Arley L. Keith, 61, of Apache Junction,
passed away on Wednesday,
November 9, 2005. Mr. Keith, a
computer engineer, was born in
Paris Island, South Carolina. Mr.
Keith is survived by his wife
Nancy; daughter Susan and one
grandchild. Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.

Harland W. Little
Harland W. Little, 83, of Apache
Junction, passed away on Tuesday,
November 8, 2005. Mr. Little, a GM
plant worker, was born in Flint, Michigan.
Mr. Little is survived by his wife
Roberta; daughters Linda and
Debbie; sons Ronald and George;
eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Apache Junction
Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Kathy Lynn Martin
Kathy Lynn Martin, 42, of Apache
Junction, passed away on Monday,
November 14, 2005. Mrs.
Martin, a homemaker, was born in
Big Bear, California. Mrs. Martin
is survived by her husband Edward;
daughters Ashley, Kyla,
Joy and Randa and son Justin.
Services were held on November
20 in Queen Creek. Apache Junction
Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Ellen K. Price
Ellen K. Price, 67, of Apache Junction,
passed away on Saturday,
November 11, 2005. Mrs. Price, a
maintenance personnel, was born
in Cincinnati, Ohio and is survived
by her husband Allen; daughter
Karen; sons Leslie and Randy and
five grandchildren. Services were
held at Valley Baptist Church in
Mesa on November 11, 2005.
Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.

Rudolph J. Walneck
Rudolph J. Walneck, 81, of Gold
Canyon, passed away on Thursday,
November 10, 2005. Mr.
Walneck, a retail store owner, was
born in Chicago, Illinois and was
a Guadalcanal Marine Veteran.
Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.

Rodger “Job” Bassenburg
Born November 24, 1946
Died November 16, 2005
Rodger Bassenburg, nicknamed
“Job,” passed away Friday, November
16, at 4:30 a.m. from liver failure
in Show Low, AZ. He was 58 years
old. Job was a traveling man who
moved from Alabama to Apache
Junction and lived here for 15 years.
Job is survived by many friends, as
well as friends who considered him
family. He was loved by many and
we will remember him fondly for years
to come. Thanks to Susan James,
Donald Hughes, Ed Mosier and
TwoEagles for taking Job to Show
Low for the medical care he received
and for seeing that his final days
were untroubled and dignified. Job
wished to be cremated and for his
ashes to be scattered across the Superstition
Mountains.

Frank Brant
Frank Brant, 92, of Apache Junction,
passed away on Thursday, November
17, 2005. Mr. Brant, an operating
construction engineer and former
president of the Operating Engineers
Local 324, was born in Yugoslavia.
Mr. Brant was preceded in death by
his wife Amy and son Jack. He is
survived by a son Paul (Patricia)
Brant; daughters Bonnie (Joseph)
Klapec, and Janice Wrazen; brother
Charles (Mary) Brant; sister Mary
(Andy) Adkins; 13 grandchildren; 23
great-grandchildren and 4 greatgreat-
grandchildren. Mr. Brant was a
sculptor and carver and has works
on display at the Superstition Mountain
Museum and the Boyce Thompson
Arboretum. Funeral Services will
be held in Michigan. Apache Junction
Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Joyce H. Crawford
Joyce H. Crawford, 63, of Apache
Junction, passed away on Thursday,
November 17, 2005. Ms. Crawford, a
homemaker, was born in St. Albins,
Virginia. She is survived by a daughter,
two sons, seven sisters, four
brothers, six grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren. Apache Junction
Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Willard Nutt
Willard Nutt, 50, of Apache Junction,
passed away on Friday, November
11, 2005. Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.

Clare Ann Sowa
Clara Ann Sowa, 52, a licensed practical
nurse, passed away on Saturday,
November 19, 2005. Ms. Sowa
was born in Joliet, Illinois. Apache
Junction Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Albert Campbell
Albert Campbell, 79, of Mesa,
passed away Thursday, October
27, 2005. Mr. Campbell, a welder,
was born in Belfast, Ireland. Mr.
Campbell is survived by his wife
Barbara. Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.

Sandra Jean Jones
Sandra Jean Jones, 69, of Apache
Junction, passed away on Sunday,
October 30, 2005. Mrs. Jones, a
collections manager, was born in
Hamburg, Iowa and is survived by
her husband Paul. Apache Junction
Mortuary handled the arrangements.

