There will be a Memorial Graveside service for Mary Jo House Williamson on Sunday, March 25th at 3:00 p.m. at the Clear Creek Cemetery
in Horatio with Bro. Travis Lane officiating.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
Mary Jo was born August 23, 1930 to Cecil and Leo Marie House and was married to Frank Mahlon Williamson. She has three surviving children: Mike, Patti and Kerri Ann.
She passed away on September 21, 2011 in Tyler Texas.
Mary Jo was active in the Daughters of American Revolution Society, the Sevier County Historical Society and Museum as well as the Genealogy group. She attended the Geneva Baptist church before moving to Tyler Texas.
Winifred Donald "Don" Norris
Mr. Winifred Donald "Don" Norris, age 62, a resident of De Queen, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in De Queen.
He was born February 14, 1950 in Indiana. He was a carpenter.
Mr. Norris was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Dorothy Cooper Norris.
He is survived by two children; two sisters, Patsy Lillingreen of Portland, Oregon and Pam Abernathy of Georgia; five aunts, Norma Pohl of St. James, Missouri, Rosalee Nix of De Queen, Juanita Wood and Pearl Epherpon both of Birchtree, Missouri, and Louise Lyons of Van Buren, Missouri; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Norris will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2012 in the Mineral Cemetery
with Rene Martinez officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15th at the funeral home.
Bobbie Joyce Shinn Simmons
Mrs. Bobbie Joyce Shinn Simmons, age 83, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas died Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in the De Queen Medical Center.
She was born June 8, 1928 in Lockesburg. She was employed at the Bank of Lockesburg for 23 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lockesburg.
Mrs. Simmons was preceded in death by her parents, Robbie and Katie Elkins Shinn; her husband, C.O. "Pud" Simmons; and one grandson, Levi Alan Simmons.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, James and Sheila Simmons and Ronnie Simmons all of Lockesburg; one brother, Danny Shinn of Bridgeport, Texas; three grandsons, Jesse, Jacky and Clifton Simmons; two granddaughters, Crystal Molina and Lisa Simmons; 10 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Simmons will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2012 in the Lockesburg Cemetery
with Rev. Jack Gilliland officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen. A meal will be served at 12:00 p.m. at the Lockesburg Baptist Church following the service.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15th at the funeral home.
Ricky Nelson Fullerton
Mr. Ricky Nelson Fullerton, age 53, a resident of Horatio, died Tuesday, March 13th at his home.
He was born to Leonard and Bobbie Louise Poteete Gibson Fullerton at Needles, California on March 14, 1958. He worked for Little River Pipe, and attended Unity Church of Christ in Winthrop, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by two sons, Jason Wayne Fullerton and Peter Nelson Fullerton both of Horatio, a daughter, Chavon Nicole Pond of Horatio, seven grandchildren, a sister, Linda Miller of Virginia, and a special niece, Billie Toal of Winthrop.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Ricky Fullerton will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 14th in the State Line Cemetery
Pavilion. Burial will be in the State Line Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
Arlin Ray Allen
Mr. Arlin Ray Allen, age 64, a resident of Dierks, died Monday, March 12, 2012 in the Howard Memorial Hospital in Nashville, Arkansas.
He was born August 7, 1947 in Dierks. He was a retired logger and cattle farmer. Ray was a Christian and member of the Mtn. View Baptist Church in Umpire. He loved to hunt and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin Allen Sr. and Inez Gossage Allen.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sharon Shelton Allen; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Mark Kitchens; two granddaughters, Kaitlin and Alison Kitchens; two brothers, Marlin Jr. and Randy Allen; one sister, Thresa Thomas; one brother-in-law Brice Shelton and his wife Glenda; his step-mother, Marjorie Allen all of Dierks and a number of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Nobie Martin Lowery Wilson
Nobie Martin Lowery Wilson, age 88, a resident of Tyler, Texas formerly of de Queen, Arkansas died Monday, March 12, 2012 at her home.
She was born august 10, 1923, Newhope, Arkansas. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She cared for her daughter Patricia for 27 years in her home and raised two grandchildren, Darren and Theron. She was member of the First United Methodist Church of De Queen and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents Andrew Jackson Martin and Josie Killian Martin; one Daughter, Patricia Lowery VanMeter and three brothers: Orvis Martin, Robert Martin, and Odell Martin.
