Mrs. Dodd

Mrs. Donna Kay Dodd, 47, of Lafe, died Monday at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector.

Smith

Marvin Lee Smith 73, of Colt, died Sunday in an automobile accident at Colt. He was a member of the Farmers Association and a member of Ellis Faith Assembly. He was the owner and operator of a sawmill in Colt.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Morris Smith of Colt; six sons, David Smith, Murray Smith and Larry Smith, all of Wynne, Andy Smith of Colt, Marvin M. Smith of Harrison and Roy Smith of Knoxville, Tenn.; three daughters, Jeanne Wolfe of Wynne, Linda Pierce of Jonesboro and Patty S. Ruesing of Greenbrier; two sisters, Pauline Hodges and Minnie Proctor, both of Wynne; two brothers, B.F. Smith of Wynne and Frank Smith of Cherry Valley; 27 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 this afternoon at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home in Wynne, with Elzie Frazier and David Yates officiating. Burial will follow in Barnishaw Cemetery in the Pine Tree community.

Active pallbearers will be Lynn Blake, George Clegg, Tony Clegg, Woodrow Holman, Jimmy Ray McKee and Stanley McKee.

Honorary pallbearers will include Sonny Hamilton and Roy Sanders.

For individuals who wish to leave memorials, the family has asked that consideration be given to Ellis Faith Assembly or Barnishaw Cemetery.

Folckemer

Joint funeral services for James Paul "Shorty" Folckemer, 70, and his wife, Mrs. Lola Folckemer, 65, of Knobel, who died Saturday in a traffic accident in Rockford, Ill., will be held at 11 Thursday morning at the Corning Church of Christ, with Don McGuirt officiation. Burial will follow in Bond Cemetery in Knobel under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home.

Born in Knobel, Folckemer was a retired ground leader for the shaft department of Emerson Electric. He was a veteran of the Navy and a member of the Knobel Church of Christ.

Mrs. Folckemer was a self-employed beautician and a member of the Knobel Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Rainwater of Knobel and Lola Gail Boyd of Paragould; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Folckemer is also survived by a sister, Myrtle McIntosh of Parma, Mo. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the Knobel Cemetery Association or the American Diabetes. Association.

Mrs. Price

Mrs. Verna Price, 80, of Paragould, died Friday at Arkansas Methodist Hospital. She was a former lunch room manager for Oak Grove, Lafe and Marmaduke schools. She was a member of the Grace United General Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Darryl Price of Paragould; one brother, Russel Murdoch of Cabot; two sisters, Joyce Clark and Ida Terry both of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Price.

A graveside service will be held Monday morning at 10:30 at Greene County Memorial Gardens in Paragould, with Rev. Richard Stevenson officiating. Heath Funeral Home of Paragould has charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be this evening from 6 until 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Waddill

Mrs. Hester Waddill of Jackson, Tenn., formerly of Grubbs, died Saturday at Jackson.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Jackson's Newport Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hess

Mrs. Mary Agnes Ancel Hess, 95, of 1212 Woodruff County Road 391, Wynne, died Friday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in McCrory.

Survivors include one daughter, Agnes Ball of Wynne; two sisters, Frances James and Elizabeth Coley, both of McCrory; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in McCrory, with Tom Marks officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery at Brinkley, under the direction of Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home of McCrory.

Bobby Ancel, Tommy Ancel, Charlie Coley, Bobby Hess, Freddie James and Vincent Mohr will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be this evening from 6 until 9 at the funeral home, with a rosary service to be held at 7.

For lasting memorials the family asks that consideration be given to St. Mary's Catholic Church of McCrory.

Mrs. Reddmann

Mrs. Jessie Blanche Reddmann, 87, of Harrisburg, died Saturday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home.

McQuay

Stanford McQuay, 84, of 1613 West College, Jonesboro, died Saturday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center. Born at Walnut Ridge, he had lived most of his life in Jonesboro. He was a retired truck driver for the former Superior Forwarding Co. of Jonesboro. He was a member of the Teamsters Union where he served as a job steward for 15 years and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Jonesboro Worship Center.

Survivors include his wife, Luvenia McQuay of the home; three sons, Clifford McQuay and Billy McQuay, both of Jonesboro, and Jerry McQuay of Tinley Park, Ill.; one daughter, Barbara Widner of Jonesboro; one sister, Lily Wells of Doniphan, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one son.

Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 at the Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro, with Rev. Stephen Judd officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers will include the Men's Bible Class of Jonesboro Worship Center.

Visitation will be from 5 in the afternoon until 8 Monday evening at the funeral home.

For lasting memorials the family asks that consideration be given to the Jonesboro Worship Center.

Mrs. Graves

Mrs. W.D. "Bea" Graves, 88, of 502 Elm Street, Lepanto, died Saturday at Regional Medical Center of NEA in Jonesboro. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lepanto and was a past president of the Lepanto Garden Club. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include one daughter, Jean Casey of Lepanto; one brother, Floyd Morgan of Harrisburg; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 at Murphy Funeral Home of Lepanto, with Greg Dills officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be this afternoon from 4 until 6 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that consideration for lasting memorials be given to the Friends of the Lepanto Library Fund. Call 870-475-3584 to donate.

Mrs. Thomas

Mrs. Mary M. Thomas, 80, of Tuckerman, died Saturday at the Pinedale Nursing Home in Newport. She was a homemaker and a nursing aide in Florida.

Survivors include two sisters, Colleen Hale of Benton and Sally Eagan of Mt. Vernon, Texas; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Thomas Shepard and Bill Thomas; one son; three brothers two sisters and by one grandchild.

A graveside service will be held Monday afternoon at 3:30 at Dowell's Chapel Cemetery in Tuckerman. Jackson's Newport Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Honorary pallbearers will include Allen Cordell, Kenny Deal and James Troy.

Visitation will be this afternoon from 2 until 6 this evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smallwood

Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Smallwood, 73, of Black Oak, who died Friday at her daughter's home in Schertz, Texas, will be held Monday afternoon at 2 at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette, with Rev. J.W. Gibbs officiating. Burial will follow in the Monette Cemetery.

Nieces and nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Smallwood was a homemaker and a member of the Black Oak Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Smallwood of Schertz; one son, Jim Smallwood of Black Oak; two brothers, W.G. "Tood" McLaughlin of Black Oak and Albert McLaughlin of Harrison; two sisters, Lola Parker of Indianapolis, Ind., and Glena Osborn of Paragould; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Smallwood.

Visitation will be from 1 until 4 this afternoon at the funeral home.
