Brian George Pulk died Sunday Feb. 20, 2000 in Dolan Springs. He was 35.

Mr. Pulk was born Sept. 1, 1964 in Salinas, Calif. He was a computer programmer.

Mr. Pulk is survived by: his parents, George W. and Annie R. Pulk.

Visitation for Mr. Pulk will be held 9-11 a.m. Saturday Feb. 26, 2000 at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home. Pastor Ronald Fair will perform a funeral service at 11 a.m..

Sutton Crematory is handling cremation.

Ralph A. Nebbergall

Ralph A. Nebbergall died Friday, Feb. 18, 2000 in Kingman. He was 83.

Mr. Nebbergall was born March 12, 1918 in Jamestown, Ohio. He was a painter.

Mr. Nebbergall moved to Kingman in 1992.

He is survived by: daughter Carol Gates; and two sons, Charles and Martin Nebbergall.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday Feb. 24, 2000 at Fraternal Order of Eagles, 4536 N. Patsy Dr.

Alice Marie Price

Alice Marie Price of Golden Valley died Monday Feb. 14, 2000 in Kingman. She was 68.

Mrs. Price was born May 4, 1932, in Burley, Idaho. She married Joseph Clair Price, on Oct. 3, 1947. They were married for 53 years and had four sons, Joseph Clair Price Jr., Rocky Neil Price, Kregg L. Price, and Danna Edward Price.

Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her beloved son Danna.

From 1956 until 1988 Mrs. Price resided in Pocatello, Ida., where she owned and operated the A. M. P. Construction Company. She has resided in Golden Valley since 1992.

Mrs. Price is survived by three sons, Joseph Clair Price Jr., Rocky Neil Price, Kregg L. Price and her husband, Joseph Price.

Services will held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday Feb. 22 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kingman Ward. Brother Frank Brown will officiate.

Hubert L. Henry

Hubert L. "Hank" Henry died Wednesday Feb. 16, 2000, in Kingman. He was 75.

Mr. Henry was born Oct. 16, 1924, in Beaman, Iowa, and came to Mohave County 37 years ago from California. He was a welder and a member of First Assembly of God.

Mr. Henry is survived by: his wife of 43 years, Helen; two sons, Gary Henry of Winnemucca, Nev., and Ronald Henry of Avondale; two daughters, Cheryl Melander of Tolleson, and LeAnn Henry of Springfield, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Donna Nickey of Kingman, and Peggy DeHoet of Ames, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents, one brother, and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday Feb. 21, 2000, at the First Assembly of God Church. Pastor Dan Briles will officiate.

Helen Margaret Jensen

Helen Margaret Jensen of Kingman died Thursday Feb. 3, 2000 In Phoenix. She was 69.

Mrs. Jensen was born Jan. 24, 1931 in Pelican Rapids, Minn. She graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1949. On Feb. 18, 1950, she married Glen Jensen. In 1964, she moved to Kingman were she was a charter member of Grace Lutheran Church, past president of the GLCW, a member of the Kingman Art Guild and a Cub Scout den mother. She also worked for the Mohave County Sheriff's Department.

Mrs. Jensen is survived by: husband Glen Jensen of Kingman; three daughters, Deborah Fleming, Karen Hammer, and Noel Hood, all of Glendale; two sons, Greg Jensen and William Jensen, both of Kingman; 12 grandchildren; brother Walter Spidahl of Fergus Falls, Minn.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Inga T. Stras and Julius J. Spidahl; and five siblings.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000 at Grace Lutheran Church.

Brandon J. Newland

Brandon J. Newland died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000 in Kingman. He was 14.

Brandon was born on April 10, 1985 in Kingman. He was a student at Kingman High School South campus.

Brandon is survived by: his mother, Bonnie Couch of Kingman; his stepfather Tracy Couch of Kingman; two sisters, Randi Turner and Kyla Couch, both of Kingman; one brother, Timothy Craycraft of Kingman; grandparents Bill and Pearl Turner of Kingman; grandmother Norinne Norton of Phoenix; grandmother Beth Wheller of Kingman; great-grandparents Marvin and Ruth Dennis of California; great-grandmother Ruth Turner of California; great-grandmother Mae Roeder of California; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Rex Turner.

Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday Feb. 18, 2000 at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the same location.

Clyde Russell Shook

Clyde Russell Shook died Friday Feb. 11, 2000, in Kingman. He was 85.

