Lundry

Delbert Leeroy Lundry, 88, of West Plains, Mo., a former resident of Mammoth Spring and Randolph County, died Monday at the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. Born at Salem, Mo., he was a retired logger and wood cutter.

Survivors include 10 sons, Everett Leeroy Lundry of Thayer, Mo., Kerry Lee Lundry of Mammoth Spring, Terry Ray Lundry Sr., and Jeffery Glenn Lundry of West Plains, Jonatham Edward Lundry of Cherokee Village, Joe Edward Johnson of Hardy, Johnny Johnson, Jack George Lundry, Jimmie Wayne Lundry and Bobbie Lee Lundry, all of Pocahontas; six daughters, Virginia Frances Wolf and Patsy Ann Westen of Pocahontas, Nina Faye Jones of St. Louis, Mo., Bertha Gaylene Wilkerson of West Plains, Ivy Arleen Morris and Cynthia Jean Rogers, both of Mammoth Spring; one sister, Faye Belle of Salem, Mo.; 51 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six brothers, three sisters and four sons.

Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10 in the chapel of Clary Funeral Home in Mammoth Spring, with Rev. Greg Reeder officiating. Burial will be in the Field Creek Cemetery in Mammoth Spring.

Visitation will be at the funeral home prior to service time Friday morning. Family visitation will be from 6 to 9 this evening at the funeral home.

Chrisco

Funeral services for Duane B. Chrisco, 74, of Monette, who died Monday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center, will be held at 10 this morning at the Monette Church of Christ, with Chuck Pike officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

He was a retired supervisor for General Motors in Flint, Mich., and a member of the Monette Church of Christ. He was also a member of Caraway Masonic Lodge No. 733, the American Legion and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Darlene Chrisco of the home; one son, Carey Chrisco of Birmingham, Ala.; two brothers, Johnny Chrisco of Huntsville, Ala., and Lanny James of Monroe, La.; two sisters, Donna Stewart of West Memphis and Sandra Prince of Linden, Mich.; his stepmother, Louise Chrisco of Black Oak; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Paragould Children's Home.

Malone

Graveside services for Russell Dale Malone, 45, of Lake City, who died Nov. 20, will be held at 2 this afternoon at the Pine Log Cemetery, with Rev. Garry Wiles officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.

A resident of Lake City for the past two years, he was retired from the Navy and was of the Methodist belief.

Survivors include one daughter, Elaine Malone of California; two brothers, Dewaine Malone of Lake City and Johnny Malone of Jonesboro; and two sisters, Diane McClung and Darla Sharp, both of Lake City.

Cornish

Gary Cornish, 56, of Monette, died Wednesday morning at his home.

A lifetime resident of Monette, he was a member of the Monette First Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of the Monette Masonic Lodge No. 558.

He is survived by his wife, Deloris Cornish of the home; two daughters, Becky Keith of Bay and Connie Givens of Marion; his mother, Opal Cornish of Leachville; six sisters, Anna Marion Johnson of Cardwell, Mo., Loretta Cude of Leachville, Linda Womack of Jonesboro, Pat Cook of Monette, Nona Emmons of Mount Juliet, Tenn.; three brothers, David Cornish of Rochester, N.H., Michael Cornish of Benbrook, Texas, and Rick Cornish of West Plains, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 Friday morning in the chapel of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette, with Rev. Captain Lovell officiating. Burial will follow in the Monette Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be members of the Monette Masonic Lodge No. 558.

Honorary pallbearers will include Glen Rolland, Lester Mullen, Larry Rolland, Murl Inman and Jerry Gulley.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 this evening at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette.

Mrs. Jones

Mrs. Dorothy Layton Jones, 77, of Marion, died Wednesday at Johnson Hobson Health Care in Marion. She was a retired manager of the Golden Rule store in Earle.

Survivors include five sisters, Louise Midgett of Hernando, Miss., Betty Hall of Franklin, Tenn., Nell Layton of Madison, Tenn., and Patsy Layton and Victoria Jones, both of West Memphis; and four brothers, Paul Layton of Harrison, Jerry Layton of Blytheville, John Layton of South Bend, Ind., and Herbert Ray Layton of North Easton, Mass.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.T. Jones.

Graveside services will be at 1 this afternoon in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, under the direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis.

The family has requested that consideration for memorials be given to the charity of the donor's choice.

Mrs. Cloninger

LEACHVILLE -- Mrs. Burlie Agness Cloninger, 92, of Leachville, died Tuesday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center. A homemaker, she was born in Clarksville and was of the Pentecostal belief.

Survivors include three sons, Floyd L. Cloninger of Crystal City, Mo., Earnest A. Cloninger of Oklahoma City, and Charles W. Cloninger of Leachville; two daughters, Loretta Cunningham of Monette and Mary Elias of Leachville; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by four sons and a daughter.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Howard Funeral Home in Leachville with Clarence Cornish officiating. Burial will follow at Monette Cemetery, under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.

Visitation will be held today from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Howard Funeral Home in Leachville.

Tyler

REYNO -- Charles Dewayne Tyler, 63, of Reyno, died Thursday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center. He was a farm service clerk.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Tyler of the home; his mother, Ora Tyler of Corning; a son, Charlie Tyler of West Memphis; three sisters, Francis Edwards of Corning, Wanda Harris of Reyno, and Bonnie Malkowski of Scottsdale, Mich.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Old Freewill Baptist Church at Reyno, with Leo Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Nelson Cemetery, under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home of Pocahontas.

Visitation will be held today from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jones

POCAHONTAS -- Chester Jones, 86, of Pocahontas, died Friday at his home. He was a retired carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Jones of the home; three stepsons, Clyde Davis of Lafayette, Ind., William H. Bristol of Leadwood, Mo., and John A. Bristol of Walnut Ridge; one stepdaughter, Brenda Semore of New Carlisle, Ind.; and several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nora, and a daughter.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Ermert Funeral Home chapel in Corning with Rev. Buddy Tribble officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Ridge Cemetery at Delaplaine.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Odom

WYNNE -- Clifford Odom, 78, of Wynne, formerly of Hickory Ridge, died Thursday at Cross Ridge Community Hospital in Wynne. He was a retired farmer and a member of Hickory Ridge Assembly of God.

Survivors include his wife, Juanity Hoots Odom of the home.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Graveside services will be today at 2 p.m. at Lewis Cemetery in Hickory Ridge, with Rev. Calvin Starkey officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Harold Hoots, Gene Lowry, Charles Cansler, Bill Lowry, William Besheers and Virgil Besheers.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. today until noon at the funeral home.

Morgan

HARDY -- Funeral services for Edgar Morgan, 86, of Hardy, who died at his home, will be at 10 a.m. today at the Ward Street Church of Christ in Hardy with Jack Richardson and Tom O'Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Baker Cemetery in Williford under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service of Hardy.

Pallbearers will be Faron Morgan, Toby Goodwin, Michael Morgan, Jeff Polston, Gordon Morgan Jr., and Johnny Pendarvis.

Mrs. Walker

BLYTHEVILLE -- Mrs. Carmel Lee Walker, 94, of Blytheville, died Thursday at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Blytheville and a member of First Assembly of God in Blytheville.

Survivors include one daughter, Carmel Lunsford of Rockford, Ill.; one son, Gary Wayne Walker of Simi Valley, Calif.; 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Otis Walker; two daughters, two sons, and three brothers.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Cobb Funeral Home chapel in Blytheville, with Rev. Mark Haston officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family requests that persons wishing to leave memorials consider First Assembly of God.
