Mable Luella Anderson passed away on Friday, August 8, 2003 at Havasu Nursing Home. She was 96 years of age. Mable was born on December 20, 1906 at Garfield Table in Lincoln County Nebraska to Jacob and Stella (Dillon) Smith.

She spent her childhood on the family farm and graduated from Arnold High School in Arnold, Nebraska in 1926. Following graduation from high school she went to Chicago, Illinois and graduated from National College of Chiropractic.

Mable followed her dreams and became a Doctor of Chiropractic in Buffalo, Wyoming. She later moved to Arizona and there met her husband, Carl Anderson of Mayer, Arizona. They were married on December 6, 1943 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had one son, William, presently of Lake Havas City, Arizona.

Mable was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; her parents, Jacob and Stella Smith; her four brothers, Lloyd Smith, Lyle Smith, Bill Smith and Mynor Smith. She is survived by her son, William of Lake Havasu City.

A private service was held and cremation followed. Her ashes were to be distributed in an undisclosed location.

Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Nathan Keeler Harrington, passed away on October 18th, 2003 at Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on September 23rd, 2003 in Phoenix, Arizona.

He is survived by his parents, George and Rebecca Harrington of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brothers Michael and Joseph Harrington of Lake Havasu City, AZ; grandmother Rosemary Dunham and grandparents Bruce and Lucille Harrington.

Funeral services will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Sunday, October 26th, 2003 at 10:00 AM with Chaplain Katherine Kenney officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens, Lake Havasu City, Az.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Marie Sophia Dinnocente, 80, passed away on October 16th, 2003 at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Az. She was born on September 17th, 1923 in Warren, Ohio.

Marie moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 4 years ago from Las Vegas, Nv. She worked as a checker for Balians Market in Culver City, CA; for 32 years.

She is survived by her loving husband Richard Donnocente of Lake Havasu City, Az; son Richard Donnocente of El Segundo, CA; sister Kay Ste. Marie of Las Vegas, Nv; and 2 grandchildren.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Paul Norman Davey passed away at his residence in Lake Havasu City, AZ. on September 2nd, 2003 at the age of 73, following a brief illness. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on June 3rd 1930 to Clyde and Minnie Davey. At age 3, Paul and his family moved to Southern California where he lived for 58 years. While living in California, Paul worked as an architect for the Fluor Corp. in Irvine. Prior to begining his career as an architect, he served his country during the Korean Conflict, serving in the United States Air Force.

Paul was an active member in Rotary for which he was president of his local chapter and also belonged to the Masonic Lodge both organizations in California. In Lake Havasu City, AZ. he was a member of the Elks and Eagles. Among the many things Paul enjoyed were boating, motocycling and golf.

Paul is survived by his wife of 48 years, Gloria, sons Dan Davey and Lance Davey both of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brother Wayne Davey of Sun City, CA; grandsons Bryan and Chris and his friend and companion, his dog Georgina.

In lieu of flowers, the Davey family requests that donations be made in his name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Az. 86405

A celebration of Paul's life will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday, September 20th, at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dale Ray officiating. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the families home.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Hortense A. Witt, 93, passed away on October 3lst, 2003 at her residence in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on April 28th, 1910 in Springhill, KS to Jay D and Dot (Hines) Young. At an early age Hortense learned the violin and became a virtuoso violinist.

Hortense moved to Lake Havasu City, Az 3 years ago from Washington State. She was a court reporter in Kansas City before moving to Washington State where she worked as a legal secretary for Dano, Cone & Frazier Law Offices in Ellensburg, WA for 40 years. She was a member of the Springhill, KS United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the Coast Guard Auxillary. Hortense was also an avid boater for almost 50 years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 1/2 years, Charles E. Witt of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sister Natalie Grinstead of Lake Havasu City, AZ; and niece Melanie Grinstead-Hanak of Lake Havasu City, AZ.

Private funeral services will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Robert Allen Thomson, 66, passed away October 29, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to John & Hazel (Hagerman) Tharp on July 14, 1937 in Los Angeles, CA.

Mr. Thomson moved to Lake Havasu 13 years ago from Orange County, CA. He was a self employed upholsterer for many years. Six of those years he did work for Cheeta Boats in Lake Havasu.

He loved the lake and went boating as often as he could. He especially loved speed boats. Robert was a World Class Diver from spring board and loved waterskiing. In the 1960's at Long Beach Marina, he attempted to break the world speed limit for waterskiing.

Mr. Thomson is survived by his brother Ronald Tharp of Anaheim, CA and several children located in California.

He will be dearly missed by everyone who had the opportunity of knowing him.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Margaret “Peg” Carpenter passed away peacefully at her home in Lake Havasu, Arizona on October 6, 2003 after a long struggle with cancer. She was born March 13, 1931 and was raised in East Liverpool, Ohio with her parents Stan and Edna Kidder.

Peg and her husband relocated to California in the early 1950’s to raise their children. She retired from the Westminster Elementary School District in 1989 after 20 years of service. After retirement, they moved to Lake Havasu in 1990.

She was the wife of Lloyd, her husband of 51 years and the loving mother of Jean (Stacey) Kobata of Lake Havasu and Lloyd Jr. of Westminster, California. Peg also had granddaughter, Amy and great granddaughter, Haylee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Another visitation will also be held at Westminster Memorial Park and Mortuary, Westminster, California on Friday, October 10 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment will take place Westminster Memorial Park and Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may go to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.

Her family and friends will remember her lovingly.