She is survived by her husband, Warren Wilson of Tyler, Texas; one son, Ronald Lowery and his wife Janet of de Queen; one brother, Andrew Jackson martin Jr., of Tacoma, Washington; two stepsons, Rick Wilson and his wife Donna, Larry Farquer and his wife Patricia; six grandchildren, Leah Harper of Lockesburg, Sandy Huntsberger, Brett Lowery and Kevin VanMeter all of De Queen, Theron VanMeter of great Falls, Montana and Darren VanMeter of Arlington, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. She also had many loving friends throughout Sevier County and Arkansas.

Esther Bell Hendrix Pettigrew
Esther Bell Hendrix Pettigrew, age 86, a resident of Hobbs, New Mexico, died Friday, March 9, 2012, at her home.
She was born February 26, 1926, in Honey Grove, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Henry and Mattie Leona Thomas Hendrix, her husband, John N. Pettigrew; one brother, Buck Hendrix; one granddaughter, Lindy Hickingbottom, one great-great granddaughter, Kylee Laine Sullivan, and one brother-in-law, Hubert McGaha.
She is survived by four daughters, Betty Jane Golden of Texarkana, Texas, Penny Ashley of Texarkana, Arkansas, Jan Pettigrew and Judy Carol Hare of Hobbs, New Mexico; one son, John Cody Pettigrew of Texarkana, Arkansas; one sister, Louise McGaha of Horatio, Arkansas; one brother, Thomas Hendrix and his wife, Marie of El Dorado, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

James Larry Bradshaw
Mr. James Larry Bradshaw, age 68, a resident of De Queen, died Friday, March 9th at his home.
He was born to William Archie and Lora Eunice Jenkins Bradshaw at De Queen, Arkansas, on March 8, 1944. He was an electrician for Weyerhaeuser and a poultry grower for Tyson Foods. He was a member of the Williamson Community Church in Horatio, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, William D. Bradshaw, E. H. Bradshaw, J. C. Bradshaw, Nadine Waters, Dessie Taylor, Clara Shaw, and Lorene Adams.
He is survived by his wife of over 48 years, Donnie Cannon Bradshaw of De Queen, one son and daughter-in-law, Robbie and Jessica Bradshaw of Lafayette, Louisiana, two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Todd Bright of Horatio, and Karen and Carlos Rodriguez of Heavener, Okla. his grandchildren and their spouses, James Logan and Samantha Bradshaw, T. J. Ferguson, Chaz Rodriquez, Preston Bradshaw, Jackson Bradshaw, Mandy and David Smith, Aimee and Aaron Rice, Emily Miller, Maya Kate Rodriquez, his step-grandchildren, Cody Bright, Sarah Bright, and Cheyanne Bright, three great-grandchildren, T. J. Davenport, Marissa Williamson, and Kira Williamson. He is also survived by two brothers, Clarence Bradshaw of Glade Water, Texas, and Archie Bradshaw of Arlington, Texas, two sisters, Bonnie McGhee of Pottsboro, Texas, and Yvonne Lenhard of Orange, Texas, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Lockesburg, Ark., under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home. Roy Curtis Mann
Mr. Roy Curtis Mann, age 74, a resident of Arkinda, Arkansas, died Thursday, May 10, 2012 in the Arkansas Nursing and Rehab in Texarkana, Arkansas.
He was born July 1, 1937 in Alleene, Arkansas. Mr. Mann was raised in Arkinda and he lived there until his death. He was an employee at Arkansas Cement and attended many area churches including, Foreman Methodist Church, Assembly of God in Foreman, Foreman Church of Christ, Crossroads Baptist Church, also a little country church at Moon, Oklahoma.
Mr. Mann was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Josephine Garett Mann.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel Aveleen Mann; one son, Roy Leonard "Lynn" Mann of Prescott, Arkansas; two daughters, Rebecca Sue "Becky" Martinez of Foreman, Arkansas and Joyce Ann Sanders of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; one brother, Jason Mann of New Orleans, Louisiana; three grandsons, Angelo Martinez Jr., Jason Kyle Cranfill and Caleb Clay Cranfill; three granddaughters, Erica Darlene Cain, Pepper Lynn Brooks and Evelyn Marie Mann; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mr. Mann will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 14, 2012 in the Crossroads Baptist Church with Leon Klitz officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackland Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
