Robyn Lynn Davison
(November 19, 1956 - October 25, 2010)
Robyn Lynn Davison, age 53, of Hatfield, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 25, 2010. She was a Christian with strong faith. She was born on November 19, 1956 in Austin, Texas to the late Bill Bledsoe and Beverly Bledsoe. She was a homemaker, which is what she did best. She made a home filled with love and family. She was a member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association and wrote for the Mena Star for 5 years in the 1990’s. She loved the West Beach in Galveston, Texas, and chasing mountains; exploring the Arkansas and Oklahoma countryside. She enjoyed beading, writing, crochet, and drinking coffee with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Bledsoe and a brother, Bruce Bledsoe.
She is survived by her mother, Beverly Watkins-Bledsoe, her mother-in-law, Stella Nolte, her loving husband of 32 years, Melvin Raymond Davison, her children; son, Harley Davison, her daughters, Bonnie Davison Peterson, Jennifer Davison Howard, Amanda Davison and Rebecca Davison, grandkids, Natalie Davison, Luke Davison, Haily Guire, Heather Peterson, Heath Peterson, III, Harmony Peterson, Helen Peterson, Samira Davison, Octavia Howard, Nick Sorel, David Sorel, Noel Davison, and a host of family and friends.
Robyn was sent for cremation under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held by her family on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 2:00 p. m. at the Beasley-Wood Chapel.

James Louie Bohn
(April 3, 1944 - October 24, 2010)
James Louie Bohn, age 66, of Athens, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 in Daisy. He was born April 3, 1944 in Texarkana, Texas to the late Herbert Victor Bohn and Mildred Euline Mortensen Bohn. He was united in marriage to Cathy Sue Lance. Louie was a Field Tech for Tyson for over 30 years and was a member of the Wickes Pentecostal Church of God. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He is survived by:
Mother: Mildred Bohn of Fouke, Arkansas
Wife: Cathy Lance Bohn of Athens, Arkansas
Sons: David Bohn and wife Tina of Athens, Arkansas Daniel Egger and wife Elesha of Mena, Arkansas
Daughter: Alecia House and husband Brandon of Russellville, Arkansas
Brother: Robert Bohn and wife Reta of Fouke, Arkansas
Sisters: Euline Burleson and husband Buddy of Texarkana, Texas Helen Jane Smith and husband Cecil of Fouke, Arkansas Barbara Burns and husband Glenn of Fouke, Arkansas Grandchildren: Cory Bohn, Casey Bohn, Jamie Bohn, Patience Bohn, Trinity Bohn, Isaac Egger, Addison Egger, Ashlynn Egger, and Emmaline Rath.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Bohn, and by a granddaughter, Courtney Bohn.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 2:00 p. m. at the Wickes Pentecostal Church of God with Brother Chris Burke officiating. Interment follows in Athens Cemetery under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday evening, October 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 p. m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Kevin Randolf, Frank Lewis, Tim Cook, Jeff Cook, Gailin Cook, and Larry Wilcher.

Gilbert Meredith
(March 6, 1962 - October 24, 2010)
Mr. Gilbert Meredith, age 48, of Cove, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 in Cove. He was born March 6, 1962 in Mena, Arkansas to the late Jr. Ray Meredith and Minnie Lawrence Meredith. He was a sawmill worker and was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He is survived by:
Mother: Minnie Meredith of Cove, Arkansas
Son: Aaron Meredith of Cove, Arkansas Daughter: Lachristia Phillips and husband Matthew of Cove, Arkansas
Brother: Jeffery Meredith and wife Lesia of Cove, Arkansas
Sisters: Dorothy Fletcher and husband James of Mena, Arkansas Glenda Bass and husband Johnny of Mena, Arkansas Mary Bass and husband Leroy of Waldron, Arkansas
Grandchild: Lydia Phillips of Cove, Arkansas
Many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jr. Ray Meredith, and a son, Jared Meredith.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 2:00 p. m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Hatfield with Brother Leroy Bass and Brother Roy Bass officiating. Interment follows under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be Monday evening, October 25th from 6:00 to 8:00 p. m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Marcus Bass, Stephen Bass, Benji Bass, Josh Bass, Michael Meredith, and Allen Brumbelow.

