Eastern Star.
Survivors are a son, Donald W. Hastings of Batesville; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was May 10 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lonoke by Willis-Hays Funeral Service.
Leon Minton
Leon Minton, age 75, of Ward, Ark., died Wednesday, May 7, 2003.
A retired dairy farmer, Leon was a member of Old Austin United Methodist Church and a 50-year member of Mt. Pleasant Masonic Lodge #99.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mildred Minton; two sons, Randy Minton and his wife Jannette of Ward and Terry Minton and his wife Suzanne of Ward; four grandchildren, Jake, Josh, Lucas and Lauren; one brother, Roy Minton of Ward.
Funeral service was Friday, May 9, 2003, at Old Austin United Methodist Church, the Reverend Richard Hughes officiating, with burial in Sylvania Cemetery. Members of Mt. Pleasant Masonic Lodge were pallbearers.

Elizabeth Jackson, age 90, of Pine Bluff, formerly of Jacksonville, died March 16, 2003.
Survivors include four daughters, Leona Branum of Granbury, Texas, Patty Appleby of Dumas, Fonda Lamont and Bonnie Yeggy, both of Pine Bluff; one son, Alfred Jackson of Pine Bluff; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were March 19, in the chapel of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home, with burial in Flynn Cemetery
in Humnoke.
Thomas Jeff Jarvis
Thomas Jeff Jarvis, age 67, died March 18, 2003.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Kirchner of Little Rock; two sisters, Mildred Plant and Rose Smith of Carlisle; and two brothers, Dwight Jarvis of Carlisle and John Jarvis of Oklahoma; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Clyde Hannah, 82, of Little Rock died Tuesday, March 18, 2003.
He was a retired Baptist minister, a Bible Scholar, and a teacher.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Norman Hannah; two daughters, Barbara Buchanan of Conway, and Donna Haynes of Little Rock; three sons, Maynard Hannah of Little Rock, Bill Hannah of Little Rock, and Pete Hannah of Cabot; one sister, Bethel Milks of Ward; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was Friday, March 21, at Pinecrest Cemetery.

Mayme Lois Tanner Raborn, 88, of Carlisle died Thursday, March 20, 2003.
She was a member of the Carlisle First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Melvin Raborn and Jerry Raborn, both of Carlisle; one daughter, Charlotte Brown of Russellville; one brother, Ralph Tanner of Ocean Side, Calif.; two sisters, Jessie Morris of Little Rock and Kathryn Smith of San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were March 22, at the First United Methodist church in Carlisle with interment, in the Old Carlisle Cemetery. Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen was in charge.

She was a retired secretary.
Surviving are two sons, Greg McDaniel of Magnolia and Terry McDaniel of Snow Mass Village, Colo.; one brother, Bill Black, and one sister, Jewell Reynolds, both of Beebe; three granddaughters.
