PARAGOULD -- Reva Dowdy, 81, of Paragould, formerly of Rector, died Monday, Sept. 12.
Survivors include five nieces, Jeanie Baker and Sherry Baker, both of Jonesboro, Becky Adams of Marion, Tersa Dallas of Wynne and Tina Townsend of Fort Worth; an aunt, Geraldine Beal of Jonesboro; and a cousin, Jerry Beal.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lilly Beal Dowdy; and a sister.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Woodland Heights Cemetery
at Rector, with the Rev. Larry Martineau officiating. Irby Funeral Home of Rector is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
CRAWFORDSVILLE -- Jerry Gail Goodwin, 56, of Crawfordsville, died Friday, Sept. 9, at his residence.
Formerly of Bay Village, he was of the Assembly of God belief.
Survivors include three sisters, Edith Bata of Rossell, Ill., Betty Brown of Bay Village, and Carolyn Pope of Marion; and two brothers, Bobby Goodwin of Romeoville, Ill., and Jimmy Goodwin of Henderson, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Edath Penna Goodwin; and two brothers.
Graveside funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Farm Hill Cemetery
near Harrisburg, with Reece Brown will officiating. Weston Funeral Service of Harrisburg is in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers will be Earl Craven, Rusty Brown, Jason Brown, Bill Pope, Danny Bolton and Tim Davidson.
Visitation will be 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
MARKED TREE -- O'Neal Halsey, 84, of Marked Tree, died Sunday, Sept. 11, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Marked Tree . She was also the owner and operator of a restaurant in Payneway and a volunteer at Three Rivers Nursing Center.
Survivors include a sister, Wenona Bowers of Rio Vista, Ca.; and a brother, Junior Bradley of Marked Tree.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Bradley; her parents, Charles and Vandora Bradley; and one brother.
JONESBORO -- Charles C. "Buddy" Jordan, 82, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, Sept. 10, at Jonesboro Healthcare.
Born at Cotter, he was a Southern Pacific Railroad brakeman and a self-employed house painter. He was a member of Bard Full Faith Assembly.
Survivors include two brothers, Woodrow Wilson Jordan of Paragould and Johnny Ray Jordan of California; and a sister, Mary Ellen Hull of Tucson, Az.
He was preceded in death by his wife, three children, and his parents, Lindsey Jackson and Alta Mae Casey Jordan.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Linwood Cemetery
in Paragould, with the Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Heath Funeral Home in Paragould is in charge of arrangements.
BLYTHEVILLE -- Seymour Kushner, 85, of Blytheville, died Friday, Sept. 9, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.
He lived in Blytheville for the past six years. He was a retired ROTC Instructor at Central High School and Whitehaven High School, both in Memphis. He retired with honors from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Marguerite Gaisser Kushner of the home; three daughters, Kathy Winn of Cordova, Tenn., Margaret "Peggy" Elgin of Tyler, Texas, and Barbara "Barbie" Bryant of Memphis; a son, Dominic Kushner of Bentonville; a brother, Morris Kushner of San Diego; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna Vechler Kushner.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. today at First Presbyterian Church in Blytheville.

JONESBORO -- Herbert Lee Mahan Jr., 23, of Jonesboro died Monday, Sept. 12, at his residence.
Arrangements will be announced by Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
PARAGOULD -- John Thomas Nees, 55, of Paragould, died Friday, Sept. 9, at his residence.
Born at Okemah, Okla., he served in the Marines during the Vietnam War, where he earned a Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts.
Survivors include two sons, Christopher Nees Baker of Amarillo, Texas, and John Vernon Nees of Springfield, Mo.; a daughter, Martha Nees Bibler of Paragould; seven grandchildren, James Wesley Baker, James Frank Baker, Christopher Allen Baker, Kevin Edward Baker, Gregory Allen Wallery, Christian Albert Baker and Ashley Nicole Biber; two brothers, Leonard Earl Nees Sr. of Hoxie and William Benjamin Nees of Valdosta, Ga; and a sister, Kathryn Marie Nees of Senath, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dee Ann Baker Nees; his parents, William Ludwig and Rosetta Picket Nees; and a grandson, Michael Hubert Thomas Bibler.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Fort Smith National Cemetery
in Fort Smith. Higginbotham Funeral Service Inc. of Walnut Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Nees Baker, Loretta Decker, David Decker, Leonard Nees, Jr., Michael Hulen, Bill Hulen, Aaron Hall, Stacy Bower, Leonard Nees and William Nees.
Honorary pallbearer will be Frank Vanhoutte.
Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at the Higginbotham Chapel in Walnut Ridge.
James Robert Reeves
JONESBORO -- James Robert "Hammer" Reeves, 85, of Jonesboro died Friday, Sept. 9, at Jonesboro Health Care Center.
Born at Lunsford, he lived in Northeast Arkansas his entire life and was a veteran of the second World War while serving in the Army. He was a retired farmer and was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include two sisters, Doris Moss of Trumann and Evelyn Hale of Jonesboro.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ailine Knight.
Funeral services were held at Roller-Farmers Union chapel on Monday, with Dr. Jim Shaw officiating. Burial was in Jonesboro Memorial Park at Jonesboro under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were, Tommy Davis, Rick Thomas, Rick Reeves, Johnny Moss, Billy Timmons and Eddie Reeves.
Bono -- Lelon Rowell, 61, of Bono died Monday, Sept. 12, at his residence.

JONESBORO -- Timothy Keith Russom Sr., 44, of Jonesboro died Sunday, Sept. 11.
Born at Paragould, he lived in the area most of his life. He was of the Baptist faith and was a truckdriver.
Survivors include a son, Tim Russom Jr. of Jonesboro; a daughter, LeAnn Russom of Searcy; his mother and step-father, Evelyn Stage and Keith Felkins of Jonesboro; his father and stepmother, Ray Gene and Linda Russom of Beech Grove; a brother, Doyne Lee Russom of Jonesboro; a sister, Shelley Ragsdell Brown of Jonesboro; and four stepbrothers, Chris Krohn of Beech Grove, Randy Krohn of Jonesboro and Larry Wyatt and Tony Wyatt both of Marmaduke.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edgar and Essie Mae Russom; Dave and Azalee Sullinger.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Pine Log Cemetery, with the Rev. Richard Williams and Johnny Niswonger officiating. Burial will be at Pine Log Cemetery. Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers will be: Nick Brown, Steve Taylor, Loretta Smith, Dustin Niswonger, Donna Taylor and Jeremy Russom.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
