John C. Green
John C. Green, 68, of Pine Bluff, died Sept. 23, 2005. He was reared and educated in Stuttgart, where he graduated from Stuttgart High School. He attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello and served in the United States Army National Guard. He worked for over 20 years at Anderson Minnow Farm in Lonoke. He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughters, twins, Kaye Scallion and
Faye Henderson, both of Pine Bluff, and Angela Coker of North
Ridgeland, TX; four grandchildren; brothers, Billy and Oscar Green, both of Stuttgart; sisters, Patricia Embrey of Little Rock, and Susan Hancock of Haskell.
Funeral services were held Sept. 27 at Edgewood Baptist Church. Burial was at the Legate Cemetery in Lonoke.

Arrangements were by the Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.

Wilburn L. Phillips
Wilburn L. Phillips, 71, of Traskwood died Mon., Sept. 26, 2005, in Traskwood.
He was born Jan. 3, 1934, in Traskwood, Ark., to the late Wilburn and Jennie Phillips. Mr. Phillips was a retired Postal Worker, a U.S. Navy Veteran nd a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Benton.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Eubanks and Debbie Phillips.
Survivors include his wife, Carmela Phillips of Traskwood; son, David Phillips and wife Rayne of Benton; daughter, Jennifer Ferrell and husband Jeff of Traskwood; brother, Wayne Phillips of Bentonville; sisters, Linda Baldwin and Carolyn Hicks, both of Austin, Ark., and Anita Brown of Tulsa, Okla.; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m., Thurs., Sept. 29, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Austin, Ark. Father Michael Bass will officiate. Rosary will be 7 p.m., Wed., Sept. 28, at Ashby's with visitation to follow.

Charles F. Waller

Charles Francis Waller, age 84, of Cabot, died on Sept. 29, 2005. Mr. Waller was in the Civilian Conservation Corp, a member of the Bricklayers Union, a longtime deacon and Sunday school teacher at Centennial Baptist Church in Mexico, MO, where he was also the RA Leader. He has been a member of First Baptist Church of Cabot, for the last five years.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pauline; children, Terry Waller of Cabot, Rick Waller of Oak Grove, MO; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Oct. 3, 2005, at First Baptist Church of Cabot, with Bro. Harold O’Bryan and Dr. Dennis Phelps officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Carmel Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Cabot.

Michael Ryan Elliott

Michael Ryan Elliott, age 30, of Cabot, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 201, and earned the Eagle Scout award in 1993. He was a 1993 graduate of Cabot High School and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1998 with a degree in computer science. He was a team leader at Deluxe Video.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Linda and Bill Thompson of Ash Flat and his father and stepmother Bill and Charle Elliott of West Fork; maternal grandparents Dorothy Williams and Gene Taylor of Ward; one brother, Darren Elliott; one stepbrother Louis Wayne Thompson, both of Cabot.

Memorial service was Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Memorials may be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, AR 72210.

Goldie M. Raney

Goldie M. Raney, 89, of Beebe died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005 in Beebe. She was a homemaker and a canner for the Libby Company. Mrs. Raney was also a member of the Union Valley Baptist Church in Beebe.

She is survived by two sons; Walter Raney and his wife Margie and Gene Raney and his wife Marlene; three daughters; Bonnie Skasick, Rosie Kirk, Edna Fisher; one brother, Donald Perkins; 23 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Cabot Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Tommy Miller with burial in Fredonia Cemetery in Mountain View. Memorials may be made to the Union Valley Baptist Church Building Fund.

Betty Sue Hamrick

Betty Sue Hamrick, 67, of Cabot, died Sept. 27, 2005.
Survivors include her sons: Cecil, Donnie and Mike Hamrick; daughter, Karen Latourrette all of Austin; sisters, Olene Whitley of North Little Rock and Mary Lou Franks of Texas; brothers, William Jackson of North Little Rock and Jerry Wayne Jackson of Missouri; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Oct. 1 at Christ Worship Center in Cabot. Interment followed at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Thomas Funeral Service.

Frank Walter Bisbee

Frank Walter Bisbee, 68, of Little Rock, died Sept. 30, 2005.
He was a retired truck driver and a Korean War Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Bisbee; daughters, Dr. Connie Bisbee-Tollett and Marnita Bisbee both of Little Rock; sons, Robert Bisbee of Newport, and Christopher Bisbee of Lonoke; nine grandchildren; one great-grandfather; and brothers, Leroy Bisbee, Kenneth ‘Pat’ Bisbee, and Floyd ‘Butch’ Bisbee, all of Little Rock.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Wed., Oct. 5, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Rodney Parham Chapel with Bishop Andrews officiating.
Burial will follow at the Spring Valley Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Arkansas Alzheimer’s Foundation.

Arrangements were by Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth.

