Raeann C. Stephan died on Friday, July 19, 2002 in Lake Havasu City. She was born in Rome, New York on January 2, 1958.

She graduated from Nazareth College in Rochester, New York and worked in her field of speech and hearing therapy until she and her husband and daughter moved to Lake Havasu City in 1984.

During her eighteen years in Lake Havasu City, she was employed as a speech and hearing therapist in the public school system, taught in the Bethany Christian School and was active in the Havasu Christian Home Educators group. Her many skills in the arts and crafts were recognized by those who participated in her stamping and scrapbooking classes. She was devoted to her family and a born-again believer, faithful in the Lord's work.

Raeann is survived by Eric, her husband of almost 21 years; her daughters Jessica (Saulo) Salomon and Laura Stephan all of Lake Havasu City; her sister Gloria Lewin and three nephews of the Syracuse, New York area. Her husband's parents Bruce and Shirley Stephan of Lake Havasu City; his brother, four sisters and their families share the loss.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday July 24, 2002 at the Bethany Bible Church with Pastor Jerry Adams officiating. Contributions to the Bethany Bible Church Memorial Fund or to Hospice of Havasu will be greatly appreciated by the family.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

David Paul Mongeon, 50, passed away on July 18th, 2002 at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Az. He was born on October 29th, 1951 in Dearborn, MI., to Leo Mongeon and Norma "Abare" Mongeon.

David moved to Lake Havasu City, Az. 3 years ago from Royal Oak, MI. He worked as a telemarketer for Travel Service Network in Lake Havasu City, Az.

He is survived by his wife Linda Mongeon of Tucson, AZ., sons Gregory Mongeon of Kalamazoo, MI., William Pofffenbarger of Lake Havasu City, Az. Daniel Mongeon of Tucson, Az., daughters Angela Ashton of Lake Havasu City, Az., Rebekah Baker of Warren, MI., Sarah Mongeon of Tucson, AZ., mother Norma Dunn of Lake Havasu City, Az., brothers Austin and Thomas Mongeon both of Lake Havasu City, Az., Richard Mongeon of Phoenix, Az., sister Theresa Mongeon of Lake Havasu City, Az. and 9 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday July 23rd, 2002 at Church of Nazarene Wesley Chapel at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor John Sweeney officiating.

Virgil Frederick Day, 86, passed away in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on July 18th, 2002. He was born in Flint, Michigan on March 8th, 1916 to Martin Day and Anna Catherine "Hecker" Day.

He worked as a warehouseman for 9 years at McCulloch Corp. in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He moved to Arizona 52 years ago from Flint, Michigan where he was a journeyman machinist for General Motors then he moved to Phoenix and worked for Reynolds Metals.

He then traveled around for a few years before settling here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Virgil is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Helen Day of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and a sister Marcelyn Bohl of Upland, California. Donations may be made to a favorite charity of your choice in Virgil's name.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Robert John Helmick Sr., 78, passed away in Lake Havasu City on July 12th, 2002. He was born to Bernard Essex Helmick and Elizabeth "Heuss" Helmick on October 31st, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois.

He has been a resident in Lake Havasu City for 18 years moving here from Chicago, Illinois. Robert is a member of the American Legion, NRA and Eagles and was veteran of WWII in the USAF.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Charlene A. Helmick of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, son Robert J. Helmick Jr. of Portage, Indiana, sister Cheryl Murray of Plainfield, Illinois, grandchildren Mark, Jessica, Taylor and Kristen.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 18th, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel with Pastor Mel Soderberg officiating. Burial will be at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity in Bob's memory.

Estelle Lavada Clark, 77, passed away in Lake Havasu City, Arizona July 12, 2002. She was born February 13, 1925 in Clearwater, Florida to Carl & Buena "Layfield" Jernigan.

Estelle moved to Lake Havasu 9 years ago from Mitchell, Nebraska.

She is survived by her son Chip Allen Clark of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughter Sheilla Clark of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; brother Bobby Jernigan; sister Jean Wilkenson of Largo, Florida and 5 grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by so many.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Elizabeth Marie Bonsall, 78, passed away on July 10th, 2002 at Havasu Nursing Center in Lake Havasu City, Az. She was born on October 24th, 1923 in Glenn Mills, PA.

Elizabeth worked as a nurses Aide for 2 years at Lake Havasu Community Hospital.

She is survived by her husband Samuel Lewis Bonsall.

Timothy J. O'Donnell Jr., 82, passed away on July 9th, 2002 at his residence in Lake Havasu City, Az. He was born on June 2lst, 1920 in Sharon, MA. to Timothy J. O'Donnell and Flora "Ducharm" O'Donnell.

Tim served in the US Army during WWII in the 211th, Coast Artillery. He moved to Lake Havasu City in 1974 and built, owned and operated Blue Water Shell on the corner of Lake Havasu Ave. and Industrial Blvd., before retiring in 1988.

Tim is survived by his wife Jean, 2 daughter and 3 stepsons; Karen Williams of Del City, OK., Deb Santana of Payson, AZ., Peter Beard of Stoughton, MA., Warren Beard of N.Easton, MA., Glenn Beard of Franklin, MA., 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He has not left a void, but a lifetim of love.

Richard Jesus Perez, 67, passed away on July 9th, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on October 15th, 1934 in Los Angeles, California to Jesus Perez and Beatrice "Esparza" Perez.

He worked as a truck driver for Lucky Stores in Buena Park, California for 40 years. He moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona 4 years ago from Los Angeles, California.

Richard is survived by his companion Teresa Abeytia of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, sons Richard Perez Jr. of Torrance, California, Robert Perez of Santa Barbara, California, Steven Abeytia of Phoenix, Arizona, daughters Sandra Cerda of Chino Hills, California, Rachel Cortinas of Whittier, California, Angela Romero of Phoenix, Arizona and Fay Abeytia of Phoenix, Arizona, sister Alice Morales of Northridge, California, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

There will be no services per family request.
