John B. Oertel 1914 - 2003

John Oertel was born July 1, 1914 at East St. Louis, IL to John George Oertel and Mary Oldroyd Oerel. He married Wilhemina Sadowski on November 26, 1938 at St. Louis, MO. He was a Housing Inspector for University City. He was a resident of Mountain Home, AR since moving from Belleville, IN in August 1980. He served in the US Air Force, and was a Mason. John Oertel entered into eternal rest on February 21, 2003 at Mountain Home, AR at the age of 88 years, 7 months and 20 days.

Eileen F. Olinski was born September 8, 1923 at Chicago, Ill. to Leo and Helen Kosinski Rentfleisch. She married Bernard S. Olinski on June 10, 1944 at Chicago, Ill. She was a member of St. Peter's the Fisherman Catholic Church and a housewife.

Survived by: 2 Sons: James Olinski (wife Barbara) of Palatine, Ill. and Roger Olinski (wife Nancy) of Glen Ellyn, Ill. 2 Grandchildren, 1 Sister: Patricia (Mrs Vincent) Ragano of Bloomingdale, Ill., and many nieces and nephews

Arnold Olson 1922 - 2002

Arnold Keith Olson was born April 23, 1922 at Thor, Iowa the son of Levi W. Olson and Esther Larson. He married Mildred Jean Cornell at Amboy, Minnesota on July 24, 1955 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Amboy in 1978. He served with the US Air Force during World War II and was a farmer. He died in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 12, 2002 at the age of 79.

Survived by: Wife, Mildred Olson; 1 Son, Larry Olson of Mountain Home; 1 Daughter Gretchen (Mike) Stevens of Rogers, Arkansas; 3 Grandsons Joshua, Joe and Jordan Stevens; 2 Great Grandchildren Andrew and Michelle Stevens; 1 Brother, Leon (Marge) Olson of Hampton, Iowa; 1 sister, Lorraine Hart of Humbolt, Iowa

Egnar Olson 1910 - 2002

Egnar N. Olson was born June 18, 1910 at Chicago, Illinois the son of Andrew Olson and Anna Peterson Olson. He married Alice Bodeker at Chicago on August 23, 1937 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Banning, California in 1978. He was a mill wright worker for General Mills.

Elizabeth O'Neill 1914 - 2002

Elizabeth C. O'Neill was born September 14, 1914 at Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Andrew Schuberth and Josepha Kirchner. She married Albert J. O'Neill and resided in the Chicago, Illinois area. She died in Berwyn, Illinois on May 21, 2002 at the age of 87.

Thomas William O'Reilly was born August 7, 1909 at Chicago, Illinois the son of Joseph E. O'Reilly and Margaret O'Reilly. He married Sylvia M. bielskis at Chicago, Illinois on November 18, 1950 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Park Ridge, Illinois in 1980. He was a newspaper editor with a number of articles published in various magazines.He died at Baxter Manor Nursing Home on June 15, 2002 at the age of 92

Ronald Lee Osterhus was born January 3, 1948 at Decorah, Iowa to Richard Osterhus, Sr. and Ida E. Solheim Osterhus. He was self employed in the Auto Body Repair business. He was a resident of Mountain Home, Arkansas. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Ronald Lee Osterhus entered into eternal rest on March 9, 2003 at Mountain Home, AR at the age of 55 years, 2 months and 6 days.

Roger D. Pacchini 1923 - 2003

Roger Dante Pacchini was born April 23, 1923 at Chicago, IL to Gerotne and Rose Bonaguidi Pacchini. He married Mabel Desideri on November 22, 1947 at Cicero, IL and was a Parts Department Manager for Northern Illinois Gas Company. He served in the US Air Force during WWII, from 1942 until 1945. He was a lifetime member of the Ozark VFW Post #3246, and a member of the Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1951. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Roger Pacchini entered into eternal rest on May 10, 2003 at Mountain Home, AR at the age of 80 years and 17 days.