Mammie L. Brooks

Mammie L. Brooks, 88,of Mabelvale, died Oct. 2, 2005.
Survivors include her sons, Bobby Ray Brooks of Ward, Earnest Ray Brooks of Rose Bud, Lany Ray Brooks of Cabot, and Terry Ray Brooks of Sardis; daughter, Flowella White of Kentucky; brothers, Mung Prater, Ning Prater, Joe Prater, and Tommy Prater; 25 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wed., Oct. 5, at the Ashby Funeral Home with Bro. James Thomason officiating. Burial will be in the Orion Cemetery.

Frances P. Richmond

Frances Phillips Richmond, 84, of Heber Springs died Sept. 30, 2005. She was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Heber Springs where she was a Daughter of the King.

She is survived by her husband, Roy F. Richmond of Heber Springs; children, Dana Pryor of Austin, Lisa Dillman of Romance, and Philip Richmond of Searcy; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Heber Springs on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m. Memorial donations be made to St. Francis Episcopal Church, 20 Woodland Cove Drive, Heber Springs, Ark. 72543.

Breanna Hammaker

Breanna Margaret Hammaker, age 8, of Cabot, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2005 after a courageously battled 7 year course with an extremely rare brain tumor, Gliomatosis Cerebri. She was born March 7, 1997 in Little Rock to Craig & Amelia Hammaker. She was a Second Grader at Magness Creek Elementary. She was the child celebrity survivor for the 2005 Cabot Relay for Life and attended church with her family at Grace Fellowship Church in Cabot. She was a member of the Girl Scout Troop #163, Kaleidoscope Kids, Camp Quality, Camp Aldersgate and CARTI kids.

Preceding her in death is a grandmother Harriet Fowler and her “Nana Winnie” Clark.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her parents Craig and Amelia Hammaker, one sister Tabitha Hammaker and one sister on the way, all of Cabot; grandparents: Don Fowler of Brinkley; Chris and Sharon Hammaker of Hot Springs; aunts and uncles: Nick and Nadia Hammaker of Hot Springs, Cathy Fowler of Brinkley, James and Susan Fowler of Paragould, Paul and Diana Fowler of Alexander, Mike and Amy Fowler of Wheatley, Theresa Walker of Phoenix, Arizona and Becky Fowler of Brinkley; and many cousins, along with many other loving friends and family.

Visitation was held Saturday, October 8, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services were held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2005 at First Baptist Church in Cabot with interment immediately following at Old Austin Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Breanna’s memory to Kaliedoscope Kids or the Camp Quality. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service 713 South Second St. Cabot, AR (501) 941-7888.

Phillip A. Ellerbee

Phillip Anthony Ellerbee, 48, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2005 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He was born on August 30, 1957 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late John L. and Alice I. “Fallin” Ellerbee. He was a member of the Four Square Grace Chapel in Cabot. Mr. Ellerbee was employed at Franklin Electric from 1975 to 1984 and worked for Cal-Ark as a truck driver for the past 17 years. He was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and cooking.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Ellerbee of the home; four daughters, Devon Ellerbee of Conway, Lisa Ellerbee (Terry) Gilliam of Jacksonville, Jennifer and Jessica Ellerbee both of Searcy; two brothers, John (Sue) and Danny (Glenna) Ellerbee all of Cabot; three sisters, Pat Farrer, Sue (Gary) Staggs and Vicky (Mike) Tucker all of Austin; one grandchild, mother-in-law, Estelle Glover, sister-in-law, Marsha Glover of Jacksonville, special cousin Geno Fallin of Thomaston, Georgia and numerous nieces, nephews and other friends and family. The family would like to say a special thanks to the Cal-Ark Family.

Funeral services were 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Lambe officiating followed by interment in Mt. Springs Cemetery located in Cabot. Pallbearers were Rick Phillips, Gerold Baker, Wesley Jackson, David Hersom, Robert Weseman and Chris Stinnett. Visitation was Friday, October 7, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Gideons International.
Funeral arrangements are under direction of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.

Rolland W. McLean

Rolland William “Buddy” McLean, died Oct. 3, 2005.
Survivors; mother, Ava McLean, father, William Mclean, both of Carlisle; brother and sisters, Randy McLean and Peggy Nicholas of Hazen, Laurie Phillips and Mary McLean of Carlisle and Rhonda Farmer of Lonoke.
Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.

Paul Daniel Bone

Paul Daniel Bone, 75, of Sheridan, born in Lonoke, died Oct. 5, 2005.
He owned Little Rock Tent and Awning Company; a member of First Baptist Church in Sheridan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors are his wife, Dorothy Stracener Bone; two sons: Danny and Tony; two daughters: Terri Lynn Henson and Tanya Damron, all of Sheridan; brother: James Bone of Monticello; two sisters: Clara Mae Raper of Lonoke, Louise Chambers of Cantil, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005 at First Baptist Church in Sheridan, with Rev. Mark Lindsey and Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Sheridan by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church - 1201 South Rock St. -Sheridan, AR. 72150 or Sheridan Athletic Booster Club, c/o Mark Perkins - 800 West Vine St., Sheridan, AR. 72150.
