Berniece Bryson, 80, died Friday, Sept. 3, 2004.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one son, Andy Bryson of Jonesboro; three daughters, Rose Lee Bishop and Janice Williams of Paragould, Peggy Harpole of Cabot; one brother, Mack Wince of Paragould; two sisters - Darlene Phillips of West Memphis, and Shirlene Miller of Leesburg, Fla.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Craig Allen Kuske
Craig Allen Kuske, age 29, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004.
His mother, Brenda Carnes Dunlap of Shreveport, La.; two sisters - Summer Stubbs of Georgia and Autumn Miller of Florida; his grandmother Ada Carnes of Lonoke survive him.
Funeral services were September 7, at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke, with intermenty in Hicks Cemetery.
Pauline Marie Quandt Mattmiller, 88, of Hamburg died Friday.
She was a native of Arkansas Post; a resident of Hamburg since 1949 and a former resident of Gillett. She worked at Harrison’s Department Store in Hamburg for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she was an active member of the United Methodist Women for many years and a member of the Rolf Whitlow Sunday School Class.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Hennington of Hamburg; a sister, Freddie Barnett of Cabot; two grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday at the First United Methodist Church in Hamburg. Burial was in the Hamburg Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg.

Orville T. Thompson
Orville Thomas Thompson, age 92, of Beebe, died Sept. 3, 2004.
Survivors are his children, Willie Mae Thompson Nemec of Eureka Springs, Bobby Ray Thompson of Upland, Calif., Mary Margaret Phillips of Beebe, and Hays Thompson of Cabot; nine grandchildren, 14 greatgrandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and one step-grandson.

Pearl Dobbins Gray
Pearl Dobbins Gray, 94, of Cabot, (formerly of North Little Rock) died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004. She accepted Christ as her savior as a young girl at Antioch Baptist Church, Zion, and attended the First Assembly of God Church while living in North Little Rock.
She is survived by one daughter, Helen J. Smith of Cabot; one grandson; one granddaughter; three great-grandsons; and one great-granddaughter. She is also survived by one sister, Velta Owen of Batesville.
Visitation was Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service was at Rest Hills Memorial Park, Sherwood.
Loyse Wilson, 71, of Austin, died Sept. 9, 2004. Survivors include his wife, four daughters; one son; and two grandsons.
Visitation was Monday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral was 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2004, at Sixteenth Section Methodist Church, with burial in Center Point Cemetery.
Floyd Williams, 83, formerly of Lonoke, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004.

C. Zane Hankins
C. Zane Hankins, 67, of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Boyd Hankins; two daughters, Belinda DeAnn Hankins Miller of Jacksonville and Andrea Lea Hankins Glenn of Cabot; two grandchildren; one sister, Lenola “Toni” Poff of Desha; two brothers, Charles W. Hankins of El Dorado, and Bobby N. Hankins of Jonesboro.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville where he was currently serving as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, GROW Captain and on several committees. He devoted much of his time and resources to the building program at First Baptist Church over the past 15 years. He was a member of the Razorback Lettermen’s Club and the Arkansas Alumni Association. He served in the U.S. Army before beginning his career as a high school basketball coach, having coached in Mayflower, Cabot, Clinton and Jacksonville. After retiring from coaching, he was an insurance agent for Shelter Insurance until he and his wife, Judith, became the owners-operators of United Abstract and Title Co. Inc. in Jacksonville and Cabot. He was an active member of the National Federation of Independent Businesses and was currently serving on the Board of Trustees of Rebsamen Medical Center in Jacksonville.
Funeral services were Sept. 13, at the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville followed by intermenty in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.

Mary Jane Overton
Mary Jane Wilson Overton, 85, of Scott died Sept. 7, 2004.
She was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church and an officer of United Methodist Women’s Group. She worked at Tuff-Nutt and Finkbeiner’s Meat Packing Company.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula Overton of Scott; sister, Hazel Miller of Scott; a grandchild; two greatgrandchildren.

Kenneth Lurel Coots, age 73, of Searcy, died Sept. 7, 2004.
Survivors include daughter, Peggy Johnson of Cabot; son, Dexter Lynn Coots; one sister, Wilma Martin of Cave City; two brothers, Don Coots of Searcy and Lloyd Coots of Saltillo, Miss.

Riley Stevens, age 86, formerly of the Sardis Community, died Sept. 11, 2004.
He was a member of Pleasant Hills Baptist Church in Sardis and the Bryant Senior Adult Center. He was a retired bus driver from Central Arkansas Transit.
He is survived by his children, Frankie Noel of Mabelvale, Phillip Stevens of Hot Springs, and Sue Adams of North Little Rock; one brother, John Stevens of Cabot; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sept. 14, in the Chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, Alexander, with burial at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Memorial Park.

Joe S. Henderson
Joe Stephen Henderson Jr., 60, of England died Sept. 12, 2004.
He was a farmer and member of the England United Methodist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Paula Marshall Henderson of England; sons, Joe S. Henderson III of Little Rock and Frank J. Henderson of Texarkana; a brother, Pat H. Henderson of Tucker; his mother, Nancy Mabel Henderson of England; and two grandchildren.
Funeral was Sept. 14 at Roller-England Funeral Home, with burial in Mulberry Cemetery.

Howard Dean Tow
Howard Dean Tow “Dino”, age 18, of Austin, passed away November 29, 2004. Born November 17, 1986 in Amarillo, Texas to Leonard R. Tow and the late Eileen Laneeta Collins Tow.
He is preceded in death by his mother Eileen Tow.
Survivors include his father Leonard Tow of Austin; his twin brother Bruce Jeremy Tow of Austin; brother Leon Tow and sisters Crista & Michelle Tow all of Texas; grandparents Willa Dean & Pete McAnally, Leonard J. & Rosalee Tow all of Cabot and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Collins of Amarillo, Texas; great-great grandmother Myrza Tow of Amarillo, Texas; six special aunts: Lois Winn of Austin; Bobbie Kay Whitaker of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Tiffani Tow of Amarillo, Texas; Debbie, Jackie & Claire Collins all of Texas; two special uncles: Bruce Winn of Austin & Gary McAnally of Amarillo, Texas; along with numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
