Mary Louise Terry

Mary Louise Terry, 62, of Beebe died Feb. 13, 2006.
She was a member of the Austin Church of God in Austin, of which she and her husband were charter members.

Survivors include her daughter, Angela Terry of Cabot; sons, Dwayne Terry of North Little Rock, David Terry of Cabot; brother, Paul Heirld of Phoenix, AZ; father, Joe Heirld of Yuma, AZ; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Feb. 18 at the Austin Church of God. Memorials may be made to Austin Church of God in Austin.

Travis Wedgeworth

Travis Wedgeworth, 70, of Conway, formerly of White Hall and Strong, died Feb. 13, 2006. He was a retired superintendent of the Strong Public School System and former teacher and coach in the White Hall School System. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Conway.

He is survived by his sons, Ralph Wedgeworth of Corpus Christi, TX, and Jon Wedgeworth of Poplar Bluff, MO; daughters, Elaine Donham of Monticello and Elise Hobson of Lonoke; stepchildren, Mickey Valentine and Linda Pearson both of Smackover; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Feb. 16 at the Second Baptist Church of Conway. Burial was in the White Hall Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.

Bill Brady Grace

Bill Brady Grace, of North Little Rock, died recently. He worked for Olin-Mathieson Chemical Company for many years. He was an inactive member of First Assembly of God Church, North Little Rock and a former member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class.

He is survived by his siblings, Elaine Cottrell of Alma, Ray Crace of North Little Rock, and Claud Crace of Austin, TX; daughter, Billie “Bill” Ratcliff of Little Rock; five grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice Home Care, 2200 South Bowman, Little Rock, Ark. 72211 or Sumner Cemetery, 118 Stuckey Road, Cabot, Ark. 72023.

The funeral service was held Feb. 18 in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was at the Sumner Cemetery in Cabot.

Hugh H. Freeman

Hugh H. “Hugh Boy” Freeman, 90, of Delight, died Feb. 15, 2006. He was a retired millright and machinist and a member of the Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rolferene Harris Freeman; sons, Darrell Freeman of Hope, Charles Freeman of Bonnerdale and Tommy Freeman of Gurdon; daughters, Gloria Holcomb of Amity, Shirley Scott and Hughlene Barham, both of Arkadelphia, Mary Hughes of Venezuela and Janye Coe of Ragley, LA; stepson, John Evans of Talkeena, AK; stepdaughters, Bea Howell of Fayetteville, NC, Dee Rankin of Center, TX, Ann Maguire of Atlanta, GA, and Rita Treece of Nashville; sisters, Dorothea Thompson of Cabot, Maye Harris of Little Rock and Faye Bernard of Vilonia; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Feb. 18 at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Delight. Interment was in the Pisgah Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.

Helen L. Cochran

Helen Louise Parnell Cochran, age 85, died February 17, 2006. She was a member of Hamilton Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, John R. Cochran( Bob) ; one son, Butch Cochran (Theresa) of North Little Rock; two daughters, Roberta Daniels and Esther Matthews of Sherwood; six grandchildren, David, Donny & Billy Daniels of Sherwood, Christie Johnson of North Little Rock, Pamela Lott of Jacksonville and Matthew Cochran of Maumelle; seven great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild; two sisters, Gracie Cochran and Carolyn Reaves of Carlisle; one brother, Roy Matlock of California and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Ed and Daisy Parnell.

Funeral Services were Tuesday at Hamilton Baptist Church with interment in Hamilton Cemetery, arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Visitation was Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hamilton Baptist Church or Hamilton Cemetery.

Rebecca Jaine Sage

Rebecca Jaine Bolls Sage, age 62 passed away at the Arkansas Hospice Center in North Little Rock on Thursday, February 16 surrounded by her family.
Born August 30, 1944 in Carlisle, Arkansas, Jaine grew up in Carlisle and graduated from Carlisle High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Arkansas State Teachers College (UCA). Janie taught English and Spanish in the public schools of Carlisle, North Little Rock, DeValls Bluff, Lonoke and West Memphis. For the past several years Jaine has been the Director of Medical Records at Golden Years Manor Nursing Home in Lonoke, Arkansas.

Jaine had a lifelong interest in art, music, literature and nature. She was a talented watercolorist and Master Calligrapher. She had a studio, “Calligraphy by Jaine”, and taught calligraphy at the Arkansas Arts Center, UALR, UCA and was employed by the State of Arkansas for special works. She studied calligraphy a t the University of Oklahoma at Norman.

