Margaret McAnally
Margaret McAnally, 72, of Fort Smith died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, in Fort Smith. She was retired fro Howard’s Discount Store where she served as department head and staff supervisor and a member of Unity Assembly of God.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Unite Assembly of God in Fort Smith with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Renee Quattlebaum of Little Rock and Pamela Joyce Bitsko of Fort Smith; a son, John Wayne McAnally of Waco, Texas; four sisters, Joan Claudene Campbell of Oklahoma City, Marjorie Wiggins of Wauchula, Fla., Alta Libernois of Detroit and Wanda Graham of Fort Smith; and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Robert McAnally III, Joseph Tresp and Robert Glenn McAnally, Mark Bitsko, T.C. Creech and Ed Sidler.

Cecil Hendren
SUMMERFIELD — Cecil Ann Hendren, 44, of Summerfield died Friday, Jan. 24, 2003, in Summerfield. She was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with burial at Hodgen Cemetery in Hodgen under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
She is survived by three daughters, Crystal Ann Earls of Vallant, Okla., Amanda Jill Lloyd of Summerfield and Amy Dawn Earls of Cameron; a son, Samuel Jonathan Sinclair of Poteau; her mother, Anna May Beck of Summerfield; a sister, Anita Rae Beck of Waldron; her grandmother, Juanita McCurtain of Hodgen; and eight grandchildren.

Agnes Mooneyham
KEOTA — Agnes Mooneyham, 90, of Keota died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, in Stigler. She was a member of Lone Elm Free Will Baptist Church for 55 years and was a home care provider for several years. She was the widow of Ervin Harris and Earl Mooneyham.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lone Elm Free Will Baptist Church with burial at Keota Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler.
She is survived by four daughters, Laveda Woodall, Ann Marowski, Helen Jones and Pat Maxwell, all of Keota; two sons, James Harris and Wendell Mooneyham, all of Keota; two stepdaughters, Earlene Brown of Oklahoma City and Wanda Rawson of New Castle, Okla.; three sisters, Bertha Wiswell of Broken Arrow, Okla., Cassie Johnson of Muskogee, Okla. and Ida Mae Cobb of Claremore, Okla.; a brother, Ed Copeland of Marble City; 16 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

Henry Rice
CHARLESTON — Henry Rice, 92, of Charleston died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, in Paris. He was retired from working in the Steele Factory and was a member of the Assembly of God.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial at Moore Cemetery in Paris.
He is survived by his wife, Dollie; a sister, Vera Zeiler of Paris; three brothers, Eugene H. and Robert A. Rice, both of Paris, and Argie O. Rice of Wichita, Kan.
Pallbearers will be Bob Scrivner, Joe and Daniel Rollins, Ed Buckley, James Richard Rice, Ronald Bench and Jerry Ewing.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Margie Turman
CAMERON — Margie L. Turman, 92, of Cameron died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, in Cameron. She was born Feb. 20, 1910, in Shady Point. She was a homemaker and a practical nurse. She was the widow of Carl Turman.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. today at Evans & Miller Chapel of Memories in Poteau with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau.
She is survived by two daughters, Derotha Hetherington of Cameron and Martha Raye Tanner of Broadus, Texas; 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Cora Terrill
CLARKSVILLE — Cora Jane Terrill, 95, of Clarksville died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, in Clarksville. She was born Oct. 3, 1907, in Limstone. She was a member of Mayflower Society, former post mistress of Montana Post Office for several years and a member of Church of Christ.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville.
She is survived by a sister, Nora Tharp of Clarksville.

Betty Gomes
BANNING, Calif. — Betty Jean Gomes, 58, of Banning, Calif. died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003, in Palm Springs, Calif. She was a waitress for 30 years and a Baptist.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Evans Cemetery in Excelsior
She is survived by her husband, Allen; three daughters, Michelle Fletcher of Whittier, Calif., Sheryl Porter and Elizabeth Fletcher, both of Hartford; four sons, Michael, David and Greg Fletcher, all of Greenwood and Jon Fletcher of Hartford; a stepdaughter, Stacy Gomes of La Mirada, Calif.; a stepson, Steve Gomes of La Mirada, Calif.; two sisters, Nancy Perkins and Brenda Layne, both of Hartford; three brothers, Allen Trantham of Montreal, Bill Trantham of Paramount, Calif., and Danny Trantham of Hartford; 25 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Greg, David, Jon and Mike Fletcher, Steve Gomes and Jesse Montes.

Pauline Toon
Pauline Toon, 89, of Fort Smith died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, in a local nursing home. She was born Dec. 21, 1913, in Fort Smith. She was a retired seamstress for Southland Furniture and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Toon Sr. and Paul Toon, both of Van Buren; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 2301 Midland Blvd., Fort Smith, AR 72904.

