Frankie Lea Harrison

Frankie Lea “Sissy” Harrison, 58, of Carlisle died Sunday, March 2, 2003.

She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Harrison; son, Timmy Lloyd of Carlisle; daughter, Michelle Weir of Little Rock; brothers, Gene Kelly of Carlisle, Danny Kelly of Hazen, Freddie Kelly of Jacksonville and Pat Kelly of Waco, Texas; one sister, Donna Pearson of Vine Grove, Ky.; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were March 5, at New Bethel Baptist Church with burial in the Old Carlisle Cemetery. Westbrook Funeral Home of Hazen was in charge.

Robert Shelton Ware

Robert Shelton Ware died Feb. 24, 2003.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Smith Ware of the home; one daughter, Typhne Ware Spencer; one son, Kristopher Ware; two grandchildren; two sisters, Dr. Barbara A. Ware of Dallas, Texas, and Karen Tillman of Richardson, Texas.

He was a graduate of North Texas University, a Master Mason, and Regional Sales Manager with DSI, a division of American Media.
Donations may be made to the American Heart Association in his name.

Funeral services were Feb. 27 at Cabot Funeral Chapel with interment in Mt. Springs Cemetery.

Miriam F. Fagan

Miriam Frances Glover Fagan, 74, of Little Rock, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003.

She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock. Frances was born in Lonoke. She was a former Girl Scout Leader, PTA President at Pulaski Heights Junior High School, and she was a past junior board member of the Florence Crittenden Home. She was an early volunteer for the Little Rock Civic Ballet, the fore-runner of Ballet Arkansas. For many years she was involved with American Field Service, a foreign exchange student program.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Ellis M. Fagan III; three children, David Fagan of Scottsdale, Ariz., Fran Holmes and Warren Fagan both of Little Rock; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service was held at Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock. Private burial was at Roselawn Cemetery.

The family requests memorials be made to Second Presbyterian Church, 600 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, Ark. 72227, Arkansas Hospice, 2200 Ft. Roots Drive, North Little Rock, Ark. 72114, Shrine Hospital for Children, c/o Scimitar Shrine Temple, 1 Scimitar Circle, Little Rock, Ark. 72209 or the charity of your choice.

Thomas A. Grappe

Thomas Andrew “Andy” Grappe, 54, of Cabot, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003.
He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed by Goodyear as store manager until his retirement.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Scott Grappe; three children, Steve, Jeff, and Toni; two granddaughters; his wife, Betty Grappe; three stepchildren, Chuck, Donald and Shayne; eight sisters, Peggy Cooper of Campti, La., Patricia Hernandez of Lafayette, La., Barbara Palmer of Picayune, Miss., Ruth Eaves of Natchitoches, La., Mary Sue Jagers of Panola, Texas, Teresa Delatin and Monica Grappe both of Shreveport, La., Beverly Rabalais of Anacoco, La.; two brothers, Buford Grappe of Campti, La., and Ron Grappe of Houston, Texas.
Arkansas services were March 1, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Campti Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, La.
Donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.

Harold Holmes

Harold Holmes, 70, of Lonoke died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003.
Survived by his wife, Cuba Lane Holmes; seven stepdaughters; and three stepsons.

Memorial service was held Sunday at Lincoln Plaza Nursing Center in Lonoke followed by graveside service in Carlisle Cemetery.
Arrangements by Westbrook Funeral Home of Hazen.

Agnes L. Chillinsky

Agnes Langer Chillinsky, age 87, of Cabot, formerly of Chula Vista, Calif., died Saturday, March 1, 2003.

She was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville.
Surviving are one son, Michael Joseph Chillinsky of Escondido, Calif.; two daughters, Louise Schworm of Canton, Ohio, and Dolly Wagner of Cabot; three brothers, Peter Langer of Logans Ferry Heights, Pa., John Langer of Arnold, Pa., and Bernard Langer of New Kensington, Pa.; four sisters, Carolyn Strenkowski of Lower Burrell, Pa., Margaret “Marge” Langer of Logans Ferry Heights, Pa., Anna Mae DeMao of Arnold, Pa., and Alice Weber of New Kensington, Pa.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral was March 4, at Westbrook Chapel, Beebe.

Memorials may be made to Baptist Hospice, 3333 Springhill Drive, North Little Rock, Ark. 72117-2922.

Bessie Rogers

Bessie Rogers of Cabot, 87, formerly of Oden, died Friday, Feb. 28, 2003.

She attended First Baptist Church of Cabot and was a lifelong member of Oden Baptist Church in Oden.

Funeral services were March 4, at Oden Baptist Church with burial at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine Ridge. Beasley-Wood Funeral Home in Mena was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a sister, Eunice Mote of Oakhurst, Calif.; sons, Larry Rogers of Cabot and Kenneth Rogers of Visalia, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pat L. Berdikoski

Pat L. Berdikoski, 82, of North Little Rock, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in North Little Rock and the Arkansas #1 Good Sam’s Club. She was owner/operator of Pat’s Beauty Shop and office manager for Berdikoski’s Garage.
She is survived by her husband, Frank W. Berdikoski Jr. of North Little Rock; two daughters, Dianne Burchell of Cabot and Janice L. Giggleman of Benton; and five grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 5025 Lynch Drive, North Little Rock, Ark. 72117.

Funeral services were Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.

Lucy Y. McRoberts

Lucy Yeary McRoberts, age 94, of North Little Rock, died Feb. 26, 2003.

A native of Lonoke, she had lived in North Little Rock for 75 years. She was retired from Stephens Inc., and was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church, the North Little Rock Women’s Club and the North Little Rock Garden Club.

She is survived by her daughter Adasu Martin; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; stepsons, Jackie McRoberts and Jimmy Peterson; stepdaughter, Donna Hauser; and several step-grandchildren.

Funeral was March 1, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel .

Mae Geralds

Mae White Geralds, of Cabot, died Friday in Little Rock.

She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Miller, and one son, Stan White; one sister, Virginia Bailey; three step-grandchildren; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral was March 3 at Cabot Funeral Chapel.

Eunice Lunsford

Eunice Emmerling Lunsford, 83, of Morrilton died Feb. 25, 2003.

She is survived by her husband, Amos Lunsford; one daughter, Letha Tasler of Cabot; three sons, Doyle Wilson of Little Rock, Carl Wilson of North Little Rock, and Steve Wilson of Springdale; one sister, Agnes Wood; two brothers, Glenn and Floyd Emmerling; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.

Funeral services were Feb. 28 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel in Conway with burial at Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy.