She incorporated her love of nature in everything she created and was an active Master Gardener for several years. She was also an avid genealogist and worked on family trees all of her adult life.

Jaine’s passion was the love of family and her many dear friends. Preceded in death by her father, Charles A. Bolls, and a brother, Charles Clayton Bolls, she is survived by her mother, Margaret Skipper Bolls, three sons, Stuart Sage (Gina) of Carlisle, John Sage (Shona) of Fayetteville and Jason Sage of Lonoke; five grandchildren, Nicole Sage of Fayetteville, Ryan, Landon and Jayleigh Sage of Carlisle and Cody Dalton of Jackson Alabama, who lovingly called her “Jainie Bug”, four sisters, Betty Peters (Johnny ) of Jacksonville, Peggy Bailey (Tuney) of Little Rock, Judy Henry (Gerald) of Hot Springs and Nancy Rollins (Thomas) of Cabot and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many close loving friends.!

A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Carlisle, Arkansas on Wednesday, February 22 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Debbye Harrison officiating. There will be a celebration of life in Fellowship Hall following the service.

Memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Carlisle or the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Mary M. Morse

Mary M. Morse, age 56, of Little Rock, passed away February 19, 2006.
Preceded in death by parents Ralph and Grace Morse.

Survived by one brother Ralph Tigre; two sisters; and special friends, JC May of Heber Springs and Sandy McMath of Little Rock.

Private services scheduled at Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service in Cabot (501)941-7888.

Eunice Estes

Eunice Davis Overton Estes, age 85, of Little Rock, died Wednesday, February 15, 2006.

She is preceded in death by one son, David Overton.
Eunice is survived by one daughter, Bethel (Ira) May of North Little Rock; one son, G.W. (Sherry) Overton of Jacksonville; sisters, Marie McMillan of Cabot, Mildred Glover of North Little Rock; brother, Lawrence Kenneth “Jimmy” Davis of Spokane, WA.

Graveside services are 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2006, at King Cemetery, south of Cabot, off Highway 89 on Gun Club Road.

Phillip Gene Kellett

Phillip Gene Kellett, 56, of Cabot, died Feb. 15, 2006.
Cremation arrangements were by Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.

Sandra K. Baldwin

Sandra K. Baldwin, 62, of Cabot, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 18, 2006. She was born on September 19, 1943 in Marion, Indiana and was a graduate of Dunkirk High School in Dunkirk, Indiana. Her father, Willard Singer, preceded her in death. Mrs. Baldwin was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and wife who loved to watch her grandchildren participate in their many activities and she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Col. David L. Baldwin; daughter, Diana Baldwin Jacobsen of Conway; son Chris Baldwin (Michelle) of Cabot; mother, Roberta Singer Bastian and step-father Ben Bastian of Cabot; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jerold Posey officiating. Visitation was Tuesday February 21, 2006 at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements by Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.

Naoma G. Banks

Naoma Grace Hill Banks, age 71, of Cabot, passed away February 19, 2006. She was born December 15, 1934 to Shirley and Lola Hill in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Mrs. Banks is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Austin Banks.
She is survived by two sons: Garry, (Patti), Sherman, (Tammy) of Cabot; one daughter, Sharon (Michael) Spence of Austin; one sister; three brothers; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home in Cabot, Arkansas.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2006 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Edwards and Melborne Hill officiating.

Clara Donham

Clara Perkins Donham, age 98, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006 in the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Clark and Mary Zimmerman Perkins; her husband, Fred Alvis Donham, and two brothers.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry (Sandra) Perkins Donham of Murfreesboro, Tenn. And Fred (Jean) Donham of Nashville, Tenn.; two brothers, Fred Perkins and Robert Perkins, both of Carlisle; three sisters, Nellie James of Oklahoma, Martha Best of Bryant and Ruth Woodall of Carlisle; six grandchildren, Fred Donham III, Jerry Donham Jr., Victor Donham, Scott Donham, Michael Donham and Chris Donham; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Mrs. Donham was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Carlisle and a retired registered nurse with Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.

Visitation was held at the Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen on Friday, Feb. 17, 2006. Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 20, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church of Carlisle. Interment was in Pine Crest Memorial Gardens. Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Lois Evatt Brown

Lois Evatt Stewart Brown, 85, of Jacksonville, died Feb. 17, 2006.
She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and a past member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her son, Otis Stewart Jr.; and daughters, Carolyn Holt (Billy), and Barbara Fox Green all of Jacksonville; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The funeral service was held Feb. 20 in the chapel of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.

Burial followed in the Concord Cemetery in Furlow.
Arrangements were by Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home
