Mrs. Rodgers

Mrs. Della Ann Rodgers, 55, of Trumann, died Friday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center. Born in Jonesboro, she lived in Trumann most of her life. She was a nurse's aide and had worked for the Arkansas Area Agency on Aging. She was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Trumann.

Survivors include one daughter, Gayla Greer of Trumann; three sons, Charles Rodgers and Steven Rodgers, both of Elkhart, Ind., and Tony Rodgers of Trumann; two sisters, Mary Vickers of Jonesboro and Patsy Vickers of Trumann; two brothers, James Williams and Bobby Williams, both of Trumann; and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Bessie Williams and by one grandchild.

Funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 1:30 at Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann, with Rev. Shelby Shelton and Rev. Kenny Green officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Victor Rodgers, Steven Rodgers, Tony Rodgers, Anthony Greer, James Williams and Kelly Vickers.

Visitation will be this afternoon from 5 until 8 this evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. McKinney

Funeral services for Mrs. Janet "Jan" McKinney, 62, of Jonesboro, who died Thursday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center, will be held at 2 this afternoon in the chapel of Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro, with Rev. Ed Underwood and Rev. Craig Miller officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Scott Watkins, James McKinney, Blake Barber, Dale Miller, Jesse McKinney and Randy Garner.

Born in Trumann, she had lived in Jonesboro for 28 years, moving from California.

She was a retired administrative secretary at Arkansas State University. She was a member of Arkansas State Retired Employees, the Gideon Auxiliary and the Nettleton Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Doyle R. McKinney of the home; one son, David R. McKinney of Jonesboro; one daughter, Karen Underwood of Wichita Falls, Texas; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Barber of Jonesboro; one sister, Donna Watkins of Jonesboro; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.

Visitation will be from from noon to 2 this afternoon at the funeral home.

For individuals who wish to leave memorials, the family has requested that consideration be given to the Gideon Auxiliary.

Mrs. Broadway

Mrs. Fannie Era Broadway, 71, of 1504 East Randolph, Pocahontas, died Saturday at her residence.

Survivors include her husband, Jerrell Broadway of Pocahontas; four sisters, Mary Simpson of Phoenix, Ariz., Martha Edwards of Little Rock, and Louise Simpson and Fern Coonce, both of Pocahontas; and four brothers, Russell Ellis of Light, Dan Ellis of Pocahontas, Percy Ellis of Maynard and Jack Ellis of DeWitt.

She was preceded in death by one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 10 Monday morning at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas. Burial be will in Randolph Memorial Gardens in Pocahontas.

Visitation will be from 5 this afternoon until 8 this evening at the funeral home.

Swetnam

Johnnie Alvin Swetnam, 84, of the Ash Flat Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Ravenden, died Monday at the nursing home.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Higginbotham Funeral Service of Hardy.

Mrs.Thompson

Mrs. Mary Deckelman Thompson, 76, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Harrisburg, died Sunday at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Morris Memorial Primitive Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Thompson.

Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Davis of Memphis, Tenn., and Bobbie Waxler of Germantown, Tenn.; three brothers, Thaddeus Deckelman of Millington, Tenn., James V. Deckelman of Collierville, Tenn., and Donald L. Deckelman of Jonesboro; three sisters, LaVerne Rush of Collierville, Tenn., Sylvia Dunkerson of Paris, Tenn. and Joy Webb of Millington, Tenn.; and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at 1 in the chapel of Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home with burial following in Harrisburg Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 this evening at the Memphis Funeral Home in Memphis and on Wednesday afternoon from noon until time of services at Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home.

Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Webb

Harold Glen Webb, 57, of the Union Hill Community near Thida, died Sunday at the White River Medical Center. He was a self-employed television repairman and a member of the Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and by one brother.

Survivors include two brothers, Dale Webb of Jefferson City, Mo., and Chester Vincent Webb of North Little Rock; five sisters, Reba Tarpley and Velma Hoffman, both of Newport, Marietta Gray of Star City, Sue Paulette of North Little Rock and Carolyn Smith of Jacksonville.

Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 2 at the Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Onas Lee Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Browns Memorial Cemetery in Union Hill under the direction of Jackson's Newport Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 Wednesday afternoon until 8 that evening at the funeral home.

Lawrence

Funeral services for Henry Norton Lawrence, 72, of Paragould, will be private. A public visitation will be this evening from 6 until 9 at Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould.

Lawrence died Friday at his home. He was a nurse's aide at the David Puryear Center and a farmer. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one stepson and six brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline Lawrence of Schugtown; one son, Quentin Spurlock of Cave City; two stepdaughters, Jackie Landon of Washington and Robin Spurlock of Corpus Christi, Texas; one brother, J.D. Lawrence of Paragould; two sisters, Althie Carpenter of Mount Morris, Mich., and Elsie Howard of San Jose, Calif.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Spence

Funeral services for Allen Dale Spence, 55, of Fort Pierce, Fla., who died Friday at his residence, will be at 11 Wednesday morning at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with the Rev. Ricky Dobbins officiating.

Burial will be in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include the nephews. Honorary pallbearers will include Dub Hutcherson and Clyde Sullivan.

Born in Trumann, he had lived in Fort Pierce since 1979. He was a line operator for the World of Plastics in Fort Pierce and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, P. Ernestine Spence of the home; one daughter, Robin Spence of Fort Pierce; one stepdaughter, Sharron Wright of Fort Pierce; three stepsons, Junior Laminack, Charles Laminack and Rickey Laminack, all of Birmingham, Ala.; his father, Add Bertig Spence of Trumann; four sisters, Alice McPherson, Clytee Willis, and Mavis Campbell, all of Trumann, and Joann Mullins of Bono; two brothers, Jr. (Buddy) Spence of Trumann and Billy Spence of Jonesboro; a granddaughter; and five stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, one half-sister, and one nephew.

Visitation will be from 5 this afternoon until 8 this evening at the funeral home.

Cupler

Gerald Clinton Cupler, 81, of Oil Trough, died Sunday at his residence.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Church of Christ.

Survivors include one son, Gerald Wayne Cupler of Batesville; one daughter, Joyce Ann Cupler of Oil Trough; three granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Webb Cupler; an infant son; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 9 Wednesday morning at Maple Springs Cemetery in Oil Trough under the direction of Dillinger Funeral Home of Newport.

Visitation will be from 6 until 9 this evening at the funeral home.

Wheelington

Greg Wheelington, 35, of Harrisburg died Monday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home in Harrisburg.
