William Brendan Cahill 85, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on July 26, 1918 in Bronx, New York to William Michael Cahill and Katherine Mary "Roche" Cahill.

William worked as a superior court clerk in Nassau Co., New York for 22 years. He moved to Lake Havasu City 22 years ago from Malverne, New York. William was a proud veteran of World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus 4th degree. He loved golf and was an avid bowler. He also enjoyed fishing and gardening.

William is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Anna Cahill of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, an adoring son Michael (Diane) Cahill of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, two sisters Margaret Mary (Tom) Danaher of Massachettes, Joan Ann Allen of Washington, a granddaughter Christy and twin great grandsons Scott and Thomas. He is preceded in by his parents William and Katherine Cahill and brothers, Francis, John and Kevin.

Visitation will be held on Friday March 12, 2004 from 6 - 8 PM at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Rosary will be said by Deacon Tom Coe at 7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday March 13, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church with Father Charles Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. V.F.W. Post 9401 will provide full military honors.

The Cahill family requests donations be given to Hospice of Havasu, P O Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86405-0597 or a favorite charity.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.

Ralph R. (Ray) Donahue, left this world peacefully on March 6, 2004 at his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on December 4, 1923 to Michael and Agnes (Murphy) Donahue. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the Navy in the South Pacific.

He worked as a civil service employee at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. He retired in 1976, after 30 years of service. Ralph and his wife Tina moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona from Layton, Utah in 2001.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife, of 57 years, Tina (Liveston); sons John (Lynne) Donahue, Greeley, Colorado; Dan Donahue of Ogden, Utah; William (Tammy) Donahue, Layton, Utah; Robert Donahue, Lake Elsinore, California; nine grandchildren and 2 great grandsons; brother Renel (Barbara) Donahue; Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts; sisters Joan (Donald) McMahon, and Helen Donahue, Barre, Vermont.

A private funeral service, for the family, will be held at a future date. Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory made the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597 Lake Havasu City, AZ. 86405

Sam C. Savage Sr., age 75 of Lake Havasu City, completed his journey in this world on Thursday, March 4, 2004. A lifetime love of one, a brother to 13, father of three, a grandfather to four. He was born on September 30, 1928 to Mike and Minnie Savage in Cecil Township, Pennsylvania. He moved with his family to Lake Havasu City in 1989 from Mentor-on-the-Lake, Ohio.

Sam was a 41-year member of Local Laborer’s Union 860. He served as an MP in the United States Marine Corp.

Sam added joy to many people with his contagious smile and colorful sense of humor. He served as a surrogate father to many. He taught people how to work hard and enjoy life to the fullest. He was a lover of all music and took great pride in his collection of acoustic guitars and his Latin rhythm. On any sunny day Sam could be found motorcycling, sunbathing, or pruning his prized fruit trees. He will be deeply missed and loved by all that were lucky enough to know him.

Sam is survived by his best friend and beloved wife of 37 years, Vernita Louise Savage; sons, Mark Mathew Savage and his wife Tanya of Seabeck, WA and Sam Charles Savage Jr. and Jenny Martin of Lake Havasu; daughter Rachel Viney of Lake Havasu; brothers, Peter Savage of Panama, NY and Joe Savage of Strongsville, OH; sisters, Dorothy McCoy of Stockdale, PA and Rosie Chepes of Lucas, OH; grandchildren, Kaylee Savage, Victoria Savage, Taylor Viney and Harley (Skooter) Viney.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 9 at 10:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel with Rev. Carol Sheffield officiating. The Marine Corp. League will be conducting full military honors.

James M. Zimmerman, 79, passed away March 3, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Fredrick and Marie (Donohue) Zimmerman on August 23, 1924 in Chicago, IL.

Jim moved to Lake Havasu 30 years ago from Tinley Park, IL. For 30 years he was employed as a printer. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie #4299 and a lifetime member of the VFW #9401. He attended Lake Havasu Center of Religious Science and the Lake Havasu Senior Center. He especially enjoyed traveling.

Jim was a proud veteran in the US Army during WWII and had the responsibility of driving an ambulance. He was awarded the Victory Medal American Theater Ribbon, the European African Middle Easter Theater Ribbon with one Silver Star, 3 overseas bars, a Good Conduct medal, the Purple Heart and the Silver Star Medal. He was wounded during the Battle of the Bulge.

Jim will be dearly missed by his brother, Fred Zimmerman of Lake Havasu and sister, Betsy Rick and her husband Logan of Tinley Park, IL.

His parents and sister-in-law, Valerie preceded him in .

Leo John Cadorette, 77, passed away March 1, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to James & Mabel (Briere) Cadorette on December 27, 1926 in Lowell, MA.

Leo made Lake Havasu his home 24 years ago, moving from Plymouth, MA. He was a proud veteran in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

For 3 years he was a security guard for Campbell Boats in Lake Havasu.

Leo will be dearly missed by his beloved wife and best friend, Emiko.

Beatrice Arlene Bower, 88, passed away on February 26, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born on March 5, 1915 to Michael Bredael and Hattie "Hoffman" Bredael in New Denmark, Wisconsin.

Beatrice was employed in electronics for Hughes Aircraft in Fullerton, California for 25 years. She relocated to Lake Havasu City, Arizona 26 years ago from Westminster, California.

Beatrice is survived by her three adoring children, James Harold Bower of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, John Michael Bower of Oakland, Oregon and Victoria Bruno of Huntington Beach, California. She is also survived by her 7 greandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in by her parents Michael and Hattie Bredael and her loving husband Harold B. Bower.

A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday March 2, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, with Father Michael Deptula officiating.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.

Michael Anthony Ordog was born on December 19, 1973 in Willingboro, NJ. He entered into eternal rest on February 18, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ.

Michael moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 20 years ago from Willingboro, NJ. He worked for D L. Campbell Co., Inc. in Lake Havasu City, AZ; as a truck driver and also worked for the City of Lake Havasu in the wastewater department for 9 years. Michael loved motorcycles and enjoyed fishing.

He was a loving son of Roberta (Bert) Kenselaar of Lake Havasu City, AZ; devoted brother to Tony Ordog III and Jason Marcellino both of Lake Havasu City, AZ; and is also survived by many friends.

Michael lived life to the fullest, and will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

There will be memorial gathering at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Monday, February 23, 2004 from 6 to 8 PM.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