Survived by: He is survived by his Wife - Mabel; 2 Sons - David (Patricia ) Pacchini of Schaumburg, IL and Mark Pacchini and wife Mary of Long Grove, IL; Grandchildren - Ashley, Matthew and Cole Pacchini; 2 Sisters - Mercedes Innocenti and husband George of Roserville, MN June Pacchini of Gurnee, IL; 1 nephew - Father Mark Innocenti of St. Cloud, MN; 1 niece - Karen Bredahl of Holster, WI.

Pauline Palmer - Beukhof 1918 - 2003

Pauline Catherine Palmer - Beukhof was born on January 3, 1918 in Chicago, Ill. to Charles and Pauline Peters Palmer. She married Gilbert Beukhof on October 18, 1941 in Chicago. She was a secretary with a news agency in Chicago. She passed away at her residence in Mountain Home, Arkansas where she lived since 1971 having moved here from Chicago. She was 85 years, 2 months and 21 days of age.

Survived by: 1 Son Paul Palmer (Wife Daina) of Oak Forest, Il. and 1 Sister Eleanor Bourke (husband James) of Downers Grove, Ill.

Preceded in Death by: Parents, Husband, and 1 Brother Robert.

Clara D. Parker 1910 - 2002

Clara D. Parker age 92, of Lakeview Arkansas, died September 24, 2002 at her residence. She was a descendat of two pioneer Baxter County families who came from georgia in 1869 and settled in the Gassville and Colfax communities. She was a great - granddaughter of Colonel James Coffee and the granddaughter of H. K. "Dick" Wilkie and Catherine Coffee Wilkie. Colonel Coffee and Dick Wilkie wre instrmental in building the road from Gassville to Mountain Home along with many other civic improvements. Mrs. Parker was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survived by: 1 son - Ronald D. Parker, McAlester, Ok 1 daughter - Tommye C. Reubin, Lakeview, AR 1 grandchild - Lindley B. (Stephanie) Reubin of Houston, Texas 3 great - grandchildren - Brent A. Reubin of Dallas, Texas, Laura L. (Tom) Trent of Tulsa Ok, and Ann Reubin of College Station, Texas.

Preceded in Death by: Husband, parents, sister - Lula Russell Covention; Hazel Russell Cope, Bonnie Russell Creagh, Marian Whitaker Smothers and Virginia Whitaker Tanner.

Visitation: Thursday September 26, 2002 at Kirby - Boaz Funeral home from 5:00 - 7:00.

Funeral: Friday September 27, 2002 at 2pm at Eastside Baptist Church.

Burial arrangements: Arlington Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City, Ok.

Thomas E. Parks July 25, 1918 - July 10, 2003

Mr.Thomas E. Parks died Thursday July 10, 2003 at Auburn Hills Health and Rehabilitation. He was Born July 25, 1918, at Petersburg, Virginia, to Thomas E. and Lula Vista Danzey Parks. He married Virginia Youell October 5, 1943 at Lakewood, Ohio. He was a Retired Bricklayer and he worked for Garrett Corporation in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida as a Machine Tool Crib Attendant. Mr. Parks was an Army Medic veteran of WWII. Mr. Parks lived in the Mountain Home area for 22 years, moving from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He was a member of American Legion Alley White Post #52 of Mountain Home, and the Bricklayers Union. He was Protestant.

Survived by: He is survived by his wife Virginia Parks of Midway, AR. Two sons Robert T. and Rita Parks of Boca Raton, FL, and David A. Parks of Midway, AR. One daughter Alison R. Parks of Mountain Home, AR. Two Granddaughters Tamara S. and Wayne DeCosta of Lawrenceville, Georgia and Chelsea A. Parks of Boca Raton, FL.

Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister and one daughter Sandra.

Funeral: Memorial Service for Thomas E. Parks 84, of Midway will be at a later date at Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