Troy Gene Dunigan
(March 9, 1934 - October 24, 2010)
Troy Gene Dunigan, age 76, of Heavener, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 in Heavener. He was born March 09, 1934 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to the late Clarence Richard Dunigan and the Ada Belle Willis. He married Joyce Ann Evans, November 12, 1952 in Ink, Arkansas. Gene served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion. He worked as a logger in the timber industry. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and a friend to all who knew him. He is survived by:

Sons: Micheal Eugene Dunigan and wife Debbie of Poteau, Oklahoma Dale Lynn Dunigan and wife Earlene of Broken Bow, Oklahoma Troy Lee Dunigan and wife Gladys of Hayworth, Oklahoma Daughters: Debra Kay Tran and husband Ben Hunt of Mena, Arkansas Phyllis Ann Toon and husband Dewey of Smithville, Oklahoma Pamla Jean Dunigan of Heavener, Oklahoma
Brothers: Jimmy Gail Dunigan of Heavener, Oklahoma Johnny Ray Dunigan of Bristow, Oklahoma
Sisters: Margie Lucille Tolleson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Wanda Sue Robertson of Howe, Oklahoma Ruthie Churchwell of Bowlegs, Oklahoma

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Richard and Ada Belle Dunigan, and sister, Junita Mae Churchwell.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 27 at 2:00 p. m. at the Concord Cemetery in Ink with Brother Donald Hinds under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Family and friends visitation will be Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 4:00 p. m. - 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie J. Toon, Donnie M. Toon, Ronnie L. Toon, Michael A. Dunigan, Martin W. Dunigan, and Tory L. Dunigan.

Richard W. Jacoby
(June 30, 1947 - October 24, 2010)
Mr. Richard W. Jacoby, age 63, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 in Little Rock. He was born June 30, 1947 in Bandera, Texas to the late Harry Lee Jacoby and the late Bonnie Hey Jacoby. He was united in marriage to Nancy Keeton. Richard was a truck driver for Tyson, and was also a veteran. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend.
He is survived by:
Wife: Nancy Jacoby of Mena, Arkansas
Son: Michael Jacoby and wife Myra of Mena, Arkansas
Sisters: Judy Fergerson and husband Alan of Natalia, Texas Barbara Jacoby of Dallas, Texas
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Bonnie Jacoby.
Richard was sent for cremation under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. No services have been scheduled at this time.

Robert Allen Lang
(July 6, 1935 - October 23, 2010)
Robert Allen Lang, age 75, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 in Mena, Arkansas. He was born July 6, 1935 in Buffalo, New York to the late Clarence William Lang, Sr., and the late Florence Emma Brown. He was a truck driver by profession. He was a member of the American Legion and on the Pine Bowl Bowling leagues. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was a loving father, brother and a friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by:
Son: Bryan Lang of Buffalo, New York.
Brothers: James Lang of Mena, Arkansas Richard Lang of Buffalo, New York
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Florence Lang, Sr., and three brothers and three sisters.
Mr. Lang was sent for cremation under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena. There will be a celebration of his life on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 12:00 noon at the Pine Bowl in Mena.

Betty Lewis

Betty Lewis, age 75, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Friday, October 22, 2010 in Mena, Arkansas. She was born August 13, 1936 in Ramsgate, England to the late Richard and Muriel Bowden and was a waitress by profession. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by:
Sons: David Barton of Colorado Springs, Colorado Gary Barton and wife Sue of Colorado Springs, Colorado
Daughter: Carol Smith and husband Loren of Colorado Springs, Colorado
Grandchildren: Joseph Hibbs and wife Christine of Columbia, Missouri Amy Ryan and husband Ladell of Mena, Arkansas Janna Hibbs and Clayton Gunn of Colorado Springs, Colorado Katie Barton of Texas Logan Barton of San Diego, California
14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Muriel Bowden and a grandson, Daniel Hibbs.
Ms. Lewis was sent for cremation under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. No services are scheduled at this time.
