Ernest Stephens
Ernest Stephens, age 83, of North Little Rock died Thursday, March 4, 2004.
He was born in Lonoke. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church, the Crusaders Bible class, and the Methodist men, AARP local chapter 693.
He is survived by his wife, Sue; three sons, Gary, Philip and James “Rusty” Stephens; one brother, Eugene E. Stephens; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Monday, March 8, 2004, at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church, North Little Rock. Interment was in Pinecrest Memorial Park, in Bryant. Roller-Owens Funeral Home was in charge.
Donations to Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church or Arkansas Hospice would be appreciated.
Barbara Oliver
Barbara Oliver, 58, of Mesick, Mich., died March 1, 2004.
Survivors are her husband of 41 years, George; two sons, two daughters and five grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, including Judge Phillip Whiteaker of Cabot.
A memorial service was held at Bethel Freewill Baptist Church, Little Rock March 6. Arrangements by Huson Funeral Home, Little Rock.
Randy W. Sherrill
Randy W. Sherrill of Sherwood died March 1, 2004, at the age of 46.
He was a member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Deresa of 25 years; two daughters, Amber and Jennifer Sherrill both of Sherwood; his parents Elvis and Pat Sherrill; two brothers, Scott Sherrill of England, and Philip Sherrill of Sherwood.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 4, at Sylvan Hills Church of Christ, Hwy. 107 and Maryland Ave. Interment will follow at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park, North Little Rock.
Claud V. Cash
Claud V. Cash, 69, of Jonesboro died Monday.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, University Heights Lions Club, Trumann Masonic Lodge #693, was past president of the Trumann Lions Club, served on the Liberty Bank Board of Directors, formerly served on the St. Bernard’s Foundation Board, past president of Midsouth Farm Equipment Dealers Association, and was a member of the Case I/H National Dealers Advisory Board. He served two terms in the Arkansas House of representatives where he was the first freshman representative to be elected to the Joint Budget Committee and he later served a term in the Arkansas Senate.
Survivors include wife, Joan Cash of the home; son, Greg Cash of Pocahontas; daughter, Jennifer Linton of Lonoke; sister, Carol White of Trumann; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service was held in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with private burial under the direction of the Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Agnes Marie Hunter
Agnes Marie Hunter, age 88 of Little Rock, died March 6, 2004.
After finishing school she moved to Detroit, married, raised her family and managed an office for Chrysler. In 1963 she returned to Arkansas. She trained for and became a Psychiatric nurse working at
the Arkansas State Hospital until her retirement in 1981.
She is survived by two daughters, Paulette Howard of Jacksonville, Rickie Lockwood of Little Rock; seven grandchildren and three great- grandchildren; one sister, Iris Blasingame of Cabot.
Visitation was Monday at Westbrook Funeral Home. Funeral service was March 9, at Ward United Methodist Church, with burial in Stoney Point Cemetery
at Beebe.
Stephen B. Barrett
Stephen Brian Barrett, 54, of Cabot died March 9, 2004.
Survivors include a daughter, Amber Leigh Barrett; and a brother, John Barrett.
A memorial service was held March 16 at Campground Union Church in Cabot, with Thomas Funeral Services in charge.

Lillian Young, 47, of Lonoke died Tuesday, March 9, 2004.
She is survived by 3 sisters, 5 brothers and 2 sons.

Travis W. Davis Sr.
Travis Wayne “Butch” Davis Sr., 56, of Cabot died March 12, 2004.
Survivors are his wife of 39 years, Evelyn “Carol” Davis; a daughter, Candy of Cabot; a son, Wayne, of Cabot; a brother, Bill Davis of North Little Rock; a sister, Carylon Kariker of Sherwood; and five grandchildren.
Funeral Will be at 11 a.m., March 18, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, with interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Services, Cabot.
Coila Jackie White
Coila Jackie White, age 77, of Sherwood, died March 14, 2004.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God of North Little Rock.
Survivors are her husband of almost 51 years, C. Randall White; two daughters, Randa Darby and Emily White; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Reeves of Florida; sisters, Mary Ellen Carter of Memphis, Pearl Alice Sullivan of Louisiana, Dorothy Stanley of Atlanta, and Helen Denas of Cabot.
Memorials may be sent to Arkansas Hospice Center, North Little Rock.
A celebration of her life was held March 16, at First Assembly of God, North Little Rock with burial at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park.
Matthew Q. Bornhoft
Matthew Quinton Bornhoft, 26, of Cabot, formerly of Harrisburg, died Tuesday.
He was currently attending Remington College.
He is survived by his wife, Danielle Bornhoft; son, Matthew Daniel Bornhoft; daughter, Karen Olivia Bornhoft; parents, Matthew Bornhoft and Vicki Bornhoft; brothers, Gregory Bornhoft and Travor Bornhoft; grandparents, Robert Bornhoft, Helen Bornhoft, and Robert and Doris Chester.
Funeral services were Friday at Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral Home Chapel with interment at St. Anthony’s Cemetery

Quentin Durham Johnson, 61, Searcy, died March 4, 2004.
Services were held March 8 at Powell Funeral Home, Searcy.
Survivors, three sons, Duane, Heber Springs, Mike, Cabot, Chris, Cabot; brother, Bernice, Conway; and six grandchildren.
Emma Lou Tedford
Emma Lou Neely Tedford, 85, of North Little Rock, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004.
She was the widow of retired Pulaski County Tax Assessor L.E. Tedford. She volunteered at Pikeview Elementary School for their music programs. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in North Little Rock.
She is survived by her children, Mary Jane Staggs, of Cabot, Jimmie Tedford of Beebe, David Tedford of North Little Rock and Lou Ellen Sierra of Sherwood; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Funeral services were March 12, 2004, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel.

Helen L. Holcomb
Helen Louise Holcomb (Howell), age 87, of Austin, Arkansas, died Sunday, January 1, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husbands Woodrow W. Hughes and Ernie Holcomb, her son John H. Hughes and her parents Hardy and Oma Howell.
She is survived by her grandchildren Tiffany Dodson (Donny) of Austin and David N. Hughes of Jacksonville and her great-grandchildren Madison, Whitney and Matthew Dodson.
Family received friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006 at Oak Grove Cemetery, Lonoke County.
