Bonnie L. Dennis
Bonnie L. Dennis, 77, of Magnolia, AR passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was born September 24, 1928 in Prescott, AR to the late Jethro W. and Fulma Dillard Loe. She was a retired bookkeeper for Chad White; a member of First United Methodist Church, and a member of the American Legion Forty and Eight Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert “Bud” Loe.
She is survived by her husband, Coach Dennis of Magnolia, AR; two daughters, Gwenette Jacobson and husband, Russ of Magnolia, AR and Tama Martin and husband Robert of Cabot, AR; one sister, Margaret Webb and husband Donald of Prescott, AR; two grandsons, Dr. Ryan Ward and wife Tera of Monroe, LA, Jon Martin of Bryant, AR; two granddaughters, Haley Ward of Magnolia, AR and Jennifer Coffman and husband Clay of Benton, AR; three great-grandsons, Tucker Ward of Monroe, LA, Elizha Fields of Magnolia, AR and Jackson Martin of Bryant, AR. Mrs. Dennis will be missed by her faithful companion “Sam."
Funeral services were Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Lewis Chapel. Dr. Walter Smith officiated, assisted by Tal Webb. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery
under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home. Visitation was Friday, April 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 2222, Little Rock, AR 72203.
Active pallbearers were Allen Loe, Tim Webb, Barney Hugh Reeves, Tony Wilson, Thomas Eugene Dennis and Larry Terrell. Honorary pallbearers were Lake Erling Friends andNeighbors, Herbert Russell and Chad White.
Marilyn M. Cash
Marilyn M. Lester Cash, 73, of Modesto, Calif., died April 14, 2006. She retired from Tri Valley Growers and was formerly employed by Sharp Army Depot.
She is survived by her children Sandra Cash of Modesto and Johnette Staneart of Dublin, Texas; a brother James Lester of Antioch; sisters Joyce Usiak of Modesto and Carolyn Piper of Powder Springs, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Wednesday, April 19, 2006 in the Colonial Chapel-Franklin & Downs funeral home in Modesto.

Maude Golightly
Maude Powell Golightly, 84, of Cabot died April 15, 2006. She lived in Cabot since 1978.
Mrs. Golightly is survived by two sons, William L Golightly Jr. of Mount Pleasant, S.C. and John Keith Golightly of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Helen Whitten of Senatobia, Miss.; two grandsons.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 19 at Cabot Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. at Bethel Cemetery
in Coldwater, Miss.

Donna Gayle Crook
Donna Gayle Crook, 47, of Jacksonville, died April 10, 2006.
She graduated from Jacksonville High School. She was employed for the past eight years with U.S. Bank.
She is survived by her sister, Sharon Holsinger of Jacksonville; and brother, J.C. Crook, Jr., of Cabot.
Funeral services were held April 13, at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Chapel. Burial followed at Bayou Meto Cemetery
in Jacksonville.
Mary E. Burgess
Mary Elizabeth Garner Burgess, 83, died April 10, 2006.
She was a retired nurse and a charter member of Roberson Baptist Church in Lonoke where she served as church secretary for several years. She was previously a charter member of Tyler Street Baptist in Little Rock.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Troy Samuel Burgess; daughters, Peggy Moore, Sandra Pawlowski, and Debbie Roark; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke April 13 with interment in Pine Crest Cemetery
in Alexander.
Memorials may be made to Baptist Hospice or Alzheimer’s Arkansas.
Diana Lynn Grimes
Diana Lynn Burnett Grimes, 46, of McRae, died April 8, 2006.
She is survived by her sons, Preston Vance Jr. and Ricky Payne both of McRae; brothers, Robert, Donald and William “Bill” Burnett all of Searcy; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 13 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Lebanon Cemetery
in McRae.
Loyd V. Grimes
Loyd V. Grimes, 73, of Ward, died April 11, 2006. He was a lifelong resident of Ward. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his son, Wen Grimes of Maumelle; daughters, Amelia Crane, Deloris Grimes and Vandora Grimes, all of Lonoke; three grandchildren; and sister, Morene Ashmore of Ward.
Funeral services were held April 14 at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Butlerville Cemetery.

Sanford Warren, Jr.
Sanford Lee Warren, Jr., 84, of Jacksonville, died April 12, 2006. He was a charter member of the VFW #4538. He joined the Air Force in May of 1941 and retired in 1977.
He is survived by his wife, Floy L. Warren; children, Floy Ann Winham of Jacksonville and Laura Lea Buehler of Ward; brothers, Buddy Ray Warren of Tulsa, Okla., Vance Warren of Coweta, OK, and Gerold Warren of Oktaha, OK; sister, Williene Consadine of Tulsa, OK; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.
Viola May King
Viola May Green “Granny” King, 87, of DeValls Bluff, died April 13, 2006.
She lived most of her life in and around DeValls Bluff. She was a housewife and a member of the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. She spent the last nine years as a resident of Charmbers Nursing Home in Carlisle.
She is survived by her children, Virginia Coffman and Charles King of DeValls Bluff, Ludene Treadway of Crossroads; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Calvin, Carolyn, Derlene, Don, Ode, Mildred, Ralph, Raymond, and Walter.
Funeral services were at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in DeValls Bluff on Mon., April 17, by Bro. Tom Jones. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery
by Westbrook Funeral Home.

Johnny D. Walker
Johnny Demetrius Walker, infant, of Cabot, died April 7, 2006.
Johnny’s parents are Lawayne Walker and Latoya Wilborn. She is survived by her parents, one brother, one sister.
Burial was held April 18 at Riverwood Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were made by Roller-Owens Funeral Home.
David F. Campbell
David F. Campbell, 88, North Little Rock, died April 14, 2006. He was retired from the Arkansas National Guard, was a mechanical contractor and owned Campbell Plumbing, Heat and Air for many years. He was an Elder and member of First Christian Church in Russellville.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Imo Caudle Campbell; daughters Carol Fisher Seay of North Little Rock, and Louise C. Watkins of Austin; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were held April 18 at the Shinn Chapel, with burial in Oakland Cemetery
in Russellville by Shinn Funeral Service.

Leonard “Speedy” Crawford, 69, of Little Rock, died April 12, 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel Crawford; daughter, LaYona Brown; sons, Reginald of Sacramento, CA, Michael, Fredrick and Derrick of Little Rock; stepdaughter, Jessica Hill; sisters, Emma Jordan, Elnora Donahue, both of Lonoke, and Patricia Williams of Tyler, TX; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Sat., April 22, at the Greater Second Baptist Church, 5615 Geyer Springs Road in Little Rock. Family hour will be held 6-7 p.m., Fri., April 21. Services are entrusted to Hubble Funeral Home.
