Mickey McKee
Mickey McKee, 72, of Cabot, and former resident of Woodruff County area, died Sunday, March 10, 2002.
Thompson-Wilson Funeral Homes of McCrory and Wynne were in charge of private family services.
He was a retired production manager from both Revere of Newport and Southern Coating and Nameplate of Sherwood. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and belonged to the Arkansas Bikers, Motorcycle Freedom and Arkansas Motorcycle Association.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy McKee of the home; one daughter, Laurie Coe of Newport.
Memorials may be made to the Jackson County or Pulaski County Humane Society.

Glenna D. Alexander
Glenna Dee Alexander, age 52, of Cabot passed away Monday, March 11, 2002.
She was an active member of Old Austin United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Levi McKenzie.
She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Levis M. Alexander of the home; two daughters, Maycelle Gibbins, Sonja Glaze (Bryan) of Cabot; two sons, Mack Alexander of Perkinston, Miss., Whitney Alexander of San Jose, Calif.; mother, Opal McKenzie of Lonoke; one sister, Lana Williams of Conroe, Texas; two brothers, Douglas McKenzie of Arizona City, Ariz., Norman McKenzie of Rustburg, Va.; five grandchildren, Jamie and Jesse Gibbins, Taylor and Cameron Glaze and Chris Alexander.
Services were at 2 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2002, at Old Austin United Methodist Church. Interment, Old Austin Cemetery. Arrangements by Cabot Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 901 North University Ave., Little Rock, AR 72207 or Baptist Hospice, 11900 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, AR 72210.
Avis Crowder
Avis Emmaline “Emmie” Langston Crowder, 83, of Lonoke died Wednesday.
Survivors: sons, James Arnold Crowder, Jerry B. Crowder; one daughter, Ruth Dell Guida of Boston; sisters, Verda Langston Cole, Kathryn Knight; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was Saturday, March 16, in Graceland Cemetery by Cranford Funeral Home.

Ethel Mae Carman
Ethel Mae Carman, 77, Prescott, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002.
She was a retired nursing home cafeteria worker. She was a member of Park Missionary Baptist Church, Prescott.
Her survivors include two sons, Tommy Carman of Cabot, and Bill Carman of Bluff City; one daughter, Ann Shupienus of Alexandria, Va.; one brother, Tommy Snyder, Houston, Texas; three sisters, Estelle Hubble, Newberry Park, Calif., Wanda Jones, Thousand Oaks, Calif., Elsie Spence, Maynard, Mass.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were March 16, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel, Prescott. Burial was in Sweet Home Cemetery, Hempstead County.

Arlon Aaron
Arlon “Pete” Aaron, 69, formerly of Benton, died March 16, 2002.
Survivors include his wife, Laura; daughter, Melna Berryman of Mabelvale; son, Arlon Aaron Jr. of Spiro, Okla.; sister, Mary Stracner of England; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday at Boyd Chapel with interment in Hicks Cemetery by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.

Carolyn Sled
Carolyn Elizabeth Sled, age 59, of Crossett, died Saturday, March 16, 2002.
She was a member of South Main Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Sled of Crossett; two sons, Greg Sled of Cabot and Glen Sled of Crossett; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were March 18, at South Main Baptist Church. Burial was in Hickory Grove Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.

Pat Johnson
Pat Hubern Johnson, age 66, of Ward, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002.
He was a retired Sgt. First Class with the United States Army (ASA) — NSA division with 22 years service receiving honors such as the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Meritorious Service, Air Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, and numerous commendation awards.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Amelia Rosas Johnson of the home; daughter, Dana Johnson of San Antonio, Texas; son, Pat Johnson II of Floyd; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services were March 19, at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements by Cabot Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association of Little Rock, 909 W. 2nd St., Little Rock, AR 72201.

S.D. Fugatt
S.D. “Blackie” Fugatt, age 66, of Jacksonville, died March 15, 2002.
He was the former owner of Blackie’s Plumbing Company.
He is survived by daughter, Karen Sue Raborn of Little Rock; two stepsons, Johnnie Wayne Potts of Little Rock, and Miles Dewayne Dillion of Hensley; stepdaughters, Sandra Lynn Sloan of West Blockton, Ala., Tammy Alsup of Jacksonville; six sisters, Rose Lee Vaughn of Adrian, Mich., Dorothy Smith of Pacific, Mo., Stella Russell of Lonoke, Kay Harvey of Jacksonville, Connie Adams of Little Rock, Kathy Arnold of Atlanta, Ga.; five brothers, Gene of Gallatin, Tenn., Dean of Wichita, Kan., Terry of Albuquerque, N.M., Ricky of Jacksonville, and Jeff Fugatt of Lonoke; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were March 19, in the chapel of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home. Burial was in Sulphur Rock Cemetery in Sulphur Rock.

Wayne Thomas
Wayne Thomas, 74, of Austin passed away Friday, March 15, 2002.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Sallie Thomas; and a brother, John Thomas.
Survivors include his wife, Olga Thomas of Austin; children, Sherryl Brewer, Rocky (Jackie) Thomas, Keith (Nancy) Thomas, all of Austin, Brett (Lori) Thomas of Dardanelle; sister, Pauline Greene of Alaska; grandchildren, Kasey Thomas, Stephanie Sowell, Aja Thomas, Leslie Brewer, Christie Allen, Cari Apple.
Service was 2 p.m. Monday, March 18, at Cabot Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Old Austin Cemetery.

William Razer
William Paul Razer, 84, of Bradford died Saturday.
Survivors: his wife of 53 years, Frances Ruth Razer; son, Bruce Razer of Cabot; daughters, Marsha Hamm of Conway and Ann Carrell of Fayetteville; and six grandchildren.
Funeral was Tuesday at Oakland Free Will Baptist Church. Interment, Oakland Cemetery. Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Lisa Wyles
Lisa Lynette Wyles, age 39, died in Dover.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her children, Scott Wyles of North Little Rock, Bradley Wyles of Russellville and Trisha Wyles of Benton; her parents, Kenneth and Shirley Matthews of Lonoke; her sister, Melinda Sullivan of North Little Rock; her maternal grandmother, Oleta McBride of Lonoke; and a grandchild.
Graveside services were March 18, at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, North Little Rock, was in charge.

Katheryn Weeks
Katheryn Weeks, age 76, of Austin, died Thursday, March 14, 2002.
She was a member of Baugh Chapel Baptist Church and the Sixteenth Section Good Neighbors Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Ruby Chamblee of Austin, and Pat Dennis of Kotzebue, Alaska; two sisters, Magdalene Morphew of Cabot, and Ruby Spencer of Austin.
Funeral was Saturday, March 16, at Baugh Baptist Church, with burial in Sixteenth Section Cemetery by Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe
