Gosnell -- Robert Terry Nelson, 51, formerly of Blytheville, Mississippi County veterans service officer and retired from the Air Force Reserve, died Thursday at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville with burial in Dogwood Cemetery there. He was a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran, state commander of the American Legion of Northeast Arkansas District Five, a member and former commander of American Legion Post 24 in Blytheville, vice president of County Veterans Service Officers Organization of Arkansas and Blytheville Kiwanis Club and a member of Veterans of Foreign War Post 7057, Marine Corps League of Kennett, Mo., Blytheville Masonic Lodge, National Rifle Association and Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society and attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, the University of South Carolina and Arkansas Northeastern College. Mr. Nelson, the husband of Shoko Nelson, also leaves a son, Jonathan Nelson of Tigard, Ore.; three sisters, Juanita Wallace of White Plains, Md., Patsy Britt of Huffman and Peggie Warren of Manila, and two brothers, Charles Nelson of Paragould and Richard Wayne Nelson of Ramona, Calif. The family requests that any memorials be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.

West Memphis -- Alma Dean Arnett, 86, homemaker, died Thursday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home with burial in Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion. She was a member of West Memphis First Baptist Church. Mrs. Arnett, the wife of Elton Arnett, also leaves a daughter, Lynda Wise of Hughes; a son, Clyde Arnett of Gulf Breeze, Fla., five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to West Memphis First Baptist Church or the American Diabetes Association.

Gatten of West Memphis; two sisters, Mary Duncan of California and Betty Siepela of Spring, Texas; two brothers, Richard Gatten of Houston, Texas, and John Gatten of Louisville, Ky., and three grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to West Memphis First Assembly of God.

Marion 'Goody' Berry, 76, of Sidney, Ark., minister and teacher at Cornerstone Bible Institute, died Friday in Jonesboro, Ark. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro with burial in Nettleton Cemetery. He was a Korean War Army veteran and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Mr. Berry, the husband of Lanell Clairday Berry, also leaves local survivors including a daughter, Marcia Richmond of West Memphis; a son, Mark Evan Berry of Arlington, and 13 grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Cornerstone Baptist Church Camp Ministry.

Mr. Fraley, the husband of Joyce Fraley, also leaves a daughter, Sheila Banks of Cotton Plant; three stepdaughters, Jennie Thompson of Burdette, Lou Ann Cissell of Bassett and Frances Stark of El Mirage, Ariz.; two stepsons, James Cissell of Osceola and Bruce Cissell of Bassett; a sister, Freda Williams of Helena; four brothers, Bill Craig of Bondsville, Clifford Craig of Batesville, Homer Craig of Monette and Larry Craig of Newark, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Abernathy, the widow of Dr. Charles L.
