Ramon held several positions, working in the late 40’s and early 50’s for Southern Pacific Rail Road in Rodeo, New Mexico, to his true passion where he excelled as an automotive mechanic and an accomplished and very sought after transmission re-builder. Ray was a successful businessman as the owner of Superior Transmissions for several years until his retirement. Still after his retirement, people would look for Ray at his home for his “superior” services.

God looked around his garden, and He found an empty place. And then He looked down upon the earth, and saw your tired face. He put His arms around you, and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb, so He closed your weary eyelids, and whispered "Peace be thine." It broke our hearts to lose you, But you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you, The day God called you home.

Dad’s sense of humor and quick witted sarcasm will never be forgotten….

Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose.

I love you Viejo…..We will miss you….You were a great Dad, Grandfather, Great-grandfather, brother and friend…..