Eva Hinman
Eva Williams Hinman, 90, of Fort Smith died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, in a local nursing home. She was a member of 43 Assembly of God and a homemaker. She was the widow of Elbert Williams.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Dripping Springs Cemetery near Uniontown.
She is survived by two daughters, Gracie Bell of Piggs, Okla., and Beulah Berry of Van Buren; four sons, Thurman, Gene and Hershell Williams, all of Van Buren, and Dean Williams of Oklahoma City; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Melvin and Phillip Williams, Dwight Small, J.T. McMaster, Leonard Vazzie and Bill Rhynes.

Sherman Cline
PARIS — Sherman A. Cline, 85, of Paris died Feb., 27, 2002, in Paris. He was a veteran of World War II.
Graveside service and burial of cremains will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Ellington Cemetery in Magazine under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.

Jane Bowman
MOUNTAINBURG — Jane Bowman, 86, of Mountainburg died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, in a local hospital. She was born July 23, 1916, in Mountainburg. She was a member of Mountainburg Presbyterian Church, retired owner and operator of Jane’s Cafe in Mountainburg. She was the widow of Floyd Bowman.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mountainburg Presbyterian Church with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Cochran of Mountainburg; two sons, Ronald Creekmore and John Salyer, both of Mountainburg; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Salyer, Steve and Danny Cochran, Britain White, Brent Burney, Danny Hight, Charles Shelly and Mike Anderson.
The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Bryan Holt
CLARKSVILLE — Bryan Dean Holt, 24, of Clarksville died Friday, Jan. 24, 2003, in his home. He was employed at Wal-Mart and was a Baptist.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Second Baptist Church in Clarksville with buiral at Lamar Cemetery in Lamar under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville.
He is survived by his wife, Adriana; his parents, Raymond and Janet Metzker Holt of Clarksville; a sister, Melanie Day of Knoxville; his grandparents, Clifford and Lois Metzker of Clarksville.
Pallbearers will be Richard Cowan, Jarred Callahan, Brett Daniel, Nick Ashley, Eddie Lindsey and Jason Young.
The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Almer Fritchey
Almer Joseph Fritchey, 86, of Van Buren died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, in his home. He was a retired minister of the Assemblies of God, a member of National Republican Party and several civic organizations.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Anna; two sons, Richard Leon Fritchey of Liberty, Mo., and Jon Fritchey of Van Buren; a sister, Margaret Thomas of Van Buren; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eugene Burkett, Johnny, Charles, Jon and Richard Fritchey Jr., David and James Flippin.
Honorary pallbearers will be ministers of the Assemblies of God.
The family will visit with friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Birdie Estes
Birdie Lavelle Estes, 87, of Van Buren died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, in her home. She was a member of Van Buren First Baptist Church, a retired school teacher having taught at Oak Groove and No. 12 Schools for 33 years. She was the widow of Claude Estes.
Funeral will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.
She is survived by a daughter, Claudette Parks of Van Buren; a son, Andrew Estes of Russellville; a sister, Adell Hankins of Bartlesville, Okla.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jackie, Bobby and Johnny Taylor, Odean Belt, Ronnie Coble and Perry Edwards.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Peggy Autry
Peggy Autry, 73, of Van Buren died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, in her home. She was retired from J.C. Penney Co. in Fort Smith and was the widow of Dayton Autry. Peggy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Van Buren, had been the delinquent tax collector for Crawford County and had been active in the Crawford County Democratic Committee.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Steephill Cemetery in Fort Smith.
She is survived by her son, Gary Autry of Abilene, Texas; two sisters, Maycene Hicks of Fort Smith and Jeannie Elliot of Groves, Texas; two grandchildren, Suzanne Conaway and Amanda Crossno, both of Van Buren; and two great-grandchildren, Landon Crossno and Lexie Conaway, both of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Conaway, Aaron Crossno, Frankie Vines, Gene Fields and Kevin and Jimmy Bell.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Velma Weldon Walters
Velma Weldon Walters, 82, of Van Buren died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catcher Free Will Baptist Church. She was the widow of Clifford Weldon and Blake Walters.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gill Cemetery Arbor under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
She is survived by a son, Bob Weldon and his wife Dorcas of Van Buren; a brother, Harold Watson of Shawnee, Okla.; a grandson, Clifford Weldon of Van Buren; a great-granddaughter, Heather Hickey of Van Buren; and two great-great-grandchildren, Skyler and Serenity Hickey.
Honorary pallbearers will be the nursing staff at Beverly Healthcare.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