Mr. Shook was born Dec. 15, 1914, in Newton, Ill., and came to Mohave County 27 years ago from California. He was a tool and dye maker, builder and finished carpenter. He was a member of the Kingman Kutups Square Dance Club, the lapidary club and the Good Sams. He was a history buff who had traveled extensively throughout the U.S.

Mr. Shook is survived by: his wife of 63 years, Hilda Jane Shook; two daughters, Carol Cudney of Kingman, and Patricia Disney of Golden Valley; one sister, Ethel Johnson of California; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday Feb. 19, 2000, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Pastor Stefan Radu will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Johns United Methodist Church, 1730 Kino Ave., Kingman.

Viola Christine Parker

Viola Christine Parker of Kingman died Saturday Feb. 5, 2000, in Purcell, Okla. She was 86.

Mrs. Parker was born June 2, 1913, in Jasper County, Wakefield, Ill., and came to Kingman 15 years ago from Illinois. She was a retired registered nurse. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. She was a member of the Catholic Church.

Mrs. Parker is survived by: her children, Mary Bergbower of Newton, Ill., Rita Parker of Lowisville, Ill, Tim Parker of Kingman, Frances Cox of Kingman, and Martha Burris of Washington, Okla.; one brother, Franklini Geier of Newton, Ill., and two sisters, Lavera Correll of Newton, Ill., and Mary Ellen Rauch of Jewett, Ill.

Services were held Thursday Feb. 10, 2000, at the Holy Cross Church in Wendelin, Ill. Burial was in Old St. Peter Cemetery, Newton, Ill.

Lillian V. Eichman

Lillian V. Eichman of Golden Valley died Sunday Feb. 13, 2000, in Kingman. She was 87.

Mrs. Eichman was born Dec. 1, 1912, in Chicago, ill. She had been employed as a maintenance worker at Nebsco Steel Co. in Hammond, Ind., and also was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Eichman is survived by: one daughter, Lorraine Tucker of Golden Valley; one son, Donald W. Richter of Miller, Ind.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one niece.

A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 16, 2000, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday Feb. 17, 2000, also at Sutton., The Rev. Bob Cutlipp will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial donations the St. Johns United Methodist Church Endowment Fund, 1730 Kino, Kingman 86401.

Joseph Sabach

Joseph Sabach died Sunday Feb. 13, 2000, in Kingman. He was 69.

Mr. Sabach was born March 28, 1930, in Dupont, Pa. He had been employed as a security officer at the Mohave Generating Station in Laughlin, Nev., and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a Vincentian and a volunteer for St. Vincent de Paul in Kingman. He served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Sabach is survived by: his wife, Margaret Sabach; one stepdaughter, Evelyn Fedele of Kingman; one stepson, Charles Murphy of Kingman; two sisters, Mary Butler of Medford, and Ann Dickens, both of Medford, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with Rosary at 6 p.m., on today - Tuesday Feb. 15, 2000 - at Sutton Memorial Funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday Feb. 16, 2000, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Father James Alling will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial donations to Kingman Cancer Care, P.O. Box 561, Kingman 86402.

Jerry Lee Cowens

Jerry Lee Cowens died Friday Feb. 11, 2000, in Kingman. He was 56.

Mr. Cowens was born Aug. 21, 1943, in Stillwell, Okla. He was a truck driver and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Mr. Cowens is survived by: his wife, Ida Marie Cowens; two daughters, Robin Cowens of Aurora, Colo., and Melanie Johnson of Mesa, Ariz.; four sons, Teddy Johnson of Mesa, Ariz., Todd Cowens of Aurora, Colo, Tim Johnson of Mesa, Ariz., and Brenda Szabo of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Connie Cowens of Sacremento, Calif.; one brother, Jim Cowens of Moulton, Ala.; and two grandchildren.

No services were held. Cremation was handled by Sutton Crematory.

Reba Vernell Palmer

Reba Vernell Palmer of Kingman died Wednesday Feb. 9, 2000, in Las Vegas, Nev. She was 87.

Mrs. Palmer was born Dec. 11, 1912, in Sapp, Mo., and was a homemaker.

She is survived by: her husband, Spencer Palmer of Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Donna L. Dunham of Kingman, and Janice E. Freeman of Las Vegas; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday Feb. 17, 2000, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. also on Thursday at Sutton. Father Lawrence Falance will officiate. Burial will be in MountainView Cemetery.

