Donna Jean May Thompson October 20, 1943 - July 7, 2003
Donna Jean May Thompson was born October 20, 1943 at Springfield, Illinois to Lester Buddy and Shirley Mann May. She married Richard “Dick” Thompson on January 19, 1961 at Jacksonville, Illinois. She moved from Springfield, Illinois to the Promise Land community near Mountain Home in 1975. She was a homemaker and loved crocheting, camping and being with her grandkids. She was past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary. Donna Thompson entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 7, 2003 at University of Arkansas Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 59 years, 8 months and 17 days.
Survived by: She is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Thompson of Mountain Home; two sons, Richard Dale (Doreen) Thompson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Leland (Lori) Thompson of Calico Rock, Arkansas; one daughter, Lori (Darren) Goulet of Pyatt, Arkansas; one brother, Buddy (Kathy) May of Dixon, Missouri; one sister, Bobbi Jo (Joe) Schmidt of Springfield, Illinois; thirteen grandchildren; four step - grandchildren; one great - grandchild, one step - great - grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

with Pastor Stewert Taylor officiating.

Laurence Parker Thompson August 22. 1923 - June 6, 2003
Laurence Parker Thompson, 79, died Friday, June 6, 2003 at his residence. He was born August 22, 1923 at Vernon, Indiana to Edgar Laurence and Mae Marie Parker Thompson. He married Marian Records at Columbus, Indiana on November 4, 1948. He was a pilot with the US Navy during World War II and Korean War then Reserves for 30 years. He worked as a B47 Test Pilot for Boeing Aircraft for 20 years. He had a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from St. Louis University and was a member of Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association & Fleet Reserve Association. He was a member of United Congregational Church in Huntsville, Alabama.
Survived by: He is survived by his wife Marian; daughters Catherine Zack & husband Alan of Woodland Hills, California and Dorine Dincau & husband Michael of Sylmer, California; 6 grandchildren.
Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Joyce Battin.

Gloria Marie Tilley was born July 26, 1934 at Columbia, Illinois the daughter of Alois Martin Schmidt and Ardell Gertrude Kissen. She married Doyle R. Tilley at Mountain Home, Arkansas on November 29, 1955 and had resided in the Gassville area since moving from Columbia, Illinois in 1985. She died at her residence on July 9, 2002 at the age of 67.

Harold Stephen Tucker 1918 - 2003
Harold Stephen Tucker was born in Gassville, Arkansas on May 10, 1918 to Russell and Leone Denton Tucker. He was a lifetime resident of Baxter County. He married Delorna “Deke” Walton on April 8, 1937 at Cotter. He was the body shop foreman for the Ford Motor Company for many years. In 1965 he and his son, Gary, opened Harold’s Auto Parts, from which he retired from in 1980. He passed away on Saturday, April 12,2003 at the Gassville Nursing Center at the age of 84 years, 11 months, and 2 days.
Survived by: He is survived by his wife, Deke, Three Children; Shirley and Luke Poynter, Gary and Bobbie Tucker, and Steven and Belinda Tucker, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren all of Mountain Home; three sisters Charlene Messick of Mountain Home, Maxine McCabe, and Florine Crowley both of California, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by; his parents, two brothers, Dale and Troy, and one grandson, Phillip Poynter.

He married Catherine Mangrum in 1957. He was a buyer for Community college and a Navy Veteran of WWII. He moved to Bull Shoals in 1974 from Seatle Washington. He was protestant.
