Faye Coleman Tvergyak 1907 - 2003

Faye Coleman Tvergyak was born December 7, 1907 at Hendricks, OK to J.D. and Mary Viola Cornelius Coleman. She married Louis G. Tvergyak on April 23, 1949 at San Diego, CA. She graduated from Loyola University with a degree in education. She moved to Mountain Home, AR in 1974 from Libertyville, IL. She moved to Pine Bluff, AR in 1995 where she was currently residing. She taught Jr. High Language Arts in Mauldin, IL and Libertyville, IL. She was a member of the American Association of University Teachers. She taught china painting and organized and was instrumental in bringing it to this area. She was recreation director for the Red Cross during WWII in Fitzsimmons Hospital in Washington DC and the Norman, OK and Great Lakes Training Center. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, and was a member of the Council of Catholic Women. Faye Tvergyak entered into eternal rest on April 11, 2003 at Pine Bluff, AR at the age of 95 years, 4 months and 4 days.

Survived by: She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her husband, 4 brothers, and 1 sister.

Visitation: Visitation will be Tuesday, 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home with a vigil service at 7:00 PM.

Funeral: Funeral Mass for Faye Coleman Tvergyak, 95, will be Wednesday, 2:00 PM at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend James Fanrak officiating.

Burial arrangements: Burial will be in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery

Helen M. Twarowski 1918 - 2003

Helen Kowalski was born November 14, 1918 in Muskgegon Heights, MI to Maryan and Jennie Francis Sliva Kowalski. She married Walter Twarowski on August 20, 1938 in Chicago. She moved to Fort Collins in April 2000 after residing in Mountain Home, AR for 24 years. She was a member of the Mountain Home VFW where she was involved with the ladies auxiliary. She also helped her husband establish the Northern Illinois Fly Tiers Association. Fishing was a love that she enjoyed with her husband and daughter and through the years had gone on many fishing and camping trips.

Survived by: She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Millican of Fort Collins; her granddaughter, Jeannette Benglen of Loveland; her grandson, David Millican of Loveland; her great - granddaughter, Trisha Benglen of Fort Collins; great - grandson, Kyle Millican of Loveland; and two sisters, Jennie Krell of El Cajon, CA and Pauline Zahorski of Palatine, IL.

Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter; and her sister, Margaret Kowalski.

Funeral: Helen M. Twarowski, 84, of Fort Collins, CO, died Saturday, March 22, 2003. A Memorial service will be held, Tuesday at The Chapel at Good Samaritan Retirement Village in Fort Collins, CO. Pastor Leroy Grimm will officiate. A memorial service will be held in April in Mountain Home.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Good Samaritan in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526.

Walter Twarowski 1915 - 2000

Walter Twarowski was born Auguts 16, 1915 at Chippewa Falls, WI the son of Joseph Twarowski and Helen Litka Twarowski. He married Helen Kowalski on August 20, 1938 at Chicago, IL. He had been a resident of Mountain Home since moving fromArlington Heights, IL 21 years ago. He was shipping coordinator for the Container Corporation of American. He founded the Northern Flytiers in Arlington Heights, and created the Northern Illinois Flytiers Association in Arlington Heights, IL. He was Treasurer for the National Flytiers Association and Federation of Fly Fisherman. He was a member of Elks BPOE #1714 in Mountain Home, AR. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Walter Twarowski entered into eternal rest on February 26, 2000 at Mountain Home, AR at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 10 days.

Survived by: wife - Helen Twarowski of Mountain Home, AR; Daughter Darlene (William) Millican of Fort Collins, CO; Grandson - David James Millican of Fort Collins, CO; Granddaughter - Jeannette Rose Benglen of Loveland, CO, Great granddaughter - Trisha Rose Benglen of Loveland, and sister - Leanore Seaway of Chicago, IL

Preceded in Death by: Parents and 3 brothers

Funeral: Friday, March 3, 2000, 11:00 AM at Good Samaritan Village Chapel in Mountain Home, AR

Margaret Ruth Tyree October 17, 1908 - August 13, 2003

Margaret Ruth Tyree entered into eternal rest August 13, 2003 at the age of 94 Years, 9 Months and 26 days at Baxter Manor Nursing Home. Margaret Ruth Tyree was born October 17, 1908 in Washington, D.C. the daughter of Joseph W. Smith and Helen A. Howard. She married Joseph Tyree July 27, 1935 in Forrestville, Maryland. Mrs. Tyree had been a resident of Mountain Home since moving from San Diego, California in 1987. She was an account clerk for the U.S. Government for 26 years. She was a member of Scott Memorial Baptist Church in San Diego, California and a member of the Christian Business Women’s Association.

Survived by: She is survived by:2 sons:Clifton E. Limerick James A. Limerick and wife Betty of Mountain Home. 4 Grandchildren:Paul Limerick and wife Connie of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Lauri Patterson and husband John of Mountain Home, Terri Yankovich and husband Mike of Kent, Washington,Kathi Carlson and husband David of Mountain Home. 7 Great - grandchildren and 2 Great - great - granchildren.

Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and two sisters.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. Sunday at Kirby Boaz Funeral Home.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. August 18, 2003 at Kirby Boaz Funeral Home Chapel.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.