Blanche Whetton Peterson

Blanche Whetton Peterson, a former Kingman resident, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000 in Friendwood, Texas. She was 94.

Mrs. Peterson was born in September of 1906 in Chihuahua, Mexico. She lived in Kingman from 1942 until about 1980. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, taught seminary, served as the president of the Relief Society for 17 years and served on a local school board.

Mrs. Peterson is survived by: two daughters, Arliegh and Ruth; and son Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Flay Peterson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, in California.

Pamela Closs Burgiss

Pamela Closs Burgiss died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000, in Kingman. She was 51.

Mrs. Burgiss was born July 20, 1948 in Downey, Calif. She came to Kingman from Flagstaff in 1996. She worked as a waitress and cook and restaurants in Arizona and Colorado.

Mrs. Burgiss is survived by: her husband, William Burgiss; three sons, Ken Closs and Adam Closs of Kingman, and Scott Closs of Flagstaff; four stepsons, Randall Burgiss of Milaca, Minn., John Burgiss, Tony Burgiss and Donald Burgiss, all of Cleveland, Tenn.; stepdaughter Kaye McDaniel of Tellico Plains, Tenn.; two sisters, Nan Pearson of California and Jan Ottwell of Illinois; one brother, Dave LaValley of Flagstaff; stepmother Chris Mansker of Yuma; and seven grandchildren.

Cremation will be handled by Sutton Crematory. A memorial service will be held on July 20, 2000 at Whitehorse Lake.

Dorothy A. Murray

Dorothy A. Murray died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000, in Kingman. She was 79.

Mrs. Murray was born Nov. 24, 1020 in Aurora, Ill. She came to Kingman from Phoenix 13 years ago. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Murray is survived by: her husband, Clayton Murray of Kingman; two sons, Eugene Murray and Lyle Murray, both of Phoenix; daughter Gloria J. Murray of Phoenix; brother Carl Linden of Riverside, Calif.; sister Shirley Porter of Azle, Texas; ten grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix. Cremation was handled by Sutton Crematory.

Lucille Cabral

Lucille Cabral died Monday Feb. 7, 2000, in Kingman. She was 72.

Mrs. Cabral was born Sept. 12, 1927, in San Dimas, Calif. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Cabral is survived by: her husband, Joseph M. Cabral; one daughter, Linda Kelly of Kingman; two sons, Russell McArthur of Kingman, and Ray Schile of Fontana, Calif.; two brothers, Alvie Claiborne of Redding, Calif., and Ernest Chaves of Kingman; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by: one son, Steven McArthur, in 1984.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday Feb., 11, 2000, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sutton. Pastor Dan Briles will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Lucille Denson

Lucille Denson, a former Kingman resident, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2000, in Cloverdale, Calif.

She had lived in Kingman for 27 years.

Mrs. Denson is survived by: one daughter, Elsie Howell of Cloverdale, Calif.; two sisters Loraine Jettun and Florene Valentine of Mo.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her husband Dewey Denson; and two sons, Travis and Trueman Denson.

No services are planned.

Memorial donations can be made to: Memorial Hospice, 558 B St., Santa Rosa, Calif., 95401.

Rachel O. Moore

Rachel O. Moore Williams, formerly of Kingman, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2000 in Idaho. She was 65.

Mrs. Williams was born on Sept. 10, 1934 in Salmon, Idaho. She grew up near Sandy Creek, Idaho and attended schools in Lemhi County, Idaho. She graduated from Salmon High School. For two years she attended nursing school in Pocatello, Idaho. In 1963 she moved to Tucson where she worked as a waitress and cook. Over the next several years she moved to locations in Idaho, Washington and Arizona, including Kingman. At different times she owned a restaurant and a bar. She retired in 1984.

Mrs. Williams was a past president of the VFW Auxiliary No. 10386 and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary No. 14 in Kingman. She volunteered for the senior center in Kingman.

Mrs. Williams is survived by: brother McKay Moore of Seattle, Wash.; two sons, Monte James Brown of Salmon and Carroll Scott Brown of Phoenix; and four grandsons. She was preceded in death by: parents Corbin James and Faith Alfreda Trowbridge Moore; and son Patrick Michael Brown.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, at the Salmon United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Salmon Cemetery.
