Mary Rose Fraley, 92, passed away October 27, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born August 10, 1910 in Butte, Montana to Angelo & Rosie "Dalpez" Piazzola.

Mary moved to Lake Havasu 30 years ago from Pomona, Calif. For 45 years she was a self employed Registered Nurse.

Mary was a member of the Lake Havasu Senior Center, Good Sam Club, T.O.P.S., Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church and the Family Motor Coach Association. She enjoyed boating, camping, fishing and traveling.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Merril "Mac" Fraley; two daughters Shirley Ann York of Westminster, Calif., and Rene May Castillo of Upland, Calif.; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She is preceded in by her first husband Keith Helwick. They were married March 23, 1946 and he passed away in 1957.

A visitation will be held Friday, November 1 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral serivces will be at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Saturday, November 2 at 9:30 AM. Graveside services will be on Monday, November 4, 12:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, Pomona, Calif. with Father Wayne Noble officiating.

The family request contributions to go to the Lake Havasu Senior Center or Hospice of Havasu.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Joseph John Rosone, 68, passed away on October 25th, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on December 9th, 1933 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Joe is the owner of Papa Joe's Upholstery in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He is a proud veteran in the U.S. Navy. He moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona from Azusa, California 10 years ago.

Joe is survived by his loving companion of 15 years Dee Griffin, his son Joe Rosone and his wife Linda of Covina, California, his daughters Sandie LaMere and her husband Mike of Covina, California, Shawn Costello and her husband Jim of Apple Valley, California, Michelle Sweet and her husband Jim of Lake Isabella, California, his sister, Marie Rosone of Simi Valley, California, Dee's children David Griffin of Bloomington, California and Debbie Tuohey and her husband Shawn of Glendora, California. Also surviving are his grandchildren Lauren and Danielle Rosone, Christopher LaMere and his wife Kimberly, Travis, Jasmine and Joel Costello, Georgette and Janell Sweet.

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday October 30th, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Following the service friends and family are invited to the family home for a reception catered by Angelinas, a favorite restaurant of Joes.

At Papa Joe's request, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Western Arizona Humane Society.

Arrangements were made by the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Howard "Bud" Clinton Spence, "Papa Bud", "Uncle Bud" 68, passed away on October 25th, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on September 24th, 1934 in Walters, Oklahoma to Wilson H. and Willie L. "Welch" Spence.

Howard is a self employed contractor in Pleasanton, California for 30 years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict in the U. S. Navy. He moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona from Livermore, California 13 years ago.

Howard is survived by his mother Willie Lee Jones, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, who has been taking care of Howard for the past 13 years because of his illness, son Steve Spence of Tracy, California, step-sons Mark McGowan of Livermore, California, Jay McGowan of Livermore, California, daughter Debbie G. Ramirez of San Jose, California, step-daughter Marjo McGowan, brothers Billie W. Spence and his wife Bonnie of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Charles R. Spence and his wife MaryAnn of Aberdeen, Washington, sister Nancy Stapleton of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in by his beloved step-father Edward Jones in Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 1996.

Visitation will be held on Monday October 28th, 2002 from 6 - 8 PM at the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday October 29th, 2002 at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens at 10:30 AM. with Pastor Tom Adams officiating. Military Honors will be performed by VFW Post #9401.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Havasu.

Arrangements were made by the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Bonnie Martin, 88, passed away on August 29th, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born to loving parents Charlie Coe and Mattie "Edens" Coe on September 1st, 1913 in Clay County, Tennessee.

Bonnie moved to Arizona 44 years ago from Indiana and is survived by her nephew William Coe of Tompkinsville, Kentucky.

Bonnie will be buried at Eastlawn Cemetery in Tucson, Arizona. Arrangements in Tucson, Arizona will be made by Adair Avalon Funeral Home 8090 N. Northern Ave. Tucson, Arizona 85704. 520-742-7901.

Local arrangements were made by the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Velma Doris Tracy, 83, passed away on August 29th, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born to George Bedford Coles and Matilda "Hendrickson" Coles on September 27th, 1918 in Needles, California.

Velma was an accountant for National Cash Register in Las Vegas, Nevada for 20 years. She moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona 17 years ago from Reno, Nevada where she was a training specialist in Systems and Procedures for National Cash Register. She is past president of the Junior League of Southern California and enjoyed fishing, horses and dancing. In her early years she was a ballerina and studied under Nico Charisse (husband of Cyd Charisse).

Velma is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Jerome A. Tracy of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, sons Jonathan B. Tracy of St. George, Utah, and Jerome E. Tracy of Phoenix, Arizona.

Donations can be made to St. Judes in Boulder City, Nevada.

Visitation will be held on Monday September 2nd, 2002 from 6 - 8 PM at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 3rd, 2002 at 8:30 AM at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel with Rev. Richard Rounds officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements were made by the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Violet Carol Edenfield, 74, passed away on August 29th, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born on March 25th, 1928 to Adolf Abruzzo and Violet Lillian "Woods" Abruzzo in Queens, New York.

Violet was a self-employed bookkeeper for 30 years in Wasilla, Alaska. She moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona 15 years ago from Willow Alaska. She is a member of Lakeview Community Church in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Violet is survived by her daughters Christine Carol Burch of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Debra Lynn Bolles of Anchorage, Alaska, Pamela Anne Edenfield of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, brother Henry Mullaney of Portland, Oregon, sister Leslye Stolze of Niceville, Florida, grandchildren Grady Henderson, Scott Henderson, Shawn Bolles, David Bolles, great grandchildren Madison Henderson and Nolan Henderson.

A memorial services will be held on Saturday August 31st, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. at Lakeview Community Church with Pastor Dale Ray officiating.

Arrangements were made by the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Mathew Mike Tikva, 73, passed away on August 29th, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born to loving parents Matt Tikva and Mary "Paulis" Tikva on February 26th, 1929 in Youngstown, Ohio.

Mathew is a real estate agent for Joanna & Associates Realty in Lake Havasu City, Arizona for 20 years and is a veteran of Korea in the US Army. He moved to Arizona 25 years ago from Agoura, California.

Mathew belonged to many local car clubs and took pleasure in restoring his 1962 Volkswagen. He is a member of Lake Havasu Realtors and a member of Hilltop Church.

Mathew is survived by his devoted wife of 29 years Mary D. "Henderson" Tikva of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, son John Morgan of Riverside, California, daughters Nancy Brink of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Elaine Bodette of Burlington, Vermont, grandchildren Charla Lain, James Lain, Sean Lain, Cliff Brink, Clint Brink, great grandchildren Jasmine Arriaga, Keila Arriaga, Devon Lain, Ashlynne Lain, Cody Lain, Bailey Lain, Cory Lain and Stefanie Lain.

Donation to be made to Hospice of Havasu or Western Arizona Humane Society.
