Carl Tissue
Carl Terrell Tissue, 66, of Stamps, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001 at his home.
Born Feb. 24, 1935 in Stamps to the late Carl and Lura Stevens Tissue, he was a Methodist, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a former employee of Gulf Coast Catering.
Survivors are two daughters, Lynette Rink and husband Will of Houston and Susette Lisenby of Arlington, Texas; a sister, Cludia Ann Johnson and husband Dennis of Stamps; a granddaughter; special friends, Brenda Tissue, Bill Magee, Bill Moffitt and Dena Powell; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with the Rev. Charles Walthall officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Cemetery with Smith Funeral Home of Stamps in charge.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

James Robinson
James Edward Robinson, 65, of Waldo, died Nov. 11, 2001 in his home.
Born April 20, 1936 in Columbia County to Theloplis and Lear Mae Harris Robinson, he was a member of the Westside Church of Christ in Waldo.
Survivors are his wife, Carrie Mae Robinson; three daughters, Vickie Jackson and husband Curtis of Los Angeles, Calif., Vernita Madison and husband Mitch of Buckner, and Dorothy Porchia of Waldo; a son, James Robinson Jr. and wife Karen of Dallas, Texas; four brothers, George Frank Todd of Stephens, Hubert Robinson of McNeil, and J.P. Robinson and Theotis Robinson, both of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Hazel Lambert of Little Rock; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and uncles.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Westside Church of Christ in Waldo with Jeffers Jefferson officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Waldo with Marks Funeral Home in charge.
A wake will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.
Pallbearers are S.B. Russ, Herman Young, Henry Weaver, Michael Robinson, Franklin Sears, McArthur Brantley, Otis Lee Standoak and Donnie Cole.
Honorary pallbearers are Hubert Robinson, Mitch Robinson, J. P. Robinson, John M. Lambert, George Frank Todd, Marcus Dismuke and Frankie Todd.
Flower bearers will be the Westside and Southside Church of Christ sisters.

William Kitchens
William Kitchens, of Waldo, died Wednesday, June 27, 2001 in the home. Service is pending with Lewis Funeral Home Inc.

Iva Crane
Iva Mae Flaherty Crane, 88, of Magnolia, formerly of Waldo, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000 at the Magnolia Manor Nursing Home.
Born Aug. 18, 1912 in Waldo, she was the daughter of William and Izzie Dora (Perry) Flaherty. She was a retired cafeteria worker for the Waldo Public Schools and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Clyde Crane; a son, Robert Neil Crane; and a daughter, Betty Lou Crane.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Earl Crane and wife Jane of Escondido, Calif.; two daughters, Joyce Crane of Waldo and Judy Crane Munn and husband Don of Magnolia; a sister, Retha Watkins of Camden; four grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lewis Chapel in Waldo with the Rev. Jessica Durand officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home Inc. in charge.
Pallbearers will be Larry Polk, Stephen Polk, Jimmy Jackson, Van Smith, Don Smith and Jeff Harrington.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Lewis Chapel in Waldo.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Dotsy Mae Easter, 69, of Magnolia, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000 in her home. Service is pending with Marks Funeral Home Inc.

Neucie Murphy
Neucie H. Murphy, 98, of Magnolia, formerly of McNeil, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000 in the Magnolia City Hospital.
Born April 4, 1902 in Nevada County, she was the daughter of William Rudolph and Estella (Creighton) Hatcher. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in McNeil.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur Jewel Murphy; a son, James Murphy; a sister, Loney Dorman; and three brothers, Allison Hatcher, Lawrence Hatcher and Leon Hatcher.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Estelle Dennis and husband Thurman of McNeil; a granddaughter, Alisa Crank and husband Randy of Magnolia; a great-grandson, Austin Crank of Magnolia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Service was at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in McNeil with the Rev. Danny Bullock officiating. Burial followed in the Shiloh Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home Inc. in charge.
Visitation was from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Lewis Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jewel Earl Merchant, Herbert Booth, Tommy Murphy, Stanley Murphy, Billy Paul Dodson and Bill Givens.

Dee Fomby
Dee Fomby, 99, of Magnolia, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000 in the Magnolia City Hospital. Service is pending with Lewis Funeral Home Inc.

Pauline McKissack
Pauline Bradshaw McKissack, 79, of Stephens, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2000.
She was a member of the Stephens United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Partee "Red" McKissack; her parents; two brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include a daughter, Royce Dixon and husband Mike of Rosston; a grandson, Chad Dixon of Magnolia; and a granddaughter, Amy Dixon of Little Rock.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Stephens United Methodist Church with the Rev. Francis Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in the Stephens Cemetery with Proctor Funeral Home Inc. of Camden in charge.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Carolyn Rankin
Carolyn Simmons Rankin, 88, of Junction City, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000 in the home.
Born Jan. 19, 1912 in Junction City, she was the daughter of David Irving and Anna Loy (Jarrell) Simmons. She was a homemaker and a member of Scotland Presbyterian Church in Junction City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Maj. Curtice Hayden Rankin.
Survivors include a son, David Rankin and wife Toni of Magnolia; two grandsons, Curtice Rankin and John Rankin, both of Magnolia; a granddaughter, Beth Ann Rankin of Little Rock; a sister-in-law, Lorene Rankin of Eudora; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Little Rock National Cemetery with the Rev. David Wood officiating and Lewis Funeral Home Inc. in charge.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Scotland Presbyterian Church, 2416 Wesson Rd., Junction City, AR 71749.

Patricia Smith
Patricia Ann Snell Smith, 45, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Magnolia, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000 in Dallas. Service is pending with Henderson's Funeral Service.

Athalene Booth
Athalene Booth, 83, of North Little Rock, died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000.
Born Nov. 7, 1916 in Village, she was the daughter of Ira Rogers and Catherine Rogers. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in El Dorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Samuel Morgan Booth of North Little Rock; a daughter, Peggy Smith of North Little Rock; two sisters, Martha Roberson of Magnolia and Marjorie Cheatham of Stamps; a brother, Winston Rogers of Marion, La.; a grandson, Tony Smith of Dallas, Texas; a granddaughter, Susan Harvey of Sherwood; and two great-grandchildren, Rebecca Harvey and Mitchell Harvey, both of Sherwood.
Service was 2 p.m. Saturday at Young's Chapel with Dr. Russell Moore officiating. Burial followed in the Arlington Cemetery in El Dorado.

Otis Cummings
Otis Cummings, 93, of Magnolia, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2000 in the Meadowbrook Lodge Nursing Home.
Service is pending with Marks Funeral Home Inc.

Cecil Cragan
Cecil C. Cragan, 83, of Magnolia, died Tuesday, May 30, 2000 in the home.
He was born Dec. 20, 1916 in Minden, La. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Travis Rowe Sunday school class. He was also a member of the American Legion and was a 32nd-degree Mason. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps in which he served during World War II. He was a retired purchasing account manager for McAlester Corp, where he served for 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Eddie Charles Cragan.
Survivors include his wife, Vonceylle Cragan of Magnolia; a daughter, Rosemary Linder of Sarasota, Fla.; two granddaughters, Destrey Cragan of El Dorado and Amanda Bowen of Magnolia; and four great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Hough officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers will be Melvin Herring, Floyd Smith, Oren Dees, Jack Marshell, Travis Rowe and Jim Todd.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Travis Rowe Sunday School class.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Lewis Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church.