John A. Wolfe
John A. Wolfe, 67, of Mesa, passed
away on October 21, 2005 after a
illness. A distant relative of
Frank Chemalic, John was born
on March 23, 1938 in Cedar Rapids,
Iowa to John and Theodora
Wolfe. After graduating from
Wilson High School in 1955, John
served in the Marine Corp in
San Diego and Hawaii until 1958.
Shortly after the Marine Corp
he went to work for Linkbelt
Speeder/FMC in Cedar Rapids.
After moving west, he established
his own lawn care business until
retirement. John is survived by his
wife Shirley of 46 years; son and
daughter in law Doug and Julie
Wolfe of Apache Junction; daughter
Carri Wolfe of Mesa; six grandchildren
Dana Clark, Apache Junction,
Mathew Wolfe USMC of
Cherry Point, NC, Jeffrey &
Jonathan Marshall of Chicago, IL;
father John W. Wolfe of Marion,
IA; two sisters Polly Binko of Cedar
Rapids, IA and Sandy
Hartgrave of Melbourne, Fl and
brother Bob Wolfe of Las Vegas.
He is preceded in death by his
mother Theodora. In lieu of flowers,
please make a donation to the
Aplastic Anemia and MDS Foundation
at PO Box 613, Annapolis,
MD 21404 in memory of John A.
Wolfe.

John R. Burgess Sr.
John R. “Jack” Burgess Sr., an 18
year resident of Raindance Park in
Apache Junction passed away
peacefully in his sleep on September
28, 2005. Born in Greeley, Nebraska,
he moved to Chicago, Illinois
at age 11. He owned a home
delivery milk business for 40 years
before retiring to Arizona. He was
the loving husband of the late Rosemary
Allen for 65 years, beloved
father of nine, Patricia (Ray) Hosick
of Crete, IL., Jacqueline Campbell
of Chicago, IL., John “Jack”
(Phyllis) Burgess Jr. of Salisbury,
MD., James Richard “Dick” (Mary)
of Chandler, AZ, the late Thomas
(Marilyn) Burgess of Oak Forest,
IL., the late Daniel (Donna) Burgess,
Kathleen Thorsen of Apache
Junction, AZ, Sharon (Daniel)
Hecker of Burbank, IL and Regina
“Tina” (Carmen) Roti of Burbank,
IL: Grandfather of 27, great-grandfather
of 27 and great-great-grandfather
of 4. A memorial service will
be held at St. George Catholic
Church, 300 E. 16th Ave. in Apache
Junction on Monday October 10,
2005. The rosary will be said at 9:30
a.m., followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m.

Eleanor May Endsley
Eleanor May Endsley, beloved wife
of Jack, and mother of Char, Barb,
Magy, Ralph and Jacklyn passed
away October 3, 2005. Ely was born
in Riverside, CA on July 12, 1926.
After marrying Jack and raising five
children in Haslett, MI, Eleanor
worked for the State of Michigan.
After retiring Jack and Ely traveled
across America for several years
and then settled in Apache Junction.
Eleanor loved people, dancing,
playing cards, flowers, traveling,
her family and Las Vegas.
Eleanor was a grandmother of ten
and great grandmother of three.
She is also survived by a sister Barbara
Alderete, sister-in-law Jean
Rice, son-in-laws Chuck Rodriguez,
Mike Edington, Keith Bujold and
daughter-in-law Tammy Endsley.
There will be private family services.
Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.

Raymond C. Gardner
Raymond C. Gardner, 80, of Apache
Junction passed away Wednesday,
September 28, 2005 in Tempe, AZ.
Mr. Gardner a Draftsman was born
in Indianapolis, IN. He is survived
by his wife Maxine, daughters
Deborah and Diane, son Daniel, 6
grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Services will be held out
of state. Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.

Lily G. Gunderson
Lily G. Gunderson, 72, of Puyallup,
Washington, passed away on
Thursday, September 29, 2005.
Ms. Gunderson, an airline mechanic
technician, was born in
Bowman, North Dakota. Services
will be held at a later date. Apache
Junction Mortuary handled the
arrangements.

Russell F. Hart
Russell F. Hart, 47, of Mesa, died
suddenly on October 3, 2005.
Russ grew up in Reading, MA,
and graduated from Reading
Mem. HS in 1976. He lived in
Weymouth, Ma for several years
before relocating to Arizona. He
was the loving husband of Kathy
Hart and devoted father of
Michael and Michelle Hart. He
was the son of the late Alfred and
Dorothy Hart and the brother of
Lorraine and Steve Dennis of
Reading, Christine Hart of
Abington, MA, Michael and Jean
Hart of Tequesta, FL, and the late
Nancy Hart. He was the beloved
uncle of Matt and Meggie Dennis
of Reading and Andrea Hart
of Tequeta, FL. He was employed
by ADP inc., and worked for Bank
of Boston for 12 years prior to him
moving to AZ to become an independent
computer consultant. He
was a very active volunteer for
the Red Mountain Little League
as an umpire. He was also one of
the founding fathers of “Save Our
Sonoran” when he lived in Cave
Creek, AZ. A memorial service will
be held on Sunday, October 9, at
3:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist
Church, 239 Woburn St.,
Reading, MA. Friends are invited
to join in the “celebration of his
life” and attend the reception in
the church hall immediately following
the services. In lieu of flowers,
a college fund has been set
up for his children. Michelle is a
freshman at Mesa Community
College and Mike is a senior at
Skyline H.S. and hopes to enroll
at University of Colorado when
he graduates. Donations may be
sent to the Russell Hart Memorial
Fund, Massbank-Reading, 159
Haven St., Reading MA 01867.
