Junious R. Williams

Junious Ray Williams, 80, of Little Rock, died Jan. 31, 2003.

He was of the Baptist faith, and was retired from the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Williams; stepdaughter, Bobby Jean Eaves; three brothers, Doyne and Russell Williams, both of Florida, and Don Williams of Little Rock; and sister, Dorothy Jordan of Benton.

Funeral services were Monday at Huson Funeral Home Chapel, 6400 Mabelvale Pike, Little Rock. Interment was in Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.

Elizabeth Hiddleson

Elizabeth K. Hiddleson, 101, of Cabot, died Jan. 31, 2003.

She is survived by a son, William P. Hiddleson; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren ; one great-great-grandchild.

Elizabeth will be buried in Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster, Calif., at a later date.

Robin W. Dittmann

Robin William Dittmann, 64, died Jan. 28, 2003.

Survivors are a brother, Allen K. Dittmann of Long Valley, N.J.; stepdaughter, Debbie Adams of Yellville; and a cousin, Opal Latimer of Lonoke.

Graveside services were Saturday, at Vilonia Cemetery. Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke, was in charge.

Bruce Druckenmiller

Bruce Eldon Druckenmiller of Maumelle died Jan. 25, 2003 at the age of 60.
He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, served during the Vietnam War and received three Bronze Stars, the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Mary D. Druckenmiller; his son, Brian Druckenmiller of Cabot; two daughters, Laurie Druckenmiller of Benton and Sharon Lynn Ventura of Valrico, Fla.; six grandchildren; one sister, Eleanor Marsh of Macungie, Pa.; two brothers, Fredrick Druckenmiller of Pennsylvania and Roy Druckenmiller of Cape Coral, Fla.

A memorial service was held Feb. 1, at Griffin-Leggett-Rest Hills Chapel, North Little Rock.

Memorials may be made in his honor to the Arkansas Cancer Research Center Foundation, c/o Voff Blass, 4301 W. Markham St. #623, Little Rock, Ark. 72205.

Haskell Fortson

Haskell “Hack” Fortson, 72, of North Little Rock died Jan. 29, 2003.
He was a retired roofing contractor.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine McManus Fortson; mother, Lois Fortson; three sons, Gary Fortson, Steve Fortson and Michael Fortson; two daughters, Cyndie Van Portfliet and Judy Fortson Peterson; sister, Patricia Rebsamen; stepchildren, Gayle Kidd, Rory McManus, Dee Dee McManus Engle; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral was Feb. 1, at Huson Funeral Home, Sherwood, with burial following at Edgewood Cemetery.

Marla J. Bierman

Marla J. Bierman, 46, of Cabot, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Bierman of the home; four sons, Matthew Bierman of Nashville, Ill., Mark Bierman of Austin, Lieutenant Kenny Bierman of San Antonio, Texas, and Todd Bierman of Cabot; one sister, Marilyn Reed of Sugar Grove, Va.; two brothers, John Nelson of Waltonville, Ill., and Frankie Nelson of Salem, Ill.; two grandchildren.

Memorial service was Jan. 30 at Cabot Funeral Chapel with interment in Illinois. Arrangements by Cabot Funeral Home.

Quincey E. Walker

Quincey Eugene Walker, age 72, of Carlisle died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003.
He was a retired farmer.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Margie Walker ; three daughters, Linda Walker and Tara Reitz both of Carlisle and Janet Hurt of Benton; one son, Travis Walker of Carlisle; three brothers, Ted Rhoden of North Little Rock, John Rhoden and Larry Rhoden both of Scott; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday at Hamilton Methodist Church with interment in Hamilton Cemetery by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.

Powell W. Cofer

Powell W. Cofer, 87, of Beebe died Jan. 29, 2003.

He was a retired civilian employee at Little Rock Air Force Base, and a deacon at Union Valley Baptist Church.

Survivors are a son, Jerry Cofer of Beebe; daughters, Sylvia Matthews of Conway and Audrey Tobin of Oskaloosa, Iowa; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Funeral was Feb. 2 at Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Floyd.

Memorials may be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 1165, Searcy, 72145.

Pete Dalmut

Pete Dalmut, 92, of Cabot, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003. He was a member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Hartford, a maintenance supervisor for 35 years for U.S. Forest Service and a World War II Army Veteran.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary K. Neumeier of Cabot; son, Pete M. Dalmut of Springfield, VA.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Baptist Hospice or Vision 2000 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church by Rev. Warren Harvey. Interment will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, in Hartford Memorial Park, Hartford.

Vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home.

Guy Corter

Guy Corter, 72, died April 22, 2003.

He was a member of Brownsville Assembly of God Church.

Survivors are his wife, Flossie Sexton Corter of the home; children, Tony Corter of Carlisle, Rick Corter of Viola and Alice Cartwright of Viola; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, William and Paul Corter of Mountain View; sisters, Dessie Moody of Trumann and Gwen Thompson of Batesville.

Funeral was Thursday at Immanual Baptist Church in Carlisle, with Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke in charge.

Committal service was held at Levisy Flat Cemetery in Mountain View.

Loyd Henry Hicks Jr.

Loyd Henry (Bo) Hicks Jr., 64, of Lonoke died April 28, 2003.
He was retired from Ben M. Hogan Construction Co. after 37 years, and also worked for Ammonia Hold Inc. in Lonoke.
Survivors are his sister, Jemima S. Parnell of Lonoke.

Graveside service was April 30 at Lonoke Cemetery by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.

Olden Murry

Olden Murry, 80, of De Valls Bluff, owner and operator of Murry’s Catfish Restaurant, died Monday, April 21, 2003.

RaiMundo Holloway, FSP and McNeal Funeral Home Inc. of Brinkley held services Saturday, April 26, at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in De Valls Bluff with burial in Oakland Cemetery.
