Raymond Mac Walter, 35, of Alexandria, La., and formerly of Hampton, died Thursday, Sept. 26.
He was the son of the late Angeline Williams and Lonnie Golden and was a truck driver.
Survivors include a son, Jarmarlon Tompkins of Boyce, La.; a daughter, Courtney Walter of Little Rock; three sisters, Angela Randall and Patricia Thrower, both of Hampton and Jo Ann Williams of El Dorado; two brothers, Freddy Thompson of Conway and Chris Williams of Tulsa, Okla.; two grandchildren; three step-children; an uncle, two aunts and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Baptist Church in Hampton with burial in St. Paul Cemetery.
Reddick Funeral Home of Camden is in charge of arrangements.

Rev. Robert Harris
Rev. Robert A. Harris, 69, of Camden died Tuesday at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Harris of Camden and a brother, Elgie Sims of El Dorado.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Kelly and Rev. J.H. Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Calion.
Visitation will continue until 6 p.m. Friday at Reddick Funeral Home.

Margaret Griswould, 100, of Hamburg, died Tuesday, July 30, at Smackover Nursing Home.
She was a native of Union County and a resident of Ashley County before moving to Smackover where she had lived for the past eight years. She was a homemaker, a member of Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church and Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cavie Williams of Smackover; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Promise Land Cemetery with the Rev. Kenny Williams officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Promise Land Building Fund, P.O. Box 30, Hamburg, AR 71646.

Elmore Hempstead, 61, of Smackover, died Saturday, July 27, in Medical Center of South Arkansas.
He was born Sept. 14, 1940, in Camden, and was a grocery store owner.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Hempstead of Smackover; five sons, Terry Brown of Smackover, Elrando Hempstead of Bearden, Marlo D. Hempstead of Detroit, Mich., Angelo F. Hempstead and Zikomo D. Hempstead, both of El Dorado; two daughters, Laprino L. Hempstead of Smackover and Faycento Hempstead of El Dorado; five sisters, Ervene Ware and Emma Buchanan of St. Louis, Pauline Hayley and Charlene Hempstead of Rockford, Ill., and Willie B. Gulley of Chidester; six brothers, Raymond Thrist of Camden, Elbert Thrist and Ralph Thrist of Kansas City, Mo., Oliver Thrist and Paul Thrist of Rockford, and Emmett Thrist of Buffalo, N.Y.; 22 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Smackover with Rev. Jack Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Sweet Caanan Cemetery.

Era Ball Stocks, 91, of Smackover, died Sunday, July 28, at Medical Center of South Arkansas.
She was born Jan. 13, 1911, in Bingen, the daughter of the late Joseph Reeder Ball and Mary Emma Gosnell Ball. She retired after 30 years as an elementary school teacher for the Smackover School District, was a member of Maple Avenue Baptist Church where she was also active in the WMU, and was an active home extension club member.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, J.T. Stocks. Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Linda and Wayne Shelton of El Dorado and Mary and James Langley of Smackover; two grandsons and their wives, Jimmy and Sarah Langley of Smackover and Eric and Maurine Wheatley of Camden; granddaughters Janie Wheatley of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Kim Williamson and husband, David Williamson of Magnolia; great grandchildren, Evan and Easton Wheatley of Camden, Colby, Jessica and Madison Williamson of Magnolia; and a niece, Emmalou Meier.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Maple Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Lawrence Harrison officiating. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery in El Dorado.
Memorials may be made to Maple Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund, 1306 Maple Avenue, Smackover, AR 71762.

Arminta Dorcus Cowan, 96, of Mulberry died Saturday, Feb. 10, in the Methodist Nursing Home at Fort Smith.
She was born Dec. 26, 1904, in Mulberry to Dow M. Minnie Harris McGehee. She graduated from Galloway College in Searcy in 1926, which was the Methodist Girls School that merged with Hendrix College. In October 1926, she married Herschel H. McClurkin of Stephens. Following his death she returned to Mulberry where she was a partner in the McGehee and Company Mercantile, a pianist and Sunday School teacher at Mulberry Methodist Church. In 1956 she married Wallace Cowan who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Herschel H. McClurkin Jr. of Alma, and John Dow McClurkin of Mulberry; a step-son, Wallace C. Cowan of Russellville; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one step grandchild; two step great-grandchildren; and one step great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Mulberry United Methodist Church with burial in New Cemetery in Mulberry.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

The Rev. Gordon Reddin, 85, of Sherwood died Monday, Feb. 12.
He was born May 10, 1915, at Woodberry to Ira Buchannan and Ida Victoria Gordon. He attended Columbia Bible School in Magnolia and Central Baptist College in Conway. He served as pastor for many churches in Arkansas, was editor of the Baptist Trumpet, a director of the Baptist Missionary Association Children's Home, moderator of the BMA of Arkansas, and assistant moderator of the BMA of America. He was a past president of the North Little Rock Lions Club, active in masonry with both Royal Arch and Scottish Rite degrees, served as Worshipful Master of Southern Star Lodge No. 53 in Hampton, and was the current master of Crescent Lodge No. 403 in North Little Rock.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Annie Morrison Reddin; a daughter, Frankie Brown of Sherwood; a son, Dr. Randall Reddin of Pine Bluff, a brother Ralph Cottrell of Tyler, Texas; two sisters, Blanche Barnes of Camden and Ruby Sebasta of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Greater New Hope Baptist Church formerly Parkview Baptist Church in North Little Rock with the Rev. James Ray Raines and the Rev. Ralph Cottrell officiating. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy in North Little Rock from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Harry D. Smith, 64, of Camden died Monday, Feb. 12, in Ouachita County Medical Center.
He was a former manager of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Store in Camden and a member of Westside Baptist Church in El Dorado.
Survivors include his wife, Melba "Bitsy" Smith of Camden; three sons, James Randall Smith and Robert Bradley Smith, both of Camden, David Scott Smith of Calion; and a sister, Vera Jean Lee of Camden.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Smackover Cemetery.

Rev. Jimmie Lee "J. L." Caldwell, 73, of Bearden, died Tuesday, April 17, in the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock.
He was born Jan. 2, 1928, in Bearden. He was a Baptist minister at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Thornton and Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Banks and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Mary L. Caldwell of Bearden; one son, Jimmie Caldwell, Jr. of Little Rock; four daughters, Linda Caldwell and Forrestine Caldwell both of Little Rock, and Rosemary Caldwell and Helen Marvette Caldwell both of Bearden; his father, Floyd Caldwell of Bearden; one brother, Jessie E. Caldwell of Los Angles, Calif.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday at F.O. Jones Auditorium in Bearden with Rev. Calvin Carroll officiating. Burial will be in Moss Cemetery.

Minnie Lee Green, 67, of Saginaw, Mich., and formerly of Camden, died Friday, April 13, in Monroe, La.
She was born May 22, 1933, in Camden and was a housekeeper.
Survivors include her husband, Otis Green of Saginaw; four sons, Henry Green, James Green and Terry Green all of Saginaw and Fred Green of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a daughter, Denise Green of Saginaw; a sister, Mazola Wilson of Bastrop, La.; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Christian Church in Camden with Rev. Willie Lovette officiating. Burial will be in Eternal Rest Cemetery.

Bobby H. Morrison, 70, of Camden died today, April 20, in the Arkansas Heart Hospital.
He was retired from International Paper and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Morrison of Camden; three daughters, Deborah Langley, Libby Morrison and Ashleigh Morrison all of Camden; a sister, Versia Redd of Sherwood and one grandson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Proctor Funeral Home with Rev. James Ray Raines and Rev. Winfield Piker officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery.
