Kelly Stauber
Kelly Stauber, 71, of Carlisle died Dec. 8, 2002.
He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, a veteran of the 
Korean War, past president of Carlisle Lions Club, clerk treasurer of the city of Carlisle for 21 years and cost accountant for Remington Arms in Lonoke 22 years.
Survivors are his wife, Mary Alice Stauber of Carlisle; a daughter, Ruth Holmes of Lonoke; a granddaughter; a son, Garry Stauber of California; a sister, Dorothy Pearson of Stuttgart; and three grandsons.
Funeral was Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Carlisle Cemetery.
Broderic Davis
Broderic Davis, 22, of England, formerly of Little Rock, died Nov. 20, 2002.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Otey; father, Calvin Davis; grandfather, Aubry Davis; sisters, Valerie Scaife, Kendra McKinley and Karena Jones.
Funeral was Friday at Church of Christ in England by Wilson Funeral Home.
Richard Webb
Richard Webb, 44, of England died Nov. 30, 2002.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Webb; son, Broderick Givens; grandmother, Clara Barnes; three stepsons; two brothers; five sisters.
Funeral was Saturday at East Macedonia Baptist Church, England, with burial in Springfield Cemetery, Seaton. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge.
Homer E. Brooks Jr.
Homer Edward Brooks Jr., 72, of Cabot died Dec. 4, 2002.
He was a past master of Holyrood Lodge in Florida and was retired from the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include six children, Homer Brooks III, Elizabeth Perkins, Mitchell Brooks, Robert Brooks, Debbie Taulbee, and Shirley Finley; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral was Dec. 8 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
Carol Etta Stephens
Carol Etta Stephens, of Sherwood, died Dec. 17, 2002 at the age of 77.
Mrs. Stephens was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, James Stephens; one son, Carl Stephens of Bossier City, La.; one daughter Cindy Miller Rick of Sherwood; three grandchildren.
A celebration of her life was held Friday, Dec. 20, 2002 at Griffin-Leggett-Rest Hills Chapel, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock.

Ida Liles Dodson
Ida Liles Dodson, widow of Homer Dodson, of Beebe, died Dec. 19, 2002. She was 98. She was the last living descendent of James and Mattie Harrison Liles.
Survivors are one son, Everette Dodson of Beebe, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren..
Funeral was Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, at Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Weir Cemetery, McRae.

Krystal Marks
Krystal Marks, 25, of Cabot died Dec. 18, 2002.
She is survived by her father, mother, stepfather, grandparents, three sisters and three brothers.
Services were held at Cabot Funeral Home Saturday.
James C. Buford Jr.
Ret. SMSGT. James Carl Buford, Jr., age 70, died Dec. 17, 2002.
He served in the Air Force for 21 years, serving in Vietnam, Taiwan, England and Germany, and other numerous locations around the world, retiring in 1997.
Survivors are Jo, his wife of 47 years; two daughters, Jackie Fowler of Cabot, and Jennie Mundy of Jacksonville; brother Johnny Buford of Rome, Ga.; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
He was a member of Sugarloaf Baptist Church in Heber Springs.
The family planned a private memorial service in Heber Springs.

Laura Ruth Butler
Laura Ruth Stoddard Butler, age 91, went to be with our Lord Dec. 19, 2002.
Granny, as she was affectionately called by her family and many friends, had the gift of hospitality, love and caring for others. A retired schoolteacher, she taught for the Lonoke Elementary School District 45 years, in which she touched so many lives.
She is survived by one son, James Duane Butler and his wife Patricia of Lonoke; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was a Baptist.
Services were Saturday at Boyd Funeral Home chapel, Lonoke, with interment in Brownsville Cemetery.
Elsie Marie Jones
Elsie Marie Vann Griffin Jones of North Little Rock, died Dec. 17, 2002.
She was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. She was a 34-year member of the Ladies Auxiliary Fleet Reserve Association.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Seburn J. Jones of North Little Rock; sister, Lily Mae Champlin; brother, Faber Vann, both of Cabot; brother, Pete Vann of North Little Rock; son, Gary Griffin of Fredericksburg, Texas; three daughters, Sybil Taylor of Cabot, Carolyn King of Austin, Dana Heyd of Lake Charles, La.; nine grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Dec. 20, at Faith Missionary Baptist Church on Camp Robinson Road with graveside services afterwards at Mt. Carmel Cemetery
in Cabot.
Memorials may be made to Baptist Hospital Hospice.
Jerrell C. Rowland
Jerrell C. Rowland, 38, of Hampton, died Dec. 16, 2002.
He was the owner and operator of Rowland’s Body Shop in Camden and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Hampton.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Rowland of Hampton; son, Tommy Rowland of Hampton; daughters, Katie Rowland and Taylor Rowland both of Hampton; parents, Charles and Melba Tomlinson of Hampton and Tommy Joe Rowland and Sheila Rowland of Smackover; sisters, April Bevis of Cabot, Melody Tomlinson of Shreveport, and Catherine Lee of Smackover; brother, Greg Tomlinson of Hampton; and grandparents, Jim and Mattie Jo Dalby of Smackover and Louise Bryant of Hampton.
Funeral services were Friday at the First Assembly of God Church in Hampton with burial in Liberty Cemetery
in Louann.
Proctor Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
