West Memphis -- Mary Edith Lindley, 87, homemaker, died Tuesday at Crittenden Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Parkin Cemetery. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home has charge. She was a Baptist. Mrs. Lindley, the widow of Henry Lindley, leaves two daughters, Betty Lindley Helms of Memphis and Judy Lindley Smith of Heber Springs; a brother, Linville Graham of Wynne, a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Blytheville -- David Leon Elliott, 51, mechanic and former employee of J. W. Hall Auto Sales, died Thursday at his home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Wilson Funeral Home with burial in Dogwood Cemetery. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Elliott, the husband of Rachel Bargett Elliott, also leaves a daughter, Dena Elliott Decker of Swifton, Ark.; three sons, Andy Emmert and Tony Emmert, both of Blytheville, and Phillip Emmert of Memphis; his mother, Bonnie McGill Stokes of Blytheville; three sisters, Connie Dillard of Ecru, Miss., Lona Clark of Blytheville and Joyce Chandler of Gosnell; a brother, Roger Elliott of Blytheville, and six grandchildren.

Spencer Jr., Robert Spencer and David Spencer, all of Blytheville, Edward Spencer of Detroit, Eugene Spencer of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Roy Spencer of Austin, Texas, 16, grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Mrs. Donely, the wife of Preston Donely III, also leaves her mother, Bernice Stallings of West Memphis; her father, Freddie Eason of Anthonyville; two sisters, Gloria Stallings Arkadie of Marion and Sharon Stallings of West Memphis, and three brothers, James Mason of San Diego, Gary Mason of Marion and Charles Edward Mason of Surprise, Ariz.

She leaves seven daughters, Ruby Sneed and Linda Riley, both of Memphis, Bobbie Conley, Fannie Oliver and Peggy Ewing, all of West Memphis, and Olive Mae Hill and Helen Washington, both of St. Louis; five sons, Donnie Walker, Larry Crayton, Raymond Crayton and Robert Crayton, all of Memphis, and Elijah Crayton Jr. of West Memphis, 69 grandchildren, 100 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Betty Jean Rodgers, 66, of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., electric motor winder for High Speed Electric in Memphis, died Wednesday in Calico Rock, Ark. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at West Union Cemetery in Millington. Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel has charge. She was a volunteer for Horseshoe Bend Assembly of God Food Bank. Mrs. Rodgers, the wife of Jerry Rodgers, also leaves local survivors including two sisters, Carolyn Daniels of Memphis and Donna Leggett of Arlington, and a brother, Johnny Shavers of Memphis.

Earle -- W.P. 'Buddy' Morrison, 77, retired farmer and banker, died Sunday at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Earle United Methodist Church, where he was a chairman of the administrative board and finance committee, and president of Methodist Men, with burial in Memorial Park in Memphis. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis has charge. He was a World War II Navy veteran, former director and board member of First Southern Bank, former chairman of Memphis University School, board member at Saint Francis Levee Board, Mississippi River Parkway Commission and Union Services Industries, member of Memphis Country Club and Crescent Club, and former president of Earle Rotary Club and Crittenden County Farm Bureau. Mr. Morrison, the husband of Ruth Morrison, also leaves three sons, John T. Morrison, W. Price Morrison Jr. and Joe M. Morrison, all of Memphis; a sister, Carolyn M. Barton of Nashville; a brother, C.E. Morrison Jr. of Earle, and 12 grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Earle United Methodist Church or Memphis University School.

She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Laurel, Miss., and attended Blytheville First Baptist Church. Mrs. Campbell, the widow of Russell Campbell, leaves a daughter, Linda Gracy of Blytheville; two sons, Richard Dyess of New Orleans and Billy Dyess of Citronelle, Ala.; two stepdaughters, Joanne Campbell Jones of Fort Smith and Jeannie Campbell Sevier of Blytheville; a sister, Patricia Wash of Laurel, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society Blytheville Chapter, the American Heart Association Blytheville Chapter or Blytheville First Baptist Church.
