Isabelle Veronica McDonald, 94, passed away in Portland Oregon on November 3, 2002. She was born on November 9, 1907 in Seattle, Washington to James & Myrtle "Young" Brogan.

Isabelle was a resident of the Bisbee, Arizona area from 1907 to 1936 and moved to Lake Havasu in 1973 leaving in 1997. She graduated from Portland State University She was an elementary school teacher for many years in Portland where she taught at St. Rita Grade School and also at Lents Elementary School, mostly teaching the 6th grade. She retired in 1972.

During WWI, she worked in the Portland Shipyards.

She is survived by her five daughters, Mary Pletka, Barbara McCormick, Bertie McDonald, Louis McDonald all of Portland, Oregon and Anne A. Mathews of Las Vegas, Nevada; her brother Walter Brogan of Lake Havasu; 24 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and 7 great great granchildren. She is preceded in by her son James McDonald who passed away in 1997.

Graveside services will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens, Saturday, November 9, 2:00 PM with Deacon Tom Coe officiating.

The family would like donations to go to St. Vincent de Paul Society at either of these Catholic Churches: St. Charles, 5310 NE 42nd, Portland, OR 97218 or Ascension Church, 7507 SE Yamhill, Portland, OR 97215.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Laura Mae Williams, 59 passed away November 5th, 2002 at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Az. She was born June 2nd, 1943 in Paymyra, PA., to Ralph Alwine and Harriet "Eberly".

Laura moved to Lake Havasu City, Az. 28 years ago from Palmyra, PA. She worked as a school teacher for Parker Dam, CA; for 20 years. She was a member of the Elks.

Laura is survived by her daughter Heather Williams of Lake Havasu City, Az; fiance Robert J. Fadell of Portage, IN; brother George Eberly of Palmyra, PA; and granddaughter Skylar.

A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday, November 9th, 2002, 3:30 PM with Rev. Richard Rounds officiating.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

William George Christian Tinkelenberg, 90, passed away October 31, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on July 14, 1912 in Penang, Malaysia to George & Carola "Brijl" Tinkelenberg.

William has lived in Lake Havasu for 14 years, moving to Arizona 42 years ago from Boston, Massahusetts. He worked as an electrical engineer for GE Honeywell in Phoenix, Arizona for 20 years.

William served in the Royal Dutch Air Force during WWII.

He is survived by his loving family, son, Henk Tinkelenberg of Harvard, Massachusetts; daughters, Carla Cross of Carefree, Arizona and Tina Braster of Chandler, Arizona and five grandchildren.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Frank James Ariano, 84, passed away October 31, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born March 19, 1918 in Schaumburg, Illinois to Battista & Margaret "Vigna" Ariano.

Frank moved to Lake Havasu 14 years ago from Chicago, Illinois. He was a Postal Worker in Schaumburg, Illinois for 25 years.

Frank was a proud veteran in the US Navy during WWII. He loved to play pool and exercise at the Senior Center.

His is survived by his loving companion, Mary Trumble of Lake Havasu.

Graveside services will be held November 6, 2002, 10:00 AM at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens with Deacon Tom DeFilippis officiating. The interment will follow immediately after the service.

Richard Ward Flynn Sr., 62, passed away October 23, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on February 8, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Paul & Frances "Ward" Flynn.

Richard moved to Lake Havasu 15 years ago from Las Vegas, Nevada. He has 40 years experience as a mason, working for Mitchell Masonary here in Lake Havasu and later he did bartending and janitorial work for the Sign In Lounge for seven years. Richard was a proud veteran during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his loving family; sons, Richard Ward Flynn Jr. of Randolph, New Jersey, Shawn Flynn and Keith Flynn both of Lake Havasu; daughter, Kelly VanDalen of Vero Beach, Florida; brother, Paul Flynn; sister, Claire Way of Florida and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place Saturday, November 2, 1:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel with Rev. Richard Rounds officiating. The V.F.W. Post #9401 will be doing military honors. His friends will be holding a gathering at the Sign In Lounge following the service to honor his memory.

Carol Ann Coltrin, 57, passed away October 29th, 2002, peacefully at her residence in Lake Havasu City, Az. She was born on September 18th, 1945 in Glendale, CA. to Russell H. Grenning and Mildred "Mockus" Grenning.

Carol moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ. 3 years ago from Los Osos, CA. She worked as a teacher for Lucia Mar School Dist. in Arroyo Grande, CA. for 30 years. She was a member of the California Teachers Association and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, John M. Coltrin, sons Russell Coltrin of Livermore, CA; Ryan Coltrin of Arcata, CA; and l grandchild, John Nicholas Coltrin who is 2 weeks old.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 1st, 2002 at Lietz-Fraze Chapel from 12:30 to 1:30 pm, with the funeral service to follow at 1:30 pm. Burial will take place at Mono Lake Cemetery in Lee Vining, CA.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 733 3rd. Ave, New York, NY. 10017

Frances Lucille Hill, 84, passed away October 27, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born February 13, 1918 in Coweta, Oklahoma to Albert & Maggie "Pennington" Berryhill.

Frances has been a 27 year resident of Lake Havasu, moving here from Springfield, Illinois where she spent 15 years as owner of her own collection agency.

She was a member of the Elks Lodge and St. Michael's United Methodist Church.

Frances is survived by her loving family, son, Keith Wayne Hill and his wife Viola of Lake Havasu; her sister, Ruth Rush of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 2, 5:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel with Rev. Lyndon Mason officiating.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
