Kelly
No funeral services have been planned for Roy Kelly, 92, of Jonesboro. But a memorial service will be held at a later date. Announcement of that will be by Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Kelly died Sunday morning at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Carbondale, Ill., he had lived in Jonesboro since March. He was a retired electrician and had worked with Granite City Steel Co. and was formerly of Phoenix, Ariz.
He is survived by three sons, Bob Kelly of Jonesboro, Vincent Kelly of St. Louis and George Kelly of Oak Grove, Mo.
Mrs. Wisdom
Mrs. Farrell Oleta Wisdom, 77, formerly of Jonesboro, died Tuesday at her home in Germantown, Tenn. A native of Rosebud, she had lived in Atlanta before moving to Jonesboro in 1953. A member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, she attended the First Methodist Church of Jonesboro for more than 40 years. She was active in the Jonesboro Junior Auxiliary, in addition to several garden and bridge clubs. She also had served in several offices in the Craighead-Poinsett Medical Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Randy Wisdom of Germantown and Mark Wisdom of Longview, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Gretchen Evans of Rosebud and Mrs. Eulearl Godfrey of Rogers; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Durwood Wisdom, and a brother and a sister.
Graveside services will be Thursday morning at 10 at the Jonesboro Memorial Park, with Rev. Fred Haustein and Bill Painter officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Wisdom, Randy Wisdom Jr., Todd Tidswell, Mark Joyner, Randy Wisdom and Mark Wisdom.
Visitation will be this evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
The family asks that persons wishing to leave a lasting memorial consider the First United Methodist Church of Jonesboro.
Mrs. DeClue
Mrs. Fay DeClue, 80, of Salem, died Monday at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Murley Lee DeClue of Salem; three daughters, Elaine Burback of Canton, Mich., Linda Krieger of St. Joseph, Mich., and Arlene DeClue of Watervliet, Mich.; a sister, Marie Trout of Clarkston, Mich.; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1 this afternoon in the chapel of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, with Warren Newman officiating. Burial will follow in Wiseman Cemetery.
Phipps
Tom B. Phipps, 91, of Walnut Ridge, formerly of Bono, died Wednesday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge. A native of Swifton, he was the owner and operator of the Phipps Exxon Service Station in Bono for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Jonesboro.
He is survived by a son, Hubert Phipps of Jonesboro; three daughters, Virginia Neece and Maxine Davis, both of Walnut Ridge, and Bonnie Caples of Bono; a half-sister, Pat Brumbley of Dayton, Texas; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Belle Wallin, a son and a daughter.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie.
Hudson
Willie Hudson, 82, of Winamac, Ind., died Monday at Fort Myers, Fla. Born at Walnut Ridge, he was a retired electrician and member of the Assembly of God.
Survivors include two sons, Darrell Hudson of Fort Myers, Fla., and Jerry Hudson of Portage, Ind.; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Bellah Hudson.
Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 3 at House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge, with Rev. Keith Marlin officiating. Burial will follow at Lawrence Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 1:30 until time of services at the funeral home.
Miss Monroe
Miss Helen Monroe, 79, of Walnut Ridge, died Wednesday at her home following a lengthy illness. She was a homemaker and a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Cleatus Monroe Jr. of Walnut Ridge and Ira Monroe of Saint Charles, Mo.
Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 2 at Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie, with Glenn Campbell officiating. Burial will be at Lawrence Memorial Park.
Visitation will be this evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
Garver
Donald L. Garver, 71, of Wynne, died Sunday at the North Western Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Ill. He was a machinist.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Garver of the home; a daughter, Cathy Robertson of Sedro Woolley, Wash.; a son, Tim Garver of Honolulu, Hawaii; two brothers, Sheldon Garver of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Tom Garver of Indianapolis, Ind.; and a grandson.
Funeral services will be this afternoon at 2 at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home of Wynne, with Rev. Rick Seaton officiating. Burial will be in the Vanndale Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Dobber Cansler, Herman Miller, Glen Peeler, Ed Prather, Rick Prather and William Prather. Honorary pallbearers will include grandson Aaron Curatolo.
For lasting memorials the family requests that consideration be given to the American Heart Association.
Mrs. Wildrick
Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Maxine Combs Wildrick, 79, of Imboden, who died Tuesday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge, will be Friday morning at 10 at Higginbotham Funeral Service of Walnut Ridge, with Rev. Joe Loghry officiating. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery
in Imboden.
She was an employee of the Cinch Company in Pocahontas for 10 years. She was the former president of the Lawrence County Extension Homemakers Club and was a member Order of the Eastern Star. She had worked as a nursing assistant and as a volunteer for the Portia School for Exceptional Children.
Survivors include one daughter, Cookie Melton of Jonesboro; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Burchell Wildrick and by one son, six brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be this afternoon from 5 until 8 this evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Roach
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Gray Doran Roach, 89, of Lubbock, Texas, will be held this morning at 10 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home chapel in Jonesboro, with Dr. Johnny G. Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery
at Jonesboro.
Pallbearers will be Troy Sheets, W.G. Smith, Phillip Cole, Tony Futrell, Staton Foltz, Ray Blevins, Mike Pryor and Bill Hansard.
Honorary pallbearers will include Vera Ackerman, Audie Davidson, Edness Futrell, Frances Lyon, Prudence Willey, Edith Atkerson, Fay Dickens, Ava Lawson and Faye Matthews.
Mrs. Roach died Monday at Heritage Oaks Nursing Center in Lubbock. A native of Jonesboro, she graduated from high school in Palmerville, Tenn., where she was captain of the basketball team. She was a homemaker and member of Highland Drive Baptist Church, as well as a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Jane Hodgkins of Ransom Canyon, Texas; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Roach.
Mrs. Gillanders
Mrs. Barbara Lois Gillanders, 62, of Jonesboro, died Oct. 23 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Detroit, Mich., she had lived in Kingsville, Texas, before moving to Jonesboro in 1984. She was a retired teacher at Blytheville West Junior High School and a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church, the Olive and Nettleton chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Queen Ann Court Order of the Amaranth.
Survivors include her husband, J. David Gillanders of the home; two daughters, Kendra Marie Coggins of Qulin, Mo., and Tara Zabrina Gillanders of Jonesboro; one brother, Scott Laneheart of Brighton Township, Mich.; one sister, JoAnn Laneheart of Indianapolis, Ind.; and one grandson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 at the St. Paul United Methodist Church, with Micheal Sutton officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Hays
Col. William L. Hays, 75, of 2312 Shoshoni in Jonesboro, died Tuesday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 at the Emerson Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel.
Lane
Earl Lane, 79, of Corning, died Tuesday in St. Joseph's Regional Health Center in Hot Springs. He was born at Datto, was a self-employed mechanic and a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Corning. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Lane, a sister and two brothers.
Survivors include two sons, Darrell Lane of Corning and Doug Lane of Success; two daughters, Kathy Leach of Hot Springs and Debbie White of Corning; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 in the chapel of Ermert Funeral Home in Corning, with Rev. Wayne Baldwin and Rev. David Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Corning Cemetery.