Marvin Lotus Tyree January 10, 1930 - November 5, 2002

Marvin Lotus Tyree was born January 10, 1930 in Randolph County, Arkansas the son of Homer and Ivy Cantrell Tyree. He married Ruth McBee on May 20, 1981 at Kokomo, IN. He was a retired machine operator for General Motors. He was a resident of Elizabeth, Arkansas since moving from Kokomo, IN in 1984. He served in the United States Army in Korea. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, motorcycles, and farming.

Survived by: Wife - Ruth McBee of Elizabeth, AR Daughter - Linda Scott of Kokomo, IN 4 Step Children - Dennis Alger and wife Patty of Kokomo, IN Diana Hickman and husband Jerry of Kokomo, IN Kim Alger of Enola, PA Troy Alger and wife Kathryn of Lafayette, IN 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren Sister - Ruth Kellet of Thayer, MO Several nieces and nephews and cousins Several Aunts and uncles

Burial arrangements: Burial will be at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery in Kokomo, Indiana.

Jean Ester Tyson December 23, 1918 - June 30, 2003

Jean Ester Tyson was born December 23, 1918 to Clinton and Anne Burhman Maynard in Detroit, Michigan. She married Robert Tyson on June 1, 1940 at Flint, Michigan. She was a registered nurse and had resided in Mountain Home, Arkansas since moving from Tuscon, Arizona in 2001. Jean Tyson entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 30, 2003 at Baxter County Regional Hospital in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 7 days.

Survived by: She is survived by one son, James Tyson; two daughters, Lynn (Larry) Kitson of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Margaret (Steve) Evans of Millington, Michigan and four grandchildren.

Preceded in Death by: Her husband, one son, one brother and one sister.

Funeral: Private

Mary Lilly Uebelacker 1915 - 2003

Mary Lilly Uebelacker was born February 28, 1915 at Milwaukee, WI to Joseph and Johanna Machery. She married Anton Uebelacker on Feb 4, 1933 at Milwaukee, and was a retail sales clerk. She was a resident of Flippin, AR since moving from East Troy, WI in 1995. Mary Uebelacker entered into eternal rest on January 16, 2003 at her residence at the age of 87 years.

Survived by: Daughter - Shirley Wilson and husband Ken of Flippin, AR Son - Ralph Uebelacker and wife Joyce of Burlington, WI 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter Daughter in law - Jean Eubelacker of Janesville, WI

Harold Neil Underhill 1943 - 2002

Harold "Neil" Underhill of Bull Shoals was born on October 9, 1943 at Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Alvin L. and LaNelle Marie Hester Underhill. He married Joanne G. Bonnema on March 31, 1997. He was an Electronics Instructor with the US Navy and a member of the Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church. He passed away on May 20, 2002 at his residence at the age of 58 years, 7 months, and 11 days.

Survived by: Wife - Jo Underhill of Bull Shoals, 2 Sons - Brian Underhill (Stephanie) of Glendale, Az. and Douglas Underhill (Wendy) of Pensacola, Fl. 1 Step son - Jim Gazin of Hereford, AZ and a step daughter - Laura Gazin of Bull Shoals, Ar. Grandchldren - Justin and Alexis Underhill of Glendale, AZ, Brittany and Bret Underhill of Pensacola, FL., Jeffrey Gazin of Hereford, AZ and Michael Gazin of Bull Shoals, Ar.

Funeral: Memorial Services were held on May 26, 2002 at the Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church with Dr. Fred Taylor officiating.

Additional Notes: Volunteer Bull Shoals/White River Chamber of Commerce ofice manager for 3 years, Member and volunteer Bull shoals Theater of Arts,Tour guide for Bull Shoals Dam for 3 years, and a Volunteer computer teacher.

Bonnie Jean "Sadie" Underwood 1950 - 2002

Bonnie Jean "Sadie" Underwood of Memphis Tennessee was born August 29,1950 in Gassville, Arkansas to Zerold and Flora Yochum Owen. She was a financial consultant in Memphis, Tennessee and a Methodist. She passed away at her residence in Memphis on February 6, 2002 at the age of 51 years, 5 months, and 7 days.

Survived by: 1 Son - Chris Hoover (Debbie) of Gilbertsville, Ky, 1 Daughter - Jennifer Johnson (Jason) of Greensboro, NC. Grandchildren - Meghan and Jason Weber 5 brothers W.H. Owen of Mesquite, Nev., Art Owen of Oskaloosa, Kansas, Ivan Owen of Kansas City, Kansas, Larry Owen of Shelbyille, Ind. and Ray Owen of Milan, Ill., 3 sisters - Mary Schultz (Bob) of Bull Shoals, Ann Moon and Bobbie Gaines both of Lead Hill,Ar.

Funeral: Memorial Services were held on February 11, 2002 at the Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home Chapel in Bull Shoals with Reverend James Barton officiating.

Burial arrangements: Burial was in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.

Additional Notes: She loved the outdoors, the lakes,the ocean, and her family.

Evelyn Vajarsky 1916 - 2002

Evelyn Vajarsky died February 2, 2002 at the Baxter Manor Nursing Home. She was a housewife and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home. She was married on November 30, 1940 to her husband Joe Vajarsky at Chicago, Illinois.

Survived by: Husband: Joseph Vajarsky of Mountain Home, AR; 1 Daughter, Donna Peterson of Orange, Texas; 1 sister, Catherine Young of Florida 4 Grandchildren many nieces and nephews
