“Teddy” Treva-Jane Tryon, 79, of
Superior, passed away on Wednesday,
December 14, 2005. Mrs.
Tryon, an Avon sales rep. was
born in St. Louis, Missouri. Mrs.
Tryon is survived by her husband
Jim; niece Stacey Dawson and great niece
Christina. Services were held
at Fairview cemetery on December
16, 2005. Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.

Donald Louis Harrison
Donald Louis Harrison, 67, of
Reinbeck, Iowa passed away on
Tuesday April 18, 2006. Mr.
Harrison, a owner/operator of Shell
Oil Company was born in Tama
City, Iowa. Mr. Harrison is survived
by his wife Carol; daughter Carolyn
Smeral; son Donald Harrison, Jr.
and three grandchildren. Services
were held on April 30, 2006 at
Apache Junction Mortuary.

Joe "Cowboy Joe" Henson
Joe "Cowboy Joe" Hensen, 77, of
Gold Canyon, "Rode into the sunset"
on Monday, May 8, 2006. Mr.
Hensen, a rancher, was born in
Chillicothe, Texas and is survived
by daughters JoAnn Tate, Debra
(Gary) Nin, and Susan Alvin; son
Bill (Rhonda) Hensen; sisters
Gladys White, Betty (Bill)
Jennings; brothers Pete (Barbara)
Hensen, Lee (Ella Mae) Hensen,
Claude (Eulene) Hensen; three
grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Apache Junction
Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Ella Mildred Higgins
Ella Mildred Higgins, 86, of Apache
Junction, passed away on
Wednesday, May 10, 2006. Mrs.
Higgins, a seamstress, was born
in Pittsburgh, PA and is survived
by daughter Sally; son Harry; sister
Carol; brother William; five
grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Apache Junction
Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Joan M. Peck
Joan M. Peck, 74, of Apache Junction,
passed away on Monday,
May 8, 2006. Mrs. Peck, an advertising
manager, was born in Troy,
New York. Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.

Raymond Chesley Robertson
Raymond Chesley Robertson was
born on July 17, 1931 and died on
May 8, 2006. He was born in Belle,
Missouri to Thomas Monroe
Robertson and Mamie Lee
(Basham) Robertson. He grew up
in Belle, MO, and spent most of
his adult life in Cedar Rapids, IA
where he owned Robertson TV. In
1982 he moved his family to Apache
Junction, AZ where he owned The
Chef's Inn. Raymond was a very
smart businessman and prided himself
on his sales technique.
He had a great ability to make
people laugh and lived his dream
through his sons who are professional
musicians. He was a good
man in his heart. Surviving brothers
and sisters are Iva Jane Schultz,
Ronald, and Elmer Robertson of
Belle, Missouri; and Harold
Robertson of Rolla, Missouri. Surviving
children are Dennis
Robertson of Chandler, Arizona,
Valerie Gavin of Austin, Texas,
Arlea Stasser of Goodland, Kansas,
Dianna Robertson of Jacksonville,
Florida, Gene Sproston of
Houston, Texas, Thomas Ray
Robertson of Mesa, AZ, Randy
Robertson of Gold Canyon, AZ
and Rick Robertson of Mesa, AZ,
five step-children, 26 grandchildren
and many great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Sassmans
Funeral Service in Belle, MO.

Donna M. Simpson
Donna M. Simpson, 62, of Queen
Creek, passed away on May 6,
2006. Mrs. Simpson, a homemaker,
was born in San Pablo, California
and is survived by her husband
Daniel Simpson. Services were
held on May 13 at Apache Junction
Mortuary. Memorials may be
sent to the Simpson family.

Mary Ann Theesfield, 74, of Mesa,
passed away on Monday, May 8,
2006. Mrs. Theesfield, a homemaker,
was born in Delphos, Ohio. Services
to be held out of state.

Merum L. Walters, 73, of Apache
Junction, passed away on Tuesday,
May 9, 2006. Apache Junction
Mortuary handled the arrangements

Karin Cassandra Brooks
June 15, 1953 - May 6, 2006
Sadness was felt and expressed throughout town on Saturday, May 6,
2006. One of our loyal employees passed away unexpectedly early
Saturday morning in her sleep. Karin Brooks worked at Goldfield for the
last two years and pretty much made Goldfield her home. She was
loved by many and we will miss her dearly. Services will be held at the
Church of the Mount on May 20, 2006 at 4:00 pm Reception follows at
Mammoth Steak House. Karin is survived by family and many friends.

