NEW ORLEANS -- Emogene Gaines, 76, of New Orleans, formerly of Newport, died Saturday, July 31, at New Orleans.
She had worked at Fred's Grill in Newport for 37 years. In 2000 she moved to New Orleans.
Survivors include four sons, Dennis Pigg and Thomas Pigg, both of Louisiana, William Gaines of Mississippi and Roy Dale Pigg of North Little Rock; one daughter, Emma Gail Foster of Mississippi; two sisters, Pauline Davis and Alyene Harris; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Troy Pigg, and her second husband, Leroy Gaines.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Umsted Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery
under the direction of Dillinger Funeral Home of Newport.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today.
Graveside services for Elma M. Fletcher McKay, 89, of Jonesboro, who died Saturday, July 31, at NEA Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. today in Pine Log Cemetery, with Elvis Brandon officiating.
Born at Lake City, she had lived in the Jonesboro area her entire life. She was a homemaker and attended Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Charles "Chile" McKay of Jonesboro and Eugene McKay of Vancleave, Miss.; four daughters, Mary Prescott, Wanda Long and Donna Harness, all of Jonesboro, and Patsy Riggs of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Bill Fletcher of Jonesboro and Roland Fletcher of Blytheville; two sisters, Alene Faulkner of Jonesboro and Patricia "Pete" Easley of Little Rock; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claris E. McKay; one son, Jimmy Stone McKay; her parents, Marshall M. and Lillie Willey Fletcher; and two brothers.

POCAHONTAS -- Shade Frank Million, 83, of Pocahontas, died Sunday, Aug. 1, at Randolph Home.
Born at Dodge City, Kan., he had worked as a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Pearlean Million of Pocahontas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Anna Neuce Million, four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas, with Randy Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Sutton Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
PARAGOULD -- Raymond A. Myracle, 89, of Paragould died Sunday, Aug. 1, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.
Born at Paragould, he was a retired construction worker.
Survivors include two sons, Dan Myracle and Jerry McDonald, both of Paragould; one daughter, Belinda Franks of Paragould; two sisters, Willadene Hyde and Bonnie Myracle, both of Cardwell, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney William and Lillie Holcomb Myracle, three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Heath Funeral Home Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Arthur Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in Cardwell Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Audrey Remagen, Steven Huffine, Charles Knuckles, Steve Breckenridge and Matt Manley.

LEPANTO -- Martha Lucell Simmons, 53, of Lepanto died Sunday, August 1, at Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis.
Born in Memphis, she was a member of the Red Oak Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Clyde R. Simmons; one son, David R. Simmons of Lepanto; and one grandchild, Casey Simmons of Lepanto.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Murphy Funeral Home chapel in Lepanto, with J.E. Crawford and Larry Deaton officiating. Burial will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery.

She was born at Pollard.
Survivors include three daughters, Jane Moffitt of Poplar Bluff, Jean Wheeler of Piggott and Jerry Lean Ivester of Onaway, Mich.; one sister, Myrtle Heitala of Redwood Valley, Calif.; one brother, James Underwood of Little Rock; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loy Roosevelt Watson; four sisters; three brothers; and one grandson.