Nelson Donald Adams
Nelson Donald Adams, 66, of
Apache Junction, passed away on
Sunday, July 2, 2006. Mr. Adams, a
factory worker, was born in Mt.
Morris, Michigan. Mr. Adams is
survived by his wife Jean; daughter
Amy; son Eric; sister Nelba and
brother John. Apache Junction
Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Lloyd D. Brabaw
Lloyd D. Brabaw, 83, of Queen
Creek, passed away on Saturday,
July 1, 2006. Mr. Brabaw, a carpenter,
was born in Canton, New York.
Mr. Brabaw is survived by his wife
Betty; daughters Becky, Joni, Autumn
and Sheila; sons Lloyd, Mike,
Danny and Bobby; sister Rosie;
brothers Roy, Joseph and Chuck;
13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Doneen Theresa Lademan
Doneen Theresa Lademan, 67, of
Apache Junction, passed away on
Tuesday, July 4, 2006. Mrs.
Lademan, a homemaker, was born
in East Detroit, Michigan. Apache
Junction Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Robert J Purtee'
Robert J Purtee', 74, beloved husband,
father and grandpa, passed
away peacefully at home July 5,
2006. Mr. Purtee' is survived by his
wife of 52 years, Mary; sons Bill,
Ed and Tracy; daughters Avanell
& Iolene; 17 grandchildren and 18
great-grandchildren. Robert owned
his own business, Bob's Trailer
Moving, since 1978 here in Apache
Junction. He also served in the US
Air Force during the Korean War.
He was loved by many and will be
deeply missed. In lieu of flowers,
the family asks that donations be
made in Robert's name to P.O. Box
471, Apache Junction, AZ 85217.

Jonathan King Yoder
Jonathan King Yoder, 66, of Mesa,
passed away on Tuesday, July 4,
2006. Mr. Yoder, a truck driver, was
born in Peoria, Illinois and is survived
by his daughters Tracy and
Katie and son Jason. Services were
held on July 8, 2006 at Templo Berea
in Phoenix. Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.

Robert Edmond-Puthoff Goodrich
Robert Edmond-Puthoff
Goodrich, of Scottsdale, passed
away on Monday, June 12, 2006.
Mr. Goodrich, a maritime engineer,
was born in San Bernardino, Ca.
Apache Junction Mortuary

Robert F. Habel (Pete)
Robert F. Habel, age 61, passed
away on June 17, 2006. Mr. Habel,
formerly of Toledo, Ohio, was a
resident of Apache Junction for
the past 14 years and is survived
by his wife Margaret; son Jeffery
of Ohio and five grandchildren.
Proceeding Mr. Habel in death
were his sons Anthony and Christopher.
Arrangements are being
handled by Wymans in Mesa, with
services to be held in Ohio.

Anthony G. Marasco
Anthony G. Marasco, 53, of
Apache Junction, passed away
on Wednesday, June 21, 2006. Mr.
Marasco, a mason, was born in
Detroit, Michigan. Apache Junction
Mortuary handled the arrangements.

John W. Rogers, III ?"Jay-Bird"?
John W. Rogers, III, of Gold Canyon,
passed away on June 9, 2006.
Jay was born December 6, 1977 in
Baltimore, Maryland. Jay attended
North County High School in
Linthicum, MD. He lived in Glen
Burnie, MD until moving to Gold
Canyon in December 2000. He was
the banquet manager at Gold Canyon
Golf Resort for 4 years where
he was loved and respected by
many. He enjoyed playing tennis,
football, basketball, darts, pool, and
most of all, his many friends. He
also loved to sing country music.
Survivors include his long time
companion and true love Tabby
Oliver of Gold Canyon; his mother
Jaqueline Rodrick of Bullhead City,
AZ; his father John W. Rogers, Jr.
of Glen Burnie, MD; sister Christain
Rogers and brother Brian Midgette,
both of Glen Burnie; sister Kerrie
Thomas of Nevada; aunt Karen
Cantor of Littlestown, PA; uncle
Mike Gillespi, Sr. of Havre de Grace,
MD; cousins Michael E. Gillespi,
Jr. of Danville, IL, Jill M. Feinstein
of San Antonio, TX, Kelly A. Myers
of Glen Burnie, MD; second cousins
Noah and Sofia Feinstein of San
Antonio, TX; Jay's friends at Gold
Canyon Resort, his secondary family;
the Toby Family, and his best
friend Cory Parent of Apache Junction.
A memorial service was held
at Gold Canyon Golf Resort on
June 15, 2006.

James Lee Coulson
James Lee Coulson, 67, of Apache
Junction, passed away on Monday,
July 10, 2006. Mr. Coulson, a
machine operator, was born in
Ohio. Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.

Ralph Carl Deutsch
Ralph Carl Deutsch, 77, of Apache
Junction, passed away Thursday,
July 13, 2006 in Scottsdale, AZ. Mr.
Deutsch, a security guard was born
in Jordan, Minnesota. Apache Junction
Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Dave Schiller
Dave Schiller, 64, of Apache Junction,
passed away on Monday, July
17, 2006. Mr. Schiller, a truck driver,
was born in Racine, Wisconsin and
is survived by his wife Cindy; sons
David, Daniel and Darren; sister
Kathy; three grandsons and one
pending granddaughter. Visitation
was held on July 21, 2006 with
Apache Junction Mortuary handling
the arrangements.
